Nautilus provides private beach access directly from the property to the public beach on Okaloosa Island. No street crossing is required to reach the beach.

- Beach Gear, Already Packed for You: No need to haul heavy gear from home - Nautilus 1605 comes equipped with two extra beach chairs, a cooler, and a beach tote.
- COMPLIMENTARY BEACH SERVICE: Beach service provided by our beach vendor includes two beach chairs and one umbrella with paid stays of 14 days or less from March 1 through October 31. Your setup is guaranteed, but the specific location on the beach is not.
- Vendor Rentals: Kayaks, paddleboards, extra setups and reserved locations can be rented directly from the vendor on the sand.

Payment and Cancellation Policy for booking direct through Nautilus Condominiums - If you booked through an online travel agent (AirBNB, VRBO, etc), the payment and cancellation policy of the platform applies. A $250 advance payment is required at the time of booking for a reservation to be valid. The final balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If we have not received another form of payment 30 days prior to your check-in date, your credit card will be charged automatically. Cancellation of rentals that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the total reservation amount. If renter must shorten their stay within 30 days of arrival or after checked in, no refunds will be provided for the nights not used. Long term guests (28 days or longer) - must pay 1st months rent 60 days prior to arrival and must cancel at least 60 days prior to arrival or will forfeit 100% of total reservation amount. We encourage guests to buy Travel Protection Insurance to protect themselves. Once you are within 30 days of check in there are no moving dates, nor moving units. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or cleaning and maintenance concerns. If present and reported, all cleaning or maintenance concerns will be corrected promptly.

"PERFECT ANNIVERSARY
We have stayed at Nautilus Condo's many times, first time at this condo, and we would definitely stay here again! Clean, comfortable, great porch chairs, beautiful view, love having an 'extra' powder room! Kitchen fully and well supplied. Even though we didn't use the beach chairs, towels, tote or cooler, it was nice that they provided these items!

Nautilus 1605 was everything we needed. Good space and layout for a 1BR condo. Great location right on the beach with a perfect view. Appreciated that the property management coordinates with the beach rental company to include a chair/umbrella setup in the price.
Especially appreciated was the friendly staff who helped to ensure we had what we needed, answered questions, and addressed any issues.
The island itself isn't incredibly walkable, but we're very excited to visit once the construction is complete and the greenway goes to Destin. Did enjoy being right on the coast, with easy access to explore Ft. Walton.
Would recommend to anyone visiting that area of town. "

For years we have been going to FWB and staying at Nautilus. This is the 3rd time that we have rented unit 1605 and it is awesome!!
You couldn't ask for a more perfect view of the beach and the gulf.
Unit 1605 is perfect for the two of us to get away from the hectic days of Atlanta, GA and just relax!!! The beach service during this time of year is wonderful! We enjoy the walk to the pier for tasty drinks and the walk to the Air Force beach property. You can literally walk for miles toward the west!! The condo is excellent, comfortable and very well equipted for cooking fresh seafood!!
We try to not tell too many folks about the area because we don't want for it to get too crowded!! If you are looking for a great place and area to spend a week or more this is the place you are looking for!
We hope to go back again in October, the best time of year to go to the gulf coast."

The condo was very clean and the views are great! We did run into a couple of issues. The mattress in the bedroom needs replaced, it is not comfortable and you can see that is indented from being used for so long. The sheets for the pullout couch were not dirty but did have a stain on them. I had clean blankets that I used instead for my kids. "

We arrived on a Friday night to the property. Condo appeared clean, aside from carpeting that needed replacing. Immediately, we were disappointed with our bath towel being rolled up on the shower floor. Also only two standard pillows were provided for a king sized bed. We woke up the next morning, and my husband was covered in flea bites. We counted 14 fleas on our bodies in the span of an hour. We killed three fleas to show proof to the property owner. The property owner seemed unfazed by our findings, and offered to refund the remainder of our nights that we didn’t stay for as long as we left right away. She would not refund the cleaning fee, even though we stayed less than 24 hours, and it obviously wasn’t clean in the first place. I asked again for at least a partial refund of the cleaning fee. She finally gave me a partial refund of the cleaning fee, but with an attitude. We left immediately. Location and view was nice, but I would not recommended staying here based off of a flea infestation, poor management, and poor customer service."

"Wonderful Condo
We came to Fort Walton to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary. We had never stayed in For Walton, but we quickly fell in love with the area and the absolutely beautiful beaches.
Our lovely condo just added some sweetness to it all. The condo was very nice and had a beautiful view. I am quite picky about where we stay when we go on vacation and this place did not disappoint.
Melissa in the front office was a sweetheart.
It would have been nice to physically meet the owners but of course that didn’t happen.
We booked the same condo for next year, this time, to celebrate # 44.
Can’t wait to go back !!!!"

Great location, staff and ease of renting. The sofa needs to be replaced. Very soiled and uncomfortable. A few cups were dirty. And the pot/pans were thrown in a pile in one cupboard-old ****** stuff. Balcony needed to be swept/washed. Everything worked and we would rent again if a deep cleaning and new sofa were there."

"Nautilus Condo Unit 1605 Review
We pretty much had a lovely stay at the 1605 Nautilus Condo. We were there to relax and enjoy the view and the beach and it was lovely. Didn't like the process of leaving a message for someone to call us back. Seemed like a really inefficient way to do business. The evenings from about 7-as late as midnight were loud with screaming kids in the hallways and still in the pool. Seemed to have no adult supervision. Would suggest better security at this time of night. Only a deadbolt on the door would have felt a lot more comfortable with an additional lock on the door from the inside.Elevator didn't work properly.All in all we loved our stay and will definitely book 1605 again.Very clean and wonderful beach decoration decor. Would love to know where owner got the large sand dollars on the a few of the walls."

"There during Hurricane Sally
We rode out hurricane Sally at the Nautilus. We lost power and had a bit of water intrusion, but I still give 5 stars due to one person. The morning after the hurricane, all of the bridges were closed so the only employee there was the GM - Cheryl, who lives on the property. She was amazing, going from condo to condo and checking on everyone. She was also being bombarded with calls from concerned property owners who were checking on their units. She worked her tail off and I never saw her discouraged - the Nautilus is in fantastic hands with Cheryl.
On top of that, the place has been renovated since my last visit with new sliding doors and windows; in addition to an overall exterior paint job. It really looks nice.
You can't beat the location with a very short walk to the beach and a Tom Thumb store in the adjacent parking lot."
