This condo has a great balcony that is close enough to the beach to hear the waves at night. During the day, you may catch a glimpse of the Blue Angels flying over on practice days. If you are Blue Angel fans, be sure to check out the nearby Naval Aviation Museum. The front gate to Gulf Shores National Seashore is a short distance (less than 3/4 of a mile) from the resort. Johnson Beach has lifeguards, park rangers, restrooms, pavilions and charcoal grills. The wonderful part about this beach treasure is the 8 miles of undeveloped, natural beach on both the gulf side and the Intracoastal's quiet water side of the island. It is a beautiful reminder that not every beach is overdeveloped and bustling. Perdido Key is a relaxing, laid back beach for those who love nature and simple pleasures like squeaky sand beaches, an endless blue horizon and how the sky turns cotton candy colors when the sun starts to set.
The boardwalk to the beach is just across the side street and gives guests direct access to a slice of paradise. Public Beach Access 1 is a very short walk away. This access is home to one of Escambia County's man made snorkel reefs built by a county wide reef program and is a secret spot for very strong swimmers and experienced divers. Shopping, dining and spa experiences are located very close-by in Villagio Towne Center. Downtown Pensacola and Orange Beach are short drives away for more shopping, dining and attractions. Bring your kayak and bikes! Enjoy the miles of safe sidewalks along Perdido Key Drive. There is a nearby Kayak launch on River Road if you wish to explore the west end of the Intracoastal or Ole River. You can launch at Gulf Islands National Park if you are interested in the east end of the ICW.
The bedroom offers a comfortable Queen sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with a tub /shower combo. The floorplan flows towards the balcony off of the welcoming living area.
