Inside, the open living area showcases oversized light tile flooring and a comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa for additional guests. A coordinating accent chair and coastal décor create a warm Floridian ambiance, while a handsome media cabinet houses a large TV for relaxing evenings. The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking for the whole family easy, with everything you need to prepare and enjoy delicious meals. The master bedroom suite offers tasteful furnishings, a king-size bed, and direct access to a full bathroom. A second bathroom with a walk-in shower is conveniently located off the hall, near the twin bunk beds tucked into a cozy hallway alcove. This well-appointed condo comfortably accommodates up to six guests, making it perfect for couples, families, or a fun beach getaway.

Pelican Isle is a 100% non-smoking property, except in designated areas.
The pool is heated the week of Thanksgiving and beginning the week of Christmas until March 31st.

The 100% cancellation loss can be avoided if: (1) Red Sky rental vacation insurance was purchased and the reason for cancellation is a reason covered under the travel insurance; or (2) Brooks and Shorey Resorts can re-rent the unit for the full term of the original rental period, in which case the guest will be charged 10% of the total paid as rebooking fee. Prior to arrival, if a guest has to shorten their stay or change their unit, normal cancellation penalties may apply, whether they are insured or not. Refunds issued by Brooks and Shorey Resorts will be issued no more than 30 days after departure date of original stay. Refunds are payable to the guest within 30 days after the subsequent re-rent payment has cleared our account.

"Good vacation spot
I've stayed at Pelican Isle before and have enjoyed it in the past but feel like it's slipping in cleaning and maintenance. When we went to use the blender the day after we got there the base was cracked and we couldn't use it. We borrowed a friend's from next door but then the shelf in the freezer cracked and when we went to use the dryer it smelled like something was burning. We called maintenance and someone came out but said nothing was wrong. There were not many dishes or things for cooking. Just seems like things have not been maintained."

"Wonderful Vacation
We loved our location. I liked how it was in a quiet area but if you wanted to travel a few minutes down the road you could visit the tourist attractions but they weren’t right in our face. The sand library was amazing where there are boogie boards and toys available for visitor use. The maintenance people were all very helpful. "

"212 Review
Overall the unit was nice and I have only minor comments/complaints: The toilet seats were loose, the blender was broken, the stove had two cooktop elements that did not work and the tv remotes were not completely functioning/partially broken.
The patio sliding glass door was difficult to open/close, which was actually good in keeping our kids off the balcony. The bed in the master bedroom was not very comfortable.
Other than that, we could tell it was pretty quickly cleaned prior to our stay. The entertainment center was moved away from the wall a bit and there were still piles of sand and dust in a few spots that did not get swept up."

We loved our stay! Everything from the luggage carts making unloading easy to the clean condo with a beautiful view was perfect. The condo was clean and conveniently located with a few essentials stocked like toilet paper and dishwasher tabs. The staff was incredibly friendly and I would definitely return!"

"Fantastic vacation experience
We drove from Texas with 4 kids, ranging from 13 years old to 18 months. Communication was excellent from the property manager from start to finish. Place was clean and fully furnished which was extra nice. View was absolutely amazing! We did have a disposal and microwave issue while there, but the property manager responded and resolved immediately. We would fully recommend this property."

"Perfect Spring Break
PI 212 was a perfect condo for a family of 3 or 4. It was very clean with ample bath towels for the 2 bathrooms. Having the 2 beach chairs and umbrella is a winner. We took advantage of the 2 free DVDs each night as well. All employees that we came across were not only friendly but helpful with tips on how to enjoy the condo and amenities to the fullest. We will be back."

"Perfect Getaway Spot
We've stayed at other properties and beaches along the Gulf of Mexico. This is by far my favorite. Very close to Destin, but without all the crowds. The room was as described; very clean and right on the beach! My son loved the 2 tvs that accompanied each bunk bed. We also enjoyed all the perks that came with our stay: free beach service, free movie rental on site, and discounts on activities. I would recommend this property to couples and small families. "

"1 year anniversary
We booked this condo after having to cancel our trip to Jamaica due to finding out we were expecting our first child! Needless to say, we were saddened about our trip, but very excited about our new addition. While not quite comparing to Jamaica, this condo was the next best thing this side of the Gulf!! Condo was super cute and cozy! Everything was perfect! It's off the beaten path so to speak, not right next to all the attractions which makes it very peaceful! Everything is within a 5-10 minute drive. Will definitely go back! "

"Perfect week at the beach!
This condo is adorable, which I knew from the pictures. However, I was still in awe of the ocean view. Watching waves from the kitchen and living room was amazing. The decor is so cute and cozy. I was very comfortable and felt right at home from the moment we entered. The condo was ready before 4 which was very impressive. The amenities, the view, and the condo were awesome. You can't help but have a great experience here. The only reason that I didn't rate it a 5-star is because the internet didn't work, the dryer would not dry clothes and desk personal's hours were crazy, no one was ever there to give you help. "

"We got exactly what we signed for. Very good value rental.
Pros: Location. All appliances in 100% operational conditions(A/C, kitchen, TV's, dishwasher, laundry etc.). Indoor parking. Clean. Management quick to solve any problem. Two spacious bathrooms. You can't ask for a better view. Free access to beach seats and umbrella every day.
Cons: Master bedroom mattress too soft. We had some issues with the Wi-Fi. Bunk beds good enough for 6 year olds or younger. The apartment is appropriate to hold a family of 5 or six (two adults and three small children). It felt crowded for a family of 5 with teenagers.
The apartment is located in the Okaloosa Island (Fort Walton is close enough to Destin (8 miles) where many attractions, restaurants and shops are located, but far enough from the crowds and the non-stop traffic of route 98. We were not looking for a resort feeling and we find this location perfect for that purpose.
Overall, we do recommend this property for a beach vacation for a family of 4 or 5 with small children."

"A room with a View
I would highly recommend this place. The staff was always there to answer questions and address concerns. Overall the place was nice. The only thing I would change with this unit is the mattress and pillows in the bedroom. My kids did not care for the bunk beds and ended up sleeping on the pull out bed. The kitchen was well equipped and the unit met most of our needs. Overall, we were happy and we will be back! "

This Condo was so perfect for our family. My little one loved the bunk bed and was able to make it her little hide out! The view was outstanding and we got to see Dolphins in the distance! Thank you for everything we had no complaints! We left a sand bucket for families to enjoy, hope that was ok. Our other favorite was having the parking spot in the garage, thank you!

Upon arrival we were very satisfied with our location on the beach and proximity to restaurants and shops. The reserved parking garage was convenient and the pool and grounds were very well maintained. These condos are right on the beach and the ocean and sand were breathtaking! Our unit was perfect for our small family of 4 and well decorated. I expect to find some stray sand, but it would have been nice if the unit was cleaned a little better after the previous guests. This was a spectacular condo and we will consider renting again the next time we visit ft. Walton Beach again!"

Clean and view was great. It was very relaxing and the customer service was great. The only thing to watch out for is going out the sliding glass door, has a metal plate 4" high you have to step over. stumped my toe a couple of times. I was the only thing I didn't like about the place. "

I did like this vacation rental very clean and decorated well. There was only two complaints I had on this rental the first being the size of the bed yes it does say queen but it was just very small and uncomfortable. The second was the fact that on the beach they basically force you to rent a chair and umbrella, they leave no space for the people that bring there on beach umbrella and chairs so they don't have to spend the extra $25 a day for rental. "

I can only think of positive things to say! The condo was clean and spacious and well decorated (I loved the beach cottage style). The kitchen was well supplied, and there were tons of linens. (OK, one negative. We slept in the living room to take advantage of the water view, and the sofa bed is not that comfortable.) The extra perks were great---free golf, free netflicks, and others during the season. Check-in was easy and everyone we dealt with was extremely nice. It is a great time of year to be on Okaloosa Island. "

We thought PI room 212 was great! We enjoyed the condo very much, it was clean and had everything we needed. Well except a bottle opener so we bought one and left it there! If you would like a condo with beach/ocean views in a quieter setting then this is an excellent site. Stores and restaurants are within 10 minute drive. Our stay was the end of April and first of May. The beach was not crowded and the setting offered the relaxation and less populated experience we desired. Staff was helpful and professional. "Great condo, rotten weather
The condo was very nicely furnished and clean. My kids loved the flat screen TVs at the end of each bunk. We had very cold, rainy weather in April so the free movies and two DVD players were great. The beach is beautiful and the chair service is so convenient particularly if you fly and cannot bring your own chairs and umbrellas. It was also nice to have the under cover parking spot for the rainy days. Most of the attractions and restaurants are in Destin but it's only a short drive and we went there every night. "Great stay
My husband and I stayed for a week and thought the condo unit, amenities and management to be great. There was an issue with our wireless connection and the manager spent considerable time fixing the problem and we had no issues for the remainder of the stay. It was great customer service and we appreciated his time."

"Great Gettaway
We needed the condo for a quick trip to the beach. The rental agency was very efficient and helpful. The condo itself was very nice, and clean, and the location offered a beautiful view of the beach.
The only con would be the mattress in the master bedroom was uncomfortable. "

"Happy Vacationers
Everything we saw online was what we experienced - from the view of the beach to the pool downstairs. The kids loved the built in bunk beds and the tv/dvd players in each.We liked having our own in our bedroom. The short walk to the beach and the chairs with umbrellas were the best!"

The staff at Brooks and Shorey are great! From the people handling the reservation process, the friendly young woman at the front desk whom provides the check in and out and all the questions we ask her during the week, and the cleaning and maintenance staff. Location was great, away from all the busy activities and traffic, but close to groceries and restaurants. A great place for families! The room was very nice and clean. It could use a larger ceiling fan in the bedroom, to help circulate the air better. The bed was comfortable.
We would stay here again! "

Would definetly request to stay in this condo again! Decor and kitchen supplies were very nice. Updated and a very fun and relaxful setting. The first part of our vacation was in the same condos but different unit managed by Beacon. Would not recommend Beacon at all."

"Most Enjoyable
We had a very enjoyable stay at Pelican Isle unit 212. We enjoyed having the beach service without having to pay for it, that was a great plus. The view was great especially to be on the 2 level. We also enjoyed the reserved parking that came with our unit, very convenient. The staff was very accommondating and very friendly. The unit was very comfortable and clean. A very updated unit as compared to some we have used in the past. Would highly recommend Brooks & Shorey Resorts."

"Nice rooms & view
Property was nice & rooms were great! Views are fantastic! Only bad part was someone broke into my car on the 1st night, out in the open under a light-crazy... Thankfully they didn't get away with to much, but enough!So make sure you take all car chargers,
head phones, sun glasses, and makeup bags out of your car. "

Very nice condo. We enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean, simple and tastefully furnished. The entry door with its magnetic pass key entry was difficult to operate and required us to get our keys reset repeatedly. I'd also suggest a slightly larger kitchen trash can and a place to keep it other than the middle of the kitchen floor. The kitchen should be supplied with dishwasher detergent; especially if you want the renter to run it when they leave. There should also be an ample supply of trash can liners for the kitchen trash can."

"Beautiful vacation!!
The condo was nicely decorated and right on the beach. Bright, cheery and relaxing! Staff was helpful. Bring a fan if you want to use the bunkbeds. It is very stuffy in the little bunk cubby, and we had to go buy a fan. Everything was extremely clean except the tile floors were a little dirty. Otherwise, it was a great vacation property. I would highly recommend, and I hope to come back soon!!"
