Payment and Cancellation Policy for booking direct through Nautilus Condominiums - If you booked through an online travel agent (AirBNB, VRBO, etc), the payment and cancellation policy of the platform applies. A $250 advance payment is required at the time of booking for a reservation to be valid. The final balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If we have not received another form of payment 30 days prior to your check-in date, your credit card will be charged automatically. Cancellation of rentals that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the total reservation amount. If renter must shorten their stay within 30 days of arrival or after checked in, no refunds will be provided for the nights not used. Long term guests (28 days or longer) - must pay 1st months rent 60 days prior to arrival and must cancel at least 60 days prior to arrival or will forfeit 100% of total reservation amount. We encourage guests to buy Travel Protection Insurance to protect themselves. Once you are within 30 days of check in there are no moving dates, nor moving units. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or cleaning and maintenance concerns. If present and reported, all cleaning or maintenance concerns will be corrected promptly.

"The perfect coastal escape!
This was our second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The views are amazing, and the beach is only a few yards away—such a perfect location! The staff were very helpful and always quick to communicate. We really appreciated the added amenities in the room, including beach chairs, towels, a cooler, and even beach toys for the kids. Parking was plentiful, even during a public holiday, and as guests we enjoyed complimentary chairs and an umbrella on the beach, which was a huge plus. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Great getaway.
We stayed in unit 2410 which was the first time we have stayed in building 2. Overall the room and views were perfect. The nautilus itself is great to stay at. My only complaint is I do feel the master bedroom bed was very uncomfortable in this unit particularly, It was very very firm. We did text management about a light that didn’t want to work right and then responded promptly to the matter. We will definitely be returning in the future. "

"Was not the best experience
Overall, I was pretty disappointed in this place. I thought it was going to be great, but each day it just kept declining. To start off, when we first got to the room it looked like the toilet had not even been cleaned. I had to get cleaning supplies to wipe it down, and let’s just say a lot of brown stuff came off the toilet. Second, we stayed in a place that sleeps 6 people- us having 4 in our condo. They only gave us just 1 roll of toilet paper for EACH bathroom TOTAL for a 6 night stay. When asked for at least 1 more roll, we were told there is a Tom Thumb across the street where you can buy more. The guy on the beach that sets up the chairs is a complete ******- all i can say is good luck with dealing with that. I will say that the check-in/out process was very nice and accommodating, along with them having a nice pool, but other than that they need a major remodel and not to be so stingy. "

"WONDERFUL!
Very clean. Great location. Beach was just steps away. I’ve paid more for a rental and had to walk a much longer distance to the beach. I’m not in the best of health so that was important to me. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We arrived late but had no difficulty getting in due to the keyless code being sent to me. It was a great experience. We will be returning asap!"

"Clean, Nice Location but not so nice front desk lady (rude)
LOVED the location, condo was very nice and clean. Upon check in I went to front desk and the lady checked me in as I grabbed brochures, i had questions as to where to park close to location of elevators, she pointed at the direction and brushed me off. So I left out of the office figuring she was busy. Only for her to follow me outside so she could smoke right outside the office door...that was what she was in a hurry to do. They didn't have a bag in the trash can and we went downstairs to front desk to get one and the same older lady working the front desk said "Well we aren't suppose to give you any, you are suppose to bring your own" ...well they didn't even have one in the first place. So Front desk is not inviting or smiling and apparently hates their job, as a Nurse I come across rude people daily but to PAY to stay somewhere and be treated rudely is a huge Turnoff. Maybe she was having a couple of bad days, who knows, but you should never treat guest anything less than professionally."

"Vacation was great. Excellent Location to the beach.
Rental was mostly good. Elevators were very slow. I booked two condos. One for myself and one for my granddaughter and her three children. My room was okay. The kitchen floor needed a good cleaning. Had to get management to come up and look at the TV in the living room. Had to have new cables. Worked great after that. The only complaint my granddaughter had was the pillows in the main bedroom so we just went and bought two new pillows. Also the second bedroom and bathroom in my condo did not have any throw rugs so I bought my own to go in there. No matter how much you try you cannot keep the sand from being on the floors."

"Last minute trip
The condo was great. Everything was clean. Parking was easy. It had everything we needed. I booked this about 3 days out for a wedding we attended and we said we would stay there again. Our 1 and only complaint was the elevators. Not sure they were working properly, one even had a note of what to do if it got stuck. Lots of stairs were taken!"

"Nice Condominum Complex, Unit just okay
Pros:
Super close to the beach.
The pool was nice, and enjoyed that there were floats to use (I know this is not guaranteed)
Cons:
-The beds were TERRIBLE. All beds were all broken down, but one in the spare room was actually broken in the center.
-The couch was uncomfortable and broken down also. We didn't attempt the pull-out bed on the couch, I would assume it was not good.
-There was not enough pillows for the condo and they were very flat.
-The fans in all the rooms shook slightly.
- Under all the beds were really dusty/sandy.
-The dishwasher was loud when running & was missing wheels to slide the bottom "drawer" out, which makes it very hard to move when it has any amount of dishes in it.
-The light, and fan vent on the microwave was broken.
-The glass shower door in master was not on a track & swung around when moving, seems dangerous.
Take for what it's worth:
There is no ramp down to the beach only stairs. While the condo is next to a public access that has a ramp, it is not as convenient. If you have to bring lots of stuff to the beach & use a wagon (we did because we had kids) it's hard because you have to carry all the stuff downstairs.
-The elevator is SLOW.
While we would recommend the Nautilus Complex, we would not recommend this exact #2410 condo unit, everything seems run down inside, and could really use some updating. It wouldn't take much to make sure the dishwasher had wheels and the microwave buttons weren't broken. We don't go on vacation to spend a ton of time in the condo, and I don't expect the best of the best but there are certain things that the condo should upkeep, especially when you are spending what your spending. I think others would agree that beds and couches, basic cleanliness are a huge factor in how you'd feel about a condo. I will say that I did not reach out to the management office because other than cleaning, I think they would be issues for the "

"Nautilus Vacation Experience
We had a great stay with Nautilus over the July 4th weekend 2023! The proximity to the Beach was great! We spent as much tjne as we could on the beach! The Staff treated us very well, and did there best to enhance our stay at Nautilus. We had a little issue with the clenliness of our particular unit that we stayed in, though. It was clean, but we saw some bugs in the unit. When we informed Melissa (Mgr.) & Staff, the did their best to address the issue right away. They were very apologetic and did their best to accommodate my family."

"Great Family Rental
We come to Fort Walton about twice a year, so we stay in a lot of places. The Nautilus has been our best in a while. It was extremely clean, which is the most important to us. It also had a nice view and the pool was fun for the kids when we didn’t want to go right out back to the beach. The kitchen had most needed items. There were a couple of small maintenance items that needed attention, like a patched wall needing paint, a closet door off track, but these things were super minor and did not detract from our stay at all. Would definitely recommend. "

"First family vacation
Excellent customer service! When we first got to the condo, the code wasn't working on the keypad to let us in. I called the rental office after business hours and they tried trouble shooting, which didn't work. They unlocked the keypad remotely and had the office manager there within 15 minutes to hand us a key so we could come and go as we please. The next morning someone was there to reprogram the keypad while we were at the beach. I was impressed by how quickly they were able to fix the issue.
The condo was clean, beach service was excellent, and we had a fantastic time. The view from the balcony was perfect. The property was clean and quiet. The kitchen came with everything we needed for preparing lite meals. I definitely plan on coming back."

This area is amazing! The staff was great! The beach is so lovely!!! The whole complex is wonderful and family/couple oriented! Loved our stay but this unit was very dated and in poor condition. We were with a group and saw other units which were lovely and updated, but ours was not. I would absolutely stay with nautilus again but not in this unit. Great choice for lovely beaches! "
