Cancellations: As an initial deposit, we take 50% of the reservation total at the time of your booking. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card on file 60 days prior to your arrival date.
Should you need to cancel prior to final payment (60+ days prior to arrival date), you will receive a full refund of your initial deposit.
Cancellations made after final payment (within 60 days of arrival date), are not eligible for refund. You are financially responsible for the entire amount of the reservation less cleaning and pet fees. Please consider purchasing travel insurance in order to be eligible for reimbursement of non-refundable prepaid travel expenses.
Refunds: Conditions beyond our control i.e. weather, road conditions, power outage, government mandated travel restrictions, TV outage, phone outage, Wifi outage, Hot tub problems or guest emergencies do not constitute a basis for refunds.

"Sanctuary-food for the soul
The Redwood Retreat is just as described. Nestled within a lovely community the privacy of this home is perfect. Fully equipped home, lovely raised deck with furniture to sit and read under the Redwoods, BBQ, Hot tub, claw foot bath tub, fully equipped for your enjoyment. Short walk to the Russian River. Could not be more happy. Thank you Stacy and Jim and team for the personal support and experience of the Redwood Retreat. We will be back. :)"

"Lovely location and property
We loved redwood retreat! The house is surrounded by beautiful redwoods. We spent the majority of our time on the deck but the inside was well appointed. Everything we needed to use was clean. The walls could use a once over every so often since it is so woodsy. The bedrooms are small but that was perfectly fine for us. We loved waking up with the sun. The sheets could use some upgrading and we would have liked 2 towels per person given the length of our stay. We traveled with our kids and they go to bed at around 8/8:30 so we did not have any issues with noise. Overall wonderful stay. "

The property was even better in person than the photos! It had been updated very tastefully, while keeping the cabin's charm. Easy walk to the river. Very nice outdoor space. Beautiful redwood trees right in the front yard. Loved the hot tub!"

"Wonderful little house - great deck and hot tub
We had a lovely time atvRedwood Retreat- the house was updated and well maintained. We loved grilling on the deck and enjoying the hot tub under the redwoods! The local beach is a little bit rocky for wading in the water with small kids - but overall a great location close to town ! The property manager was very responsive."

"Peaceful Retreat
We loved that the location was both peaceful and convenient to Guerneville and the Russian River. I stepped outside the door every morning to giant Redwoods, and I couldn't be happier. The space was clean, the kitchen was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, and the hot tub was phenomenal. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely book again in the future."

"Wonderful relaxing retreat!
This was such a relaxing trip, just what we needed.
The cabin had a nice deck and we used the hot tub every evening. Perfect space for my husband and I along with our old dog.
Walking distance to river. Minutes from town & grocery store.

This sweet red cabin in the woods exceeded all expectations!! What a special surprise to have the lights on and a few treats waiting for us.
The cabin is so charming. Everything was perfect.
We loved every minute of it. And made some great memories. Loved checking out Guerneville and the surrounding areas. Loved being able to walk down to the river. The big porch under the giant red woods made a for a great nap.
I would give it 10 stars if I could!!! I highly recommend this property. "

"Cozy Getaway
The house was very cute and comfortable. We were very close to the river. Hiking and the beach were only a short drive away. The home had everything we needed and the hot tub was a treat. We would recommend Willow Creek for hiking and Goat Rock Beach for hanging out and enjoying the sunset. Baked by the River had yummy breakfast items and coffee."

I rented this cabine for my parents anniversary. They said it was very relaxing the only thing was the construction going on next door it started at 8:00 am with loud machines and my pops had to go from sitting on the deck reading a book to inside with the doors and windows closed . Other than that they loved it "

"Aptly named redwood retreat house
The Redwood retreat was more of a boat-tree-house. Built on stilts, as all the houses in this redwood neighborhood are, and built amongst gloriously tall redwoods. During the rains it felt like we were rocking back and forth on a dream sea deep in the forest. There is river access only blocks away in a diverse neighborhood.
The occasional power outages made our stay very quiet as the usual electric hum of home appliances (fridge) were silenced which we liked.
Overall everything was clean and not overly scented. There's extra pillows and plenty of comfortable seating, the beds too were comfortable. Our stay was pleasant.

Wonderful property management company and beautiful property! This is the perfect weekend getaway spot. Clean and comfortable inside, with redwoods, pear tree and hot tub in backyard. You really never have to leave. We had a couple day trips but mostly stayed at the property. 5 minute drive to Downtown Guerneville for take out or groceries. I would recommend this property if you’re looking to get away and relax. "

"Better places in town. Better management companies.
Out of towners, just know in advance that this place has no air conditioning. This is something you’d expect to be disclosed on the website. Their response to this concern was that they “never said they did have air conditioning and that the misunderstanding was my problem, not theirs.” Most people would expect that they at least provide the information up front to make an informed decision. I emailed them with concerns about my pregnant wife and toddler not being able to handle the 110 degree heat. “Stace” responded by offering to allow me to check out after one night with a 30% refund for the week...or they offered a fan to blow around the hot air in the house. Also, the “river access” they advertise is a joke. It’s a pile of rocks up against a swampy part of the river. There are so many better places to rent and better companies to rent from. I would steer clear of any home rented by “Dillion Beach & Russian River Escapes”. The empathy, courtesy, and level of service is mediocre."

"One of my most favorite vacations ever!
I cannot express enough how magnificent our time was at the redwood retreat! The host was so wonderful and timely in answering my many questions via email before my trip! Our mouths dropped when we pulled up. It is a beautiful road of charming homes and beautiful redwood trees. Everything inside the redwood retreat is so charming and warm. We had such a cozy stay. Breakfast on the huge deck out back every morning, loved the hot tub, and the beautiful windows in the bedroom made it feel like you were sleeping amongst the trees. I cannot recommend this place enough! Would love to go back! "

"Nice, calm place
My teenage son and I stayed here while we attended work and school remotely. It was pretty and quiet. We walked the neighborhood and down to the river every day. Safeway was super close and we cooked or barbecued pretty much every night. The hot tub was very peaceful. The only couple of issues we had were that I thought there was a washer/dryer and there wasn't. We of course managed fine without it. For some reason there was also barely enough toilet paper. Small things. Overall, a great place for a change of scenery in a pandemic."

"Redwood cabin
We had a great week there. The managers were very responsive to our needs. The kitchen was well equipped and met our cooking needs well. We spent most of our time there on the large deck With his perfect mix of sun and shade doing late July we were there. We even saw a bald eagle check on the redwood fence in the morning! The hot tub was another welcome amenity that we used it every night. However, this is advertised as holding up to six people but it is really a cabin with no insulation. We could see outside through a small crack in the wall in one of the very small bedrooms. And we could hear everything and feel from bed every time someone walked around the house (built on stilts essentially for occasional river flooding). We came with two teenagers and there really was no privacy. I highly recommend this place for two not more and only during the summer. We also overpaid with the high season pricing. "

"Lived up to all expectations
Large deck area outside of kitchen made up for smaller interior cottage size. Perfect for BBQ Has dining table, sofa and chairs to relax outdoors in redwood forest. Great customer service by Property Management Co. through out the process. Accurate descriptions of property. One B/R had a L/R sized chair placed in it and made it too tight to get in and out of the room. I would stay at this property again. Very clean and close proximity to river and Main St in Gurneville. "
