Cancellations: As an initial deposit, we take 50% of the reservation total at the time of your booking. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card on file 60 days prior to your arrival date.
Should you need to cancel prior to final payment (60+ days prior to arrival date), you will receive a full refund of your initial deposit.
Cancellations made after final payment (within 60 days of arrival date), are not eligible for refund. You are financially responsible for the entire amount of the reservation less cleaning and pet fees. Please consider purchasing travel insurance in order to be eligible for reimbursement of non-refundable prepaid travel expenses.
Refunds: Conditions beyond our control i.e. weather, road conditions, power outage, government mandated travel restrictions, TV outage, phone outage, Wifi outage, Hot tub problems or guest emergencies do not constitute a basis for refunds.

"Great place
We enjoyed our stay at Vino Velo. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. There were limited cleaning supplies and a dishrag to wipe counters would be a good addition. The tub in the shower didn't drain well when we got there, but once I called, it was taken care of within a couple of hours and the shower was great once it was repaired. "

"Perfect Charm by the River
A great property and location to enjoy some down time with friends. With a grill and hot tub, and some local wine picked up during the day, we couldn’t ask for anything more. From initial booking to departure, the operating team was responsive to every inquiry. No regrets!"

"Russian River Redwood Treehouse
It is a cute redwood cottage but needs the final level of care. The humidifier was leaking water all over the wood floor when we arrived. Maintenance was called and Bill came out Sunday night, and after 2 hours was able to fix it. All the house flashlights and battery candles were dead, and the other kitchen humidifier was full of water and needed to be poured out. The pots and pans need to be updated to be serviceable to cook, and there was NO COFFEE anywhere! All the cabinets are full of stuff, with no room to put your food items. For a quick weekend stay it might be ok, but if you want to cook it is not. The 17 steps up to the house are fine, but the road parking is not safe. We expect more from our VRBO rentals."

"Rio Nido Cycling Weekend
Wine Country to Coast was very accommodating for our last minute rental. We checked in seamlessly the same day we reserved the house. The house was as pictured on the website. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, and an accessible garage. The garage was great for storing our bikes. The driveway is steep and narrow, and just barely accommodated our mid size pick up truck. The neighborhood/street feels safe , but many of the other houses are unsightly. The rental was the nicest house on the street."

Hot tub was not hot our entire stay even after attempts to fix. A lot of the lure is to come relax in the hot tub with surroundings and that just never happened for us.
No privacy in second bedroom
There’s stuff crammed into every drawer, cabinet and closet and it just messy and disorganized
Patio furniture was wet so couldn’t use
Four towels were left, none for the hot tub
Bbq is disintegrating
On top of the neighbors and their homes are pretty run down and full of junk outside
Bike tires flat, pumped up and went flat again on our ride, always fun "

"We LOVE this place!
We LOVE this place! Everything spells happiness and fun. Quiet and beautiful in the woods.
We had our family over for soup and salad and they also loved the place. The beds are great, it's warm and cozy.
The kitchen is perfect! So many supplies to cook with and serve.
We will be back! It's on our vacation spot when we visit family in Sebastopol and Graton and Forestville.

"What a fabulous place - even in a winter storm!
We took our three kids to this great cabin in Guerneville and had an amazing stay. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we had enough sleeping space for all 5 of us. The cabin is secluded so you feel totally taken away from the world which was nice. The game room was a huge plus for the kids. It poured raining but we made the best of it and did a couple of day excursions. The staff at Wine Country to Coast were so nice and patient. We called a couple of times with questions and everyone we spoke to was accommodating and kind. We can’t wait to go back when we have better weather!"

"Cabin Nestled among Trees
Vino Velo is a great for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The property pictures and descriptions are accurate. We are digital nomad’s exploring the country. There is only one thing that would have made the property perfect, having a dedicated work space. "

"Poor Quality for price, and not well kept
So we were very excited to stay here, upon arrival the place was very welcoming, upon entering the place was very cold, so we were very uncomfortable for the first hour until someone came to assist with relighting the pilot to the heating system. The place warmed and was pleasant until we noticed how poorly kept everything was. For the price we payed this is completely unacceptable. The walls were filthy (i have pics) and glasses and plates were dirty, and the worst and most disgusting thing was a duvet covered in blood!! Obviously there was some kind of bed bug problem and seemed to be just masked as opposed to being fixed. We had booked through Marriott and we are requesting a refund, this is very poor property management! We are appalled that this is how your properties are kept."

"Smallish rental in Rio Nido
Not having stayed in Rio Nido previously, we did not know what to expect. The cottage was in good shape, but the neighborhood is rundown and the road poorly maintained. Pros - the cottage was clean, and the neighborhood quiet and peaceful. The deck was pleasant, and we enjoyed the propane firepit/table. The kitchen was well equipped.
However, the cottage was much smaller than expected, and the full bath extremely tiny. There is no closet in the main bedroom, and the only other closet was full of stuff, making it hard to hang clothing. The hottub was clean and warm, but has seen better days. The jets did not function with much force, making it not a great hot tub experience. We did not believe this was a malfunction, as the buttons that control the tub are quite worn - it just seems old.
There is not much area to eat indoors, as there is only one dining table which is outside. The view from the front deck (pictured here) is of the neighbors trash collection of broken down washing machines and bicycles. As a airbnb host myself, I feel the description did not meet expectations. I would not rent that property again."

This location had everything we needed. Nestled in the trees, the location was quiet and yet a quick drive to the river brought us to the activities we were looking for. The hot tub was very well maintained and surrounded by redwoods. The bikes were ready to go in the garage! This was a top notch experience."

"Lovely Stay
I had a small group of teens and we had a wonderful time! The property management company were responsive and accommodating to our last minute request. There’s a lot to do from the game room, hot tub and relaxing in the cozy house. I made it clear the rules and quiet hours and the teens did not disappoint. We brought a piñata down to the dog park area and a few very friendly local people helped us secure it on a tree branch and laughed as we tried to break it open. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"Great stay for family with dog
The cottage was cozy and comfortable with lots of amenities. Rio Nido is a nice little community in the Redwoods. We brought our large dog. There is not a yard, so be prepared to walk the dog to do its business. There was a fenced dog park just a 5 minute walk from the cottage. There was also a playground, a picnic area and mini golf, but it was raining so can't rate those. Our kids are 20 and 15 and we enjoyed the game room in the garage and the hot tub. I would hesitate to stay here with small kids because there is no dining table, only barstools for the island counter. The Rio Nido Roadhouse was within walking distance and would be awesome in the warmer months with its outdoor tables, food, drinks, large grassy area and swimming pool. The food was decent but it was a bit chilly sitting outside, even with the propane heaters. Guerneville is a short drive and has restaurants, small shops, art gallery, etc. One possible issue with the location of the cottage--it sits at the top of a rather steep, narrow road. If you have mobility issues it would be very hard to walk anywhere from the cottage. Even our SUV had troubles getting up the hill and the parking spot is very tight. If you bring a large vehicle it is better to park in the spot at the start of the court."

"Well appointed, quiet, and relaxing - amazing deck and hot tub
We really enjoyed our time at Vino Velo. The house was chock full of amenities and the property is well laid out. The place seems much larger than it is. The deck was my favorite feature and we spent most of the time BBQing and relaxing in the hot tub. The house was super clean and also way more modern than I expected, which was a nice surprise. We will definitely be staying again."

"Lil' Charmer
This cottage is appointed with all that you could need for a getaway. We didn't use the hot tub or game room so I cannot speak to those, but everything else seemed well maintained. The bedding was comfortable and the espresso machine was much appreciated.
Parking is tight in this neighborhood and even more so on this street so something to be aware of if you have a larger vehicle. Where the bikes are pictured is the only parking area. We made it work parallel parking a small SUV, but our F150 was too large to drive to the home.
Note to the rental agency: There is no longer a 2nd parking space available. The other property we were directed to park at per the home's binder/signage was sold. We were told by the new owner and a neighbor that we could not park there. "

"Great place to stay for a quite get away
Pros: House was cute and has everything you could need. The game room in the garage was very neat plenty of activities to pass time. The deck was beautiful with wonderful furniture and hot tub. (Wish the hot tub was a little hotter) but still very pleasant. The views of the trees surrounding the area are pretty dawn till dusk. There is one parking spot and a over flow parking section only a two minute walk away from the house. The lighting and ambiance of the house is relaxing. The beach is almost less than 30 mins away which was convenient. Getting to the location was fairly easy as well.
Cons: One bedroom had glass window doors that has a sheer see through curtain over it which isn’t very good for privacy had to makeshift some privacy with some towels. Some of the cookware seemed a little dirty but nothing we could easily reclean real quick. For us the staircase up to the front door wasn’t to much of a problem but unfortunately it would not be suitable for people who cannot get up stairs as there is no other way in that we could see at least. It is awfully close to the other neighbors that live there full time so you cannot be noisy after 930 so not good if you plan on celebrating late.

It was a cozy home with all the things you would need for a good vacation. It had a VERY well equipped kitchen which I appreciated and made use of. The staff was helpful and I was so happy to hear that there is even a restaurant that delivers! Super fun place to spend a week"

"Just what we needed
From the moment we walked in, we felt comfortable. We were two adults, two sixteen-year-olds, and one eleven-year-old. The beds and bedrooms were spacious.The youngest slept on the pull out couch and was very comfortable. We loved the decor (we are avid mountain bikers)! The game room in the garage area was used each day.The kitchen was well-stocked. There were even extra spices and miscellaneous items. We especially loved the coffee maker and espresso machine. Of the 4 nights we stayed, we used the grill nice to have that option!
Now that we are home, we miss sitting outside on the patio/deck with a glass of wine by the fire in the still of the evening. The hot tub was also used each evening. It was so peaceful to sit and soak under the redwoods. "

"Clean and nicely decorated.
Overall a nice stay. Note that the unit has only 1 full bath. The other is a half. The decorations in the unit are cute. Updated kitchen and comfy beds. The unit didn’t have enough towels and although we called the manager, none were delivered. There was also an issue with the espresso machine which we reported - they did not provide a replacement. Also, parking is challenging as the unit is up a very steep, old country road. Only 1 car can park at the top of the hill. The other car parks at the bottom. "

"Great Home in Woods
Vino Velo is a great rental for a couple or group of 4. The layout of the home is open and allows for everyone to relax and interact between the kitchen and family room (great furniture layout). It is decorated lovely both inside and out. The owners have thought of every detail.... expresso machine, wine aerator to the hot tub and fire pit. Having stayed in several rentals in the area I would say it is above the average. The one thing occupants need to be aware of is cell service was VERY limited (to non-existent) at the home even if Verizon is your carrier. The home does have internet and you can connect to it. If you are looking to disconnect ... then no problem. Would recommend to a friend and would return. Management company was great to work with too - no problems/hassles. Provided great information about the area - attractions, restaurants, etc. "

"IRONMAN TRIP
Vino Velo is amazing. My husband and I were in town for an IRONMAN race and wanted to stay a little between the start and finish. Vino Velo was the perfect location and near Guerneville which is the cutest little town. The host were perfect, the house was even prepared and ready for our arrival. Nice touches having the basket of snacks, for once a fridge that had items needed and the bathrooms had the perfect essentials. The highlight of course was the hot tub and the grill outside were we got to cook our dinners instead of eating out every night. We had a wonderful trip and will def be back! "

"VinoVelo family vacation
Our family was interested in visiting the region above San Fransisco with our two kids and grandma who joined us from Minnesota. The various sites did a great job at highlighting the beauty of the Russian River. I came across VinoVelo and was sold both for its size, convenience, comfort and the fact that it had a few games to entertain the kids on some down time. We were super pleased with the home. It met all our needs, it was clean, comfortable and had great kitchen amenities for cooking and convenient proximity to everything . Best of all it was wrap around Redwoods We would most definitely return in the future."

"Clean and well appointed
We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very clean and it was easy and manageable with two small kids. The location is not ideal and I would not stay here again because of its location. There isn't anything to walk to and the area isn't that inviting for small children. The management is very nice and friendly and they were helpful when we first couldn't find the house, since we had arrived at night. "

"quite and wonderful
We had a wonderful stay at Vino Velo (two couples) great place to share meals and friendship amongst the redwoods , after a day on the river canoeing we found the hot tub to be most peaceful and a great relaxing tools for us busy Bay Are folks , this rental was clean, well stocked with kitchen supplied to prepare any meal, the surrounding neighbor hood is very quite, redwoods trees all around. I would return to this place again "

"New House
I enjoyed the area but would suggest a change to the sofa as that has to be the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I have sat on. I think the house is beautiful decorated and I love the side yard. The parking situation is a little cumbersome but the neighbors were very friendly and we worked it out. For a new house it is fantastic as people start to leave spices and sugar you will have a well stocked Kitchen as well. Loved the hot tub and the fire table. "
