Payment and Cancellation Policy for booking direct through Nautilus Condominiums - If you booked through an online travel agent (AirBNB, VRBO, etc), the payment and cancellation policy of the platform applies. A $250 advance payment is required at the time of booking for a reservation to be valid. The final balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If we have not received another form of payment 30 days prior to your check-in date, your credit card will be charged automatically. Cancellation of rentals that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the total reservation amount. If renter must shorten their stay within 30 days of arrival or after checked in, no refunds will be provided for the nights not used. Long term guests (28 days or longer) - must pay 1st months rent 60 days prior to arrival and must cancel at least 60 days prior to arrival or will forfeit 100% of total reservation amount. We encourage guests to buy Travel Protection Insurance to protect themselves. Once you are within 30 days of check in there are no moving dates, nor moving units. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or cleaning and maintenance concerns. If present and reported, all cleaning or maintenance concerns will be corrected promptly.

We were pleased to find everything as described. The beach access was so close and easy. Each day we enjoyed our complimentary beach chairs and umbrella. Having beach towels and two extra chairs made it even better. The condo was clean and well-appointed. The pool was nice as well. We felt safe and would definitely consider coming again. Our only regret was the extra charge we incurred booking through VRBO vs booking directly."

"Wonderful stay!
We made it home last night from a week’s stay in Nautilus #2710 and are ready to return! Our condo was easy to access and check-in the following morning after a late arrival was smooth and convenient. The staff sent texts in the days prior to our arrival that clearly explained all amenities, policies, etc... so there were no surprises. The notes were very helpful in knowing what to bring. The condo was perfect for our needs with plenty of dishes to cook breakfast daily & an evening meal. The unit had salt & pepper but no other spices so you will need to bring your own. We loved having laundry in the unit as well. There were plenty of pillows and soft blankets, towels, etc... and although there was dish soap and laundry soap pods, there was only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom & one bar of soap. It was part of description so we knew ahead of time we would be grabbing extra at store. The staff was quick to fix the leaky toilet which was much appreciated, and sent texts throughout our stay making sure all was well. The grounds were clean, pool nice, walkway to beach was well kept and also had wash station which worked out great! The complex provides a nice garden/grill area for everyone, but If you plan to grill, you will need your own charcoal as there are no gas grills. The thoughtful touches of including beach chairs, towels, beach bag, and cooler made trips to beach so easy without having to pack or buy your own! This was HUGE for us, especially having a cooler for the week! Overall, the Nautilus complex was great with views from every unit! We could lie in bed and see and hear the waves crashing to the shore. We also enjoyed just sitting on the balcony every morning and evening watching and listening to the ocean. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a clean, quiet, family friendly stay right on Ft Walton Beach. �� "

"Great Beach Vacation
We had an absolutely fabulous stay at the Nautilus! Everything was just as described in the description. Some of the things we loved: we loved the that the pool area had lots of things for us to use (floats, noodles, boogie boards, etc); we loved the unit itself because everything was clean and modern and layed out very nicely (we loved that we had a view of both the ocean and the pool because of how the condo was built); the unit was also equipped with everything we needed (some of our favorites were the blender, 2 chairs we could take to the beach to use, a bag to carry to the pool/beach, and beach service which also provided 2 more chairs and an umbrella to use at the beach); we loved the location of the hotel because the area wasn't very busy; and we loved the communication by the office staff before, during, and after our stay. Overall it was a great stay and we hope to return!"

"Clean, nice furnishes, and newly updated
Overall it was a very nice rental. There were a couple of minor issues that did not affect our stay. We told the office and they were quick to address. All of the indoor furniture was nice and new. The master bed was not very comfortable, but wasn't the worst. The property was clean and everyone that we crossed paths with was pleasant. The newly renovated unit was nice and I'd recommend this unit and the property to others. Hoping we can come back and stay again soon! "

"Amazing view!
This was a trip with my great nieces whom had never been to the beach. They were very excited and loved it! Condo was the perfect size for us! Very clean! My only complaint was the dryer wasn’t drying our clothes, but we called the office and a very nice man came within the hour and fixed it so I can’t complain about that. Would stay here again!"

"Quite getaway with Beautiful Beach!
We loved Nautilus Condos. Our unit was well equipped and had great views of the ocean. The pool on property was always clean and had music playing which was a plus. This was a fantastic location and close enough to everything but also just far enough away to feel secluded and quiet. We will return next year for sure. Two fins up! "

"Needs a deep clean
I’m not typically one to give a harsh review of a property but this one has some cleanliness issues that need to be addressed. My biggest complaint is the roaches in the kitchen! We killed at least 20 while we were there. Property management said they would send maintenance but we never saw anyone. We purposely left dead bugs so they could see them in case they came while we were gone, but they were never cleaned up. The whole place needs deep cleaning, baseboards wiped down, cabinets wiped down. Floor needs mopped, my feet were filthy after walking barefoot. Beds were average, could have been better. Needs more bed pillows and extra blankets. Overall decor was nice and furniture was in average shape. We liked location, overall complex was in decent shape. Ample parking. Miguel, who handles chair rentals was wonderful! If it wasn’t for the bug/cleanliness issues this would at least be a 4 - 4.5 star unit. "

"Facelift for pictures
We have been spending our 20 days vacation in Fort Walton for the past 4 years. We keep trying different properties because most of the apartments/condos in this area are ourdated and infested of cockroaches. Looking at the "Newly renovated" pictures for this apartment we thought we had finally found our place. Unfortunately it was only a"facelift" and behind the beautiful pictures the kitchen was INFESTED with cockroaches: inside the microwave, inside the fridge!! Inside the oven and swimming in my coffee in the morning. I have many pictures. Cleanliness was also terrible!! Hair rolling under beds.
Room doors are thin as paper so nobody slept once anybody woke up...Our overall experience was ok though we will have to keep looking."

Wonderful experience. Loved the condo and all the amenities. Elevator worked well, adequate parking which we were so thankful for, good powerful water hoses to hose sand off. "Nautilus Unit 2710
The room was nice. We started finding little roaches in the kitchen after the first day. Not overtaking the place but present. The amount of the cleaning fee we have to pay I would assumed that wouldn't be an issue, but it was. Additionally, when we first got there, we found that the floors were pretty dirty. Not so much that we felt uncomfortable, we were just surprised to see so many hairballs from previous guests and dirt considering how much of a cleaning fee is required when booking this room. The closet floors were full of dust build up so it was obvious mopping isn't a regular thing. I wasn't impressed that we were asked to strip the beds before check out among a few other minor tasks such as starting the dishwasher. It wasn't a big deal nor very a time consuming task, it just felt odd to be asked to help with cleanup after paying to stay there as a guest on top of the higher-than-usual cleaning fee; if it's not obvious, I'm pretty taken aback by that. We booked for 4 nights/5 days and there were two trash bags in the room so I'd suggest you bring extra if you're coming with more than 2 people. We asked before coming if the tv's were smart tvs because we were traveling with 2 two-year-olds. We were told yes, they were. When we arrived, the room that the toddlers were going to be in was not a smart tv so we struggled a bit with that. Had we known that, we could have brought a roku stick or dvd player. I'm sure it was a harmless mistake but I'm sure there are parents who might want to know so I'm including it in my review. This review may seem very negative, but overall the room truly is very nice and beautifully decorated. The living room/dining room/ and kitchen is a very open area and allowed lots of space for the kids to play on the rainy days. The sofa, rug, beds, etc were all clean. The pool was slightly heated so we were able to enjoy that even on the days it wasn't sunny. We would likely look at staying here again if we come back to this beach. "

This unit has recently been refurbished following a hurricane. The furniture, appliances, flooring and decor appear to be newer.Nice view of the gulf from the living room and bedroom. Access to the balcony from both rooms.Very clean and well stocked with all the amenities for an enjoyable stay. The office staff is friendly and helpful. We observed the maintenance staff always working to keep the property in good shape. Will be back."

"Excellent stay, great experience!
After making great time on a very long drive with 2 small children, we arrived early to the Fort Morgan area. We decided to stop and eat at the local Waffle House and call the condo community to see if we could potentially get in early. They bent over backwards and empathized with our drive and got us in within the hour. The condo was newly renovated and had everything we needed, including a very stocked kitchen. The ladies in the office and the maintenance gentlemen were friendly and answered any question I had. The office recommended Stewby’s for dinner and I do too! The pool area was neat and the beach is right there! The chair guy on the beach was awesome and accommodated all of our needs. We hope to be able to visit again next year!"
