Payment and Cancellation Policy for booking direct through Nautilus Condominiums - If you booked through an online travel agent (AirBNB, VRBO, etc), the payment and cancellation policy of the platform applies. A $250 advance payment is required at the time of booking for a reservation to be valid. The final balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. If we have not received another form of payment 30 days prior to your check-in date, your credit card will be charged automatically. Cancellation of rentals that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit 100% of the total reservation amount. If renter must shorten their stay within 30 days of arrival or after checked in, no refunds will be provided for the nights not used. Long term guests (28 days or longer) - must pay 1st months rent 60 days prior to arrival and must cancel at least 60 days prior to arrival or will forfeit 100% of total reservation amount. We encourage guests to buy Travel Protection Insurance to protect themselves. Once you are within 30 days of check in there are no moving dates, nor moving units. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, or cleaning and maintenance concerns. If present and reported, all cleaning or maintenance concerns will be corrected promptly.

"excellent unit
Corner unit with wonderful view of the beach. Great balcony and easily able to take stairs to unit from parking lot. Unit is well equipped with appliances & nice cookware. Only minor downside was sliding door from living room was stuck but we let the management know. This is our 2nd year at the Nautilus. They were pretty responsive anytime we've had issues. We intend to come back again next year to same unit."

"Amazing stay
We absolutely loved our stay at Nautilus condo 1206. It was amazing! The condo was large and spacious. It had everything we needed. The balcony view was spectacular! That was a huge bonus since the ocean conditions were not the best while we were there. So we got to sit on the balcony and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. The pool was definitely a bonus too. Parking was always easy also. The staff at the desk were very nice and helpful. We would love to stat here again! "

"Very happy overall
The unit was beautiful and mostly well equipped. We loved just sitting on the balcony watching the waves. My biggest complaint would be stop using so much bleach on the sheets. I have a lung condition, the 1st night I could not sleep in the bed due to the OVERWHELMING smell of bleach. It caused me to have such a bad attack I slept on the couch away from my husband. Then had to wash sheets so I could sleep the next night.
Having said that we would still come back, if possible. "

"Condo was perfect for my elderly parents!
My parents are both in their 80s and they love to be at the beach for vacation. This condo was clean, easy to access, close to the elevator, and faced the ocean. When I told management the Ice maker in fridge was broken, they brought us a bag of ice. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower and all rooms were very roomy. The balcony is HUGE and had enough tables and chairs for all four of us to sit and enjoy the sound of the waves and view of the beach. We would definitely stay here again! "

"Christmas family vacation at the beach
One daughter lives in Fort Walton, so the other daughter and we, her parents, rented two condos at Nautilus for the week. It was wonderful-the accommodations were just delightful, the kitchens were well appointed, the beds comfortable, the beach view spectacular, and the property management was kind and helpful. We have rented before and we will look forward to coming down and renting again. It's our favorite spot!"

"Overall nice time- could have been cleaner
We have enjoyed staying here the past couple years. The only hiccup this stay was that the condo did not appear to be cleaned very well before we arrived. The floors were dirty, and things had not been dusted in awhile. Housekeeping was gone for the day when we got there, but the property manager offered to send them the next morning. We ended up finding a vacuum cleaner in the condo and took care of the floors ourselves, and we were refunded $100. Overall we had a nice trip and hope to be back if the cleaning issue is resolved. "

"Worst condo I have ever stayed in!
The property is advertised as a luxury condominium with luxury prices. However it was not very clean. In addition it had bugs coming from the baseboards. When I spoke to the front desk one of the girls in the office informed me we do have bugs in Fl. Left 5 days early due to bugs, contacted them several times for a refund and they just kept blowing me off. Stay far far away. If I could give zero stars I would."

The location and view is fantastic. The unit 1206 was very nice--great finishes, very nicely decorated, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen (needs a tea kettle, though), 3 good quality TVs (we didn't really watch, but could have), nice master bathroom, lots of hangers, new stove, nice fridge, good dishwasher, nice towels. The beach is gorgeous. The property is very nice--one thing it definitely needs is new grills. The ones there are super old, rusty, heavy, charcoal!"

"Great location nice place to stay
We had a great stay at nautilus unit 1206. We loved the location, the setup, and the staff. We did need the maintenance guy to check out the fridge and when we called he was there in under 1 minute. The pool was really nice and open late. Our condo was a corner until that overlooked the beach and it’s as perfect. We did have a couple flaws but nothing that would stop us from staying again. We found a blood pressure pill on the floor that didn’t belong to us, a few things needed fixing like the shower curtain and rod, the bed in the second bedroom was very wobbly and uncomfortable, and the unit above us was under construction. But that wouldn’t stop us from staying again. We were hoping the two balcony’s were one and would be accessible from the second bedroom and they were two separate balconies. Overall we had a great stay!"

"Not what I expected
In the past I always stayed in the Nautilus condo's when on vacation. It has been about 5 years since I have vacationed here and it has gone down hill. When we arrived the ice machine wasn't working, the dish washer wasn't working, and both bathroom shower curtain rods were falling off the wall. The view of course is absolutely wonderful. The beds were very comfortable also. We were just super afraid something was going to break while we were there. The staff was very courteous and sent someone to look at our ice machine and dish washer while we were there. We didn't have a terrible stay but will choose somewhere else next time. I just feel it wasn't worth what I paid for."

"Cockroaches
The room was very nice and comfortable and the view was amazing! Our family truly enjoyed the huge wrap around porch. However, on the 2nd night we noticed a few visitors and each day we were there it got worse. They were in the fridge, cabinets, bathroom, etc. We made the property owner aware of this and they offered to move us to discount our stay since there were no other rooms available for the remainder of the week. They also called Florida pest control and had them spray our room. We informed them upon departure that the room was most definitely infested and they should avoid renting it out to anyone else until the problem is exterminated. We have stayed at this property several times over the last few years and this was the first time we have ever had a problem. I hope they can get this bug problem under control because we would love to come back, just maybe not stay in 1206 again! "

"Property and clientele have gone downhill
Sub par facilities, other guests yelling and cursing at each other in the parking lot upon our arrival, the tenants below our unit smoked weed constantly, heavy police presence noted around the facility (as in bad part of town presence) not friendly patrols. Will not take my children back to this condo. "

"Excellent beach getaway!
Had a great experience at the Nautilus. We stayed here in early July 2020. Unit 1206 had updated furniture and modern decor. This unit is located on the 2nd floor and looks out over the dunes with a fabulous view of the ocean. There was easy stair access and we never had to use the elevator. This unit is located on the side next to the public beach access. Loved this location as we were far enough away from Destin so that the beach wasn't crowded, but we were still close to restaurants and grocery stores. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The perfect View
We almost always stay at the Nautilus and it is always perfect! This year was no different! We took a chance and stayed on the second floor this time, usually staying on the 3rd or 4th. I’m so glad we did! This was by far our favorite!!! Loved it and can’t wait to be back!! The management team was also very helpful with any questions we had!!"
