Nautilus provides private beach access directly from the property to the public beach on Okaloosa Island. No street crossing is required to reach the beach.

- COMPLIMENTARY BEACH SERVICE: Beach service provided by our beach vendor includes two beach chairs and one umbrella with paid stays of 14 days or less from March 1 through October 31. Your setup is guaranteed, but the specific location on the beach is not.
- Vendor Rentals: Kayaks, paddleboards, extra setups and reserved locations can be rented directly from the vendor on the sand.

Payment and Cancellation Policy for booking direct through Nautilus Condominiums - If you booked through an online travel agent (AirBNB, VRBO, etc), the payment and cancellation policy of the platform applies. A $250 advance payment is required at the time of booking for a reservation to be valid. The final balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If we have not received another form of payment 30 days prior to your check-in date, your credit card will be charged automatically. Cancellation of rentals that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the total reservation amount. If renter must shorten their stay within 30 days of arrival or after checked in, no refunds will be provided for the nights not used. Long term guests (28 days or longer) - must pay 1st months rent 60 days prior to arrival and must cancel at least 60 days prior to arrival or will forfeit 100% of total reservation amount. We encourage guests to buy Travel Protection Insurance to protect themselves. Once you are within 30 days of check in there are no moving dates, nor moving units. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or cleaning and maintenance concerns. If present and reported, all cleaning or maintenance concerns will be corrected promptly.

"Stunning Views, but Major Safety and Value Concerns
This was our first time staying at Nautilus, and considering the price point and surrounding options, the experience was average at best.
Our stay began with a distressing incident: we were trapped in the elevator for over an hour on day one. To make matters worse, our initial call for help was actually canceled because management was told the elevator was working. Luckily, the local fire department still responded after we made a second call for help. Despite signs posted throughout the property regarding "sticky buttons," this was clearly a much larger mechanical issue. Disappointingly, the only compensation offered for this ordeal was a verbal apology.
The Highlights:
• The View: Our top-floor room offered a 5-star view that was truly breathtaking.
• Included Amenities: The property provides a nice selection of gear, including a small cooler, a tote bag, and plenty of beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards. Beach towels are also provided, though you are responsible for laundering and putting them away after use.
• Location: The resort is conveniently close to shopping and local attractions.
• Beach Access: It’s a short walk to the shore, and the beach service staff were very pleasant.
The Downsides:
• Condition: The rooms and the overall property are dated and in desperate need of repairs and modern upgrades—an assessment made even more obvious by the elevator failure.
• Hidden Fees: While chairs are available, be prepared to pay an additional $15 per day if you want to reserve a specific spot on the sand. Otherwise, you are guaranteed a seat, but likely not in a prime location.
• Value: The pool is nice but nothing extravagant.
Overall, I’d rate this a 3-star experience. There are better-maintained resorts nearby that offer more value for the money. I’d likely only stay here again if every other option in the area was fully booked."

"A Beautiful place to Stay
Place is really clean and very spacious. The sea view from the balcony is totally a great one we can enjoy the view of the beach and the harbor too. Its on the last floor and the corner one so we can able to enjoy the sea view a bit more from the rest. Both the bedrooms have seaviews from one bedroom we can enjoy the harbour view and from the other bedroom we can enjoy the seaview. We came with our friends and we all enjoyed the stay. Would highly recommend the place. "

"Perfect Vacation Rental
The condo was beautiful. LOVED the renovations, the decor, the views of the ocean. The jetted tub was huge, plenty of room for my husband and me. The whole condo has so much character throughout. All of the special unique touches unlike most other condos we’ve stayed at. Felt very cozy & warm. The beds were very comfortable, unit was very clean. Loved the white shutters in the windows facing the beach. Felt like a cabana on an island. The Murphy bed in the living room was a nice surprise. Mattress was memory foam and also comfortable. Brand new washer & dryer added plus. Air conditioner nice and cold. The free beach service was a plus, however you have to talk to the beach attendant early to reserve your chairs. It’s first come, first serve. The pool was on the small side, and not facing the ocean, wasn’t a big deal for us, as we only used the the beach. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay & plan on coming back next year. "

"An Interesting Place
The unit we stayed in was comfortable, but the decor was confusing. I’m a very visual person and am affected by my surroundings. The way the furniture was arranged was unsettling to me. The tv (which nice and large) is in front of a glass bookshelf filled with Knick knacks and such. The sectional couch (which was quite comfortable) was facing away from the beautiful Gulf views. There were some odd pieces in the master bedroom which gave it a cheap feel (multicolored floor lamp, occasional tables). The bed, however, was quite comfortable. The tile in the master bath was somewhat mismatched, but there was a nice big garden tub. The balcony was very nice.
We were on the 7th floor and the elevator wasn’t working the last two or three days of our stay. We are in our early 60s and in good health, but it wasn’t fun getting groceries up those stairs.
The water heater was turned down very low when we arrived, but the maintenance man fixed that for us. "

Unit was old, washer and dryer needed to be replaced! It’s unfortunate but manager knew of its condition per maintenance people yet rented out unit anyway! Washer flooded entryway, kitchen, dining and living rooms! Furniture on balcony was rusty and dirty! Didn’t care for old bedding, sheets! Should have been upgraded for guests! Closets had junk stacked everywhere along with water heater leaking/rusting! Unit was as clean as it can be upon Check into unit! Wrap around couch was from the 70’s, and really not comfortable and clean! Floors had sand from beach thru out unit! Old/dated showers and jetted tub! Would not stay at Nautilus property again! "

Beautiful From Entrance to Balcony With Endless Views. Beautiful Granite Black Countertops and had Everything needed in kitchen. Would suggest an automatic off coffee pot;) Cute Little Balcony off Guest Bedroom. Nice Extra Large Dining Table. Red Large Elbow Couch Great for Big Groups Sitting watching tv but Sorry to say lacks comfort due to thin cushions. Would of wished there was a Pair of Recliners;) Love the Beautiful Tropical Shutters so Easy to Open and Close. Balcony Is Beautiful Wrap Around That at times a little too windy chilly to sit out on in cooler months but the Furniture is Nice Would of Enjoyed a High Bar Chairs with Table to See over Railing Possibly;) Master Bedroom Bed Is Very Comfortable with Wonderful Lots of Space for clothing in all Beautiful Vintage Dressers. We were blown away by the view and design of the condo. The staff were terrific and everyone had a great time. My only complaint is the small things. And really there's no good reason these things shouldn't have been replaced. The toaster was rusty and dirty, unusable. Neither can opener worked. Oven light was out. Master shower curtain was torn on both ends. They give you one, yes one roll of toilet paper and paper towels. For the price these little things should not be overlooked."

We had a great unit this time. We have been down to Nautilus 4 times now. We were getting a little worried. While the units have been nice the building itself was deteriorating. I would love to see more repairs done soon i.e. exterior paint chipping on balcony. "

"What an awesome view!
This was our second year staying at The Nautilus. As always, the staff was friendly and helpful. Our condo was on the top floor facing the ocean. It was an amazing view. We had a large balcony with tables and chairs for our comfort. The master suite windows face the ocean and can be opened to listen to the ocean at night. The condo was very comfortable for four adults and three children. Huge TV if anyone cares. Lol. The pool is nice but does not face the ocean. We had a wonderful time."
