Cancellations: As an initial deposit, we take 50% of the reservation total at the time of your booking. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card on file 60 days prior to your arrival date.
Should you need to cancel prior to final payment (60+ days prior to arrival date), you will receive a full refund of your initial deposit.
Cancellations made after final payment (within 60 days of arrival date), are not eligible for refund. You are financially responsible for the entire amount of the reservation less cleaning and pet fees. Please consider purchasing travel insurance in order to be eligible for reimbursement of non-refundable prepaid travel expenses.
Refunds: Conditions beyond our control i.e. weather, road conditions, power outage, government mandated travel restrictions, TV outage, phone outage, Wifi outage, Hot tub problems or guest emergencies do not constitute a basis for refunds.

The black nest is a magical place. Perfectly appointed in everyway, felt of luxury, comfort, and attention to detail. Everything we needed was there and some things we didnt know we would so enjoy. We will be back!"

"Great location for a weekend away
My partner and I spent a long weekend at The Black Nest, and overall I would recommend it for its great location and proximity to Guerneville and all of the associated activities. The cottage is just down the road from Guerneville and very easy to run into town for groceries or shopping. It’s also very close to a nice river beach which makes it extremely easy to get all of your gear down to the beach to be able to relax. The cottage is definitely small - I think fitting four people would be a bit of a challenge, but the outside areas around the cottage are great for relaxing and enjoying the sounds of nature. The hot run was wonderful as well.
Overall, the place could do with a bit of a deeper clean. While we are in the woods, the sky lights and beams in the ceiling are covered with cobwebs. Additionally, the bath mat was dirty when we arrived. Lastly, the front gate does not latch all the way so we had to use a rock to keep it closed while we were home
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and would probably come back and stay here myself as well. "

Had a great time at The Black Nest. Great space, plenty to do at the house and locally in the town. Easy drive to the 1 to explore the Coast. Awesome shops, restaurants, and people around! We will be coming back!"

"Weekend Getaway
We live in San Jose and visited for the weekend. We were immediately struck with how beautiful and well appointed this rental was. Everything was decorated very nicely and we enjoyed every minute. We had a down pour of rain while there, but don't let that make you decide not to go. We enjoyed our wine and the hot tub even while it was raining because they thoughtfully covered the hot tub area with a canopy. Highly recommend staying here!"

The Black Nest stay was simply amazing. The home had everything needed for our getaway. So cozy. The neighborhood was so beautiful. The environment was so peaceful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and everything was so simple and easy to get into the home and begin our vacation. The location is amazing!
