Nautilus provides private beach access directly from the property to the public beach on Okaloosa Island. No street crossing is required to reach the beach.

- Beach Gear, Already Packed for You: No need to haul heavy gear from home - Nautilus 1205 comes equipped with two extra beach chairs, a cooler, and a beach tote.
- COMPLIMENTARY BEACH SERVICE: Beach service provided by our beach vendor includes two beach chairs and one umbrella with paid stays of 14 days or less from March 1 through October 31. Your setup is guaranteed, but the specific location on the beach is not.
- Vendor Rentals: Kayaks, paddleboards, extra setups and reserved locations can be rented directly from the vendor on the sand.
- ADA Access: An accessible public ramp is available immediately next door.
- Property Access: On-site private access is stairs-only.
- Beach Access: Nautilus provides private beach access directly from the property to the public beach on Okaloosa Island.

Payment and Cancellation Policy for booking direct through Nautilus Condominiums - If you booked through an online travel agent (AirBNB, VRBO, etc), the payment and cancellation policy of the platform applies. A $250 advance payment is required at the time of booking for a reservation to be valid. The final balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If we have not received another form of payment 30 days prior to your check-in date, your credit card will be charged automatically. Cancellation of rentals that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the total reservation amount. If renter must shorten their stay within 30 days of arrival or after checked in, no refunds will be provided for the nights not used. Long term guests (28 days or longer) - must pay 1st months rent 60 days prior to arrival and must cancel at least 60 days prior to arrival or will forfeit 100% of total reservation amount. We encourage guests to buy Travel Protection Insurance to protect themselves. Once you are within 30 days of check in there are no moving dates, nor moving units. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or cleaning and maintenance concerns. If present and reported, all cleaning or maintenance concerns will be corrected promptly.

We stayed in unit 1205 and it was great!! It had a great oceanfront balcony and the unit was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved that it included beach towels, chairs and a cooler so we didn’t have to figure out how to get that there on the plane. Would definitely stay her again if we vacation in this area in the future. Overall, a great vacation. The location is perfect with gorgeous view. Unit had extras that added to the experience. We had use of beach towels, beach tote, cooler, extra chairs, and beach toys. We also had beach service which included an umbrella with 2 chairs free to use each day.
The unit could use a deep cleaning, but it wasn't too bad. Washer and dryer were a big help. Be sure to bring soap, shampoo,etc. Also very limited paper supplies and towels. We stayed for several days, but I was able to wash so we made it fine.
Kitchen had both drip coffee pot and a Keurig. Plenty of utensils and plates, glasses and cooking pots. "

The condo was clean and comfortable. The unit has everything in the kitchen (plates, pots, pans, utensils etc.) if you want to cook your own food. There is also a washer and dryer if you want to wash your clothes. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from our balcony and that is the selling point for us. We will definitely stay here again. "

I stayed in unit 1205, the whole experience was amazing. Communication from after booking and before my arrival was top notch. Check in was seamless. The view from our balcony was stunning and the distance to the beach was perfect! The unit was clean and comfortable and the included beach service was an added bonus. We decided to look for a place in Fort Walton Beach to get away from all of the people in the high towers in Panama City Beach. The location was great but the property is in need of a facelift on the outside and grounds. It looked like some type of water was overflowing in the parking lot."

"Family Spring Break!
We had a fantastic 6 night stay here for a family spring break with my wife and our two boys (6 & 4 years old). Perfectly sized condo for a family of 4 with young kids and the view from the balcony is gorgeous! Unit was in great condition and the property is well maintained overall with a very helpful staff. The beach speaks for itself and the beach service is definitely a huge plus. We spent our days lounging on the beach and soaking up the sun, and spent our nights either checking out different spots around FWB/Destin or simply enjoying some more quality family time in the condo and eating in/grilling out (3 community charcoal grills for use if you are a big grilling fanatic like me!). Only possible compliant I have is the pool is stuck in the shade with where it is located, which made it cold for the kids given the time of the year (mid-March), but let's be honest we came for the beach and not the pool. Overall it was an incredible stay and I'm sure we will be back again next year for our 3rd year in a row!"

Ft. Walton Beach is a great vacation spot! The beach is awesome! Check-in and check-out went smoothly. The condition of the condo could have been much better and cleaner. All appliances needed work. Some drawer pulls were missing, and paint was damaged all over the condo. The toilets were extremely low. The stairway down to the beach was high and steep, and the pool was small. Proximity to the Thom Thumb was nice. Stewby's has great seafood, and Alvin's Island has everything."

The view is hard to beat. A short walk to the beach and chair rentals. We actually rented kayaks for an hour, although we thought it was a little overpriced, it was so much fun. The condo was easy to access and was ready pretty early which was really nice. The fire alarm did go off at 1am from a faulty something and was REALLY loud. Overall, the view and location really made it the best. "

"First retirement vacation
We discovered a beautiful piece of Florida that we didn’t know existed. The temperatures are not as warm as lower Florida, but that was okay with us. The beach has the whitest sand we have ever seen. The location of this unit is perfect for eating out, shopping and golfing. Our unit was clean, the kitchen is well stocked, but the living room furniture could be up grated. A little table would have been nice on the balcony also. The staff at Nautilus are fantastic, friendly and always willing to help."

The property overall was good, the people at check in were extremely friendly and allowed us to go in our unit an hour or two early, which we appreciated. We had an amazing trip, our biggest complaint were the beds, they were awful, it felt like sleeping on a rock, our daughter chose to sleep on the couch the entire trip. The toilets were a little awkward, sitting very low to the floor; otherwise we have no complaints. The beach service was great every day! "

Unit needed some work with sheet rock replacement at the time of our stay, Melissa the manager did let us know and offered us a different unit which we declined and decided to stay in unit anyway since it was all cosmetic only. She was very informative and helpful! The views from the unit are stunning and unit needs some work but whatever you need Melissa and Keith were there ready to assist. I would definitely stay here again."

The ice maker made a terrible noise, the dryer was broken and in my one week stay it was never fixed, the wall had mold that had been cleaned up but the interior was still exposed, and the bedroom had an odor. If these problems have been solved, as I’m sure they have been, it’s a great condo. The location is perfect and the complex is small. I have stayed in this complex for over 20 years. This was the first time I have ever had a problem. "

We all had a very good stay. The condo we stayed in needs some updates. The sliding glass doors were very hard to open. We used the one in the bedroom the most, as we had a really hard time with the one in the living area. If we revisit the area again, we would stay with Nautilus again. "

"Great Vacation Destination!
Amazing! From day one communication was on point and always answered. The rental was clean and stocked. There was an abundance of linens and towels, loved having a toaster oven, toaster, blender, and coffee maker! More than I expected. The room could use updates with paint and other touch ups, but we weren't on FWB for the room. The beach was clean and beach service was always ready to go by 9am, the pool was clean and had water toys/floaties for people. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The only negative would be the noise outside of our room from the neighbors in 1206. The first group of renters were fighting the first night and we could hear everything going on until about 10pm. The next set of renters were in and out of their room at 7am slamming doors and running around. The dunes, which are not to be walked on, had people on them almost daily. It is in the paperwork given by the condo AND posted by the walkways, yet people were still crossing them! Sorry, I had to tell people to stay off of them! "

We had a great stay at Nautilus. Loved the location and of course the beautiful white sand beach just steps from our condo. Condo was well equipped and had spectacular views of the beach and gulf! We’ll definitely be back."

"Unit 1205 is Amazing !!
We loved the condo!! Great location, sugar white sand, close to Publix, gorgeous clear emerald water, and perfect beachy decorations. My nephew loved the bunk beds, cozy bedding. We even had some beach toys, boogie boards and 1 beach chair. We enjoyed beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset from the private balcony. The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep each night. We just loved the property, super clean, and just my style. We would love to come back again soon !!

"Family vacation
As owners of 1103 at the nautilus we wanted to bring our family down for a week, but our family is too large for our condo, so we rented 1205 to help out. It was very nicely decorated and enough room for one family. The Nautilus is a great place to vacation."

"Always a nice stay at Nautilus
I always enjoy staying at Nautilus. This particular unit had a small issue with mold growth on items in the kitchen (display items). Also, unlike other units I have stayed in, the kitchen was bare / minimally stocked — that is on the owners I assume. Cell service on the island is poor but not sure that can be helped. Pool area could use a few optional umbrellas for shade!! Overall, the location can’t be beat and the staff are great at Nautilus :)"

"Short beautiful getaway
The Nautilus seems like one of the older condos in the area. Our unit could’ve used a little TLC. Although, the views were beautiful, it would’ve been nice to have some screens in the windows or sliding door so that we could’ve heard the ocean at night. The pool was nice and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Overall, it was a very nice getaway!"

"Great vacation
My wife and I were supposed to go to Miami for a getaway for the two of us. But because of hurricane Irma, literally at the baggage check in at the air port we decided to change plans and rented a car and came to Destin and stayed at nautilus. What a great change of plans for sure. The accommodations were great and we were so glad to have gotten to stay there. "
