- COMPLIMENTARY BEACH SERVICE: Beach service provided by our beach vendor includes two beach chairs and one umbrella with paid stays of 14 days or less from March 1 through October 31. Your setup is guaranteed, but the specific location on the beach is not.

Payment and Cancellation Policy for booking direct through Nautilus Condominiums - If you booked through an online travel agent (AirBNB, VRBO, etc), the payment and cancellation policy of the platform applies. A $250 advance payment is required at the time of booking for a reservation to be valid. The final balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If we have not received another form of payment 30 days prior to your check-in date, your credit card will be charged automatically. Cancellation of rentals that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the total reservation amount. If renter must shorten their stay within 30 days of arrival or after checked in, no refunds will be provided for the nights not used. Long term guests (28 days or longer) - must pay 1st months rent 60 days prior to arrival and must cancel at least 60 days prior to arrival or will forfeit 100% of total reservation amount. We encourage guests to buy Travel Protection Insurance to protect themselves. Once you are within 30 days of check in there are no moving dates, nor moving units. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or cleaning and maintenance concerns. If present and reported, all cleaning or maintenance concerns will be corrected promptly.

Beach towels, beach chairs and unbrellas that were provided were wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked. Ample storage in bathrooms/bedrooms. Downfall - no restaurants within walking distance AND they close at 9:00 PM. Living room rug needs to be replaced - it is worn and a tripping hazard. Unit was as it appeared in pictures. We would stay again."

We had an overall great experience at the Nautilus. Beautiful views from the bedroom, living room, and balcony. The only issue was the outdoor chairs. The chairs were not stable because they are rusting. We still made the most of it and it didn't stop us from using them. The property was perfect for me and my family. We also enjoyed the pool! "

Our family of 4 was on a Spring Break trip and we we had booked a hotel for the entire time. Mid way through the trip we decided we needed more space & were able to book #2610. We LOVED it!! We had more space, more privacy, and a beautiful view of the beach from our balcony. The unit was clean, and had a fresh/updated look. It also had everything we needed for cooking! The pool was nice and not crazy busy, and the beach area was perfect. Having two chairs and an umbrella was also very nice!! We’re hoping to come back with more families next time."

We had an extremely nice visit to Ft. Walton Beach and the condo (2610) at The Nautilus was very nice. More than expected kitchenware available. All appliances were top of the line. Decor and beds were very nice also. The Nautilus property is well managed, and maintenance is available every day. Lots of restaurants in the area. Stewby's is an excellent seafood restaurant and less than a mile from the condo. I highly recommend condo 2610 and the Ft. Walton Beach area...."

"Nautilus Unit 2610 Review
We had a wonderful time on vacation. The Nautilus condo was one of the best we have stayed in. Everything we needed was included and there was more than plenty of room. The owner texted us with helpful information and was quick to respond to any questions. The entire condo and pool area were very clean. It didn't seem too crowded either. The first day of our stay we did run into one issue with the beach chair employee. He was extremely rude. Apparently we were not the only guests who experienced this. The next day there was a new employee and he was very polite and helpful. The fitted sheet on the master bed did not fit properly and kept coming off. We would suggest cleaning the floor well throughout the entire condo. Our feet were black after just a few minutes of walking around. Other than that, everything was great! We will definitely stay here again. "

"Just what We needed....
My wife and I were far spent from working, and absolutely needed a beach break. So, we really just jumped on the road to Destin, Ft. Walton area, because we’ve been before and figured we could just get a room for the nights we were there. All the hotels were booked up, and it was hard to find a reasonable spot. We secured a hotel by the beach for our 1st night, but I was able to secure this property for the next night. It was super big, spacious, and right off the beach. We were delighted by cleanliness of the unit, and the simplicity of checking in and out. The price was reasonable, and we wish we could’ve stayed longer in order to really benefit from the price and cleaning fee together. Thank you so much, and we’ll be back!"

"Missed the mark
The condo had damage from a storm over 3 months ago. Baseboards were missing or detached. Holes in parts of the wall. Drywall was missing with brown paper board duct taped up. The tv in the master bedroom didn’t work and there was a tv cable all over the floor. A few electrical receptacles didn’t have covers. I had to clean the sliding glass doors when we got there because they were dirty from the salt air. If I owned that unit I’d be embarrassed to rent it out in that condition. I’ll be fair though and say the location is great, the pool was heated and the property seemed generally very clean. "

"Disappointed in Cleanliness!!!
I have stayed at the Nautilus many times but this time the unit we reserved was absolutely NOT CLEAN AT ALL!!There was sand all over the floors, the sheets and pillow appeared dirty and one duvet cover had blood on the underside of it, the rugs were full of sand and hadn't been vacumed or shaken out, the bathtubs had hairballs in the drains and rings around the tubs. The glass in the sliding doors to the balcony were so dirty you couldn't see clearly through them.. I don't expect to have to spend 1 hour cleaning when I arrive for vacation. I am glad I didn't spend the extra $60 for the COVID 19 Spray disinfectant since I'm pretty sure it would NOT have been done! I spoke to the general manager who said they have been having complaints about the cleaning crew but wasn't offered a reimbursement of any money for the lack of cleaning.
If I were an owner here I would be VERY unhappy with the cleanliness of my property and how it is being handled."

Condo was extremely clean and very well equipped with everything you need. Do bring extra toilet tissue, laundry detergent, trash bags and dishwasher detergent. Easy walk to beach with sprayers to wash the sand off after, nice pool with shower too. Sliding door can be difficult to open and close. Bedrooms were nice size and beds were comfortable. Far enough from the Destin crowd but close enough to get to everything in a short amount of time. Ft. Walton amenities also very close. Convenience store right next door as well. Beach was never overcrowded and very clean. Overall, very nice unit. "

"Late spring getaway
1st time to visit Okaloosa Island Found condo on VRBO and was very pleased with Nautilus. Smaller complex with great beach access. Loved that the beach chairs were included. Unlike other condos the chairs are available around 6am. Our specific unit was pretty dated in terms of decor, furniture and appliances but everything was very clean and in working order. Beds were comfy but pillows need replacing.
The unit did not have a restaurant or bar area. Other than a convenience store next door it was a drive for grocery stores and restaurants. The complex did have two girls available for guests..
We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and will definitely stay again. Okaloosa Island and Nautilus may replace our usual Panama City Beach getaway."

"Best Condo We have EVER rented
We recently enjoyed a 4 night stay in Unit 2610. The condo is very spacious and the layout of the condo is the most efficient I've seen -- it was perfect for our family of 4. We didn't have to be right on top of each other all of the time! For a gulf "view" condo, it has an incredible view of the water from both living area and master bedroom. The unit is near elevators which made loading & unloading a breeze. The kitchen was adequately furnished. There were a generous amt. of towels provided which I appreciated; however, the washer/dryer provided was an added convenience that I was able to use for our beach towels and clothes. Pool was clean, staff was friendly. Very Close to a Publix and restaurants, and a short drive to Destin if you are up for that.(I personally liked that Okaloosa Island, both the traffic & the amt. of people on the beach, is less crowded). I can't say enough good things! We are already planning our next stay!"

"sun instead of snow!
we always enjoy staying at the nautilus. the staff is excellent, including the maintenance crew, and the location offers a quiet stay which is still close to the shopping and nightlife, if you want a short drive. this is the first time in this unit, and we wouldn't recommend it, mainly because of the living room furniture. old couch and chairs, very uncomfortable, hard wooden stools for the bar, and a small tv, such as you would find in a bedroom. the beds were comfortable at least. there were also no bathroom paper holders, so we went and bought one for our stay. (kind'of strange). other than that, we always love coming here and connecting with old friends we have made, next year we will be back. wishing for a hot tub!"

"Wonderful place to stay
We arrived late at night but had no problem with getting the things we needed to check in. Was pleasantly surprised with how nice the room and property was. Just a short walk to the beach where umbrellas and chairs were free to sit in. Also our room had beach equipment in it if we wanted to use it. The condo was super nice and the beds were comfy. Cant wait to stay here again. It was nice and quiet and the beach was not very crowded."

This condo is absolutely relaxing! We felt very comfortable. It is in a great location with beautiful views! The staff were very helpful and wonderful to work with in making the reservations! I would definitely recommend this to anyone! Will be back!!"
