The driveway is suitable for 1 vehicle, but very steep. Please be very careful entering & exiting the driveway. It levels out to a flatter area at the end, but we recommend engaging your parking break. There are 2 off road parking spaces across the street from the home for extra vehicles

- Parking: Up to 3 vehicles - 1 in driveway (see disclaimer - driveway is very steep!) and up to 2 additional vehicles in the off road spots across the street.

CANCELLATIONS / REFUNDS / TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Cancellations: As an initial deposit, we take 50% of the reservation total at the time of your booking. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card on file 60 days prior to your arrival date.
Should you need to cancel prior to final payment (60+ days prior to arrival date), you will receive a full refund of your initial deposit.
Cancellations made after final payment (within 60 days of arrival date), are not eligible for refund. You are financially responsible for the entire amount of the reservation less cleaning and pet fees. Please consider purchasing travel insurance in order to be eligible for reimbursement of non-refundable prepaid travel expenses.
Refunds: Conditions beyond our control i.e. weather, road conditions, power outage, government mandated travel restrictions, TV outage, phone outage, Wifi outage, Hot tub problems or guest emergencies do not constitute a basis for refunds.

"Charming Wood Chalet
We had a great experience in the woods and enjoyed the quaint setting within the Sequoias. The location of the home was a convenient distance to both the Pacific and the wineries.
The home was comfortable and makes the best use of window to gain great views of the woods.
We did have some difficulties with limited clothe storage and basically lived out of our suit case. Although this home has 3 bedrooms the closets within the ground floor bedroom were not available for our use. Lastly, the walk up the to the front door includes a 36 step climb and should be a consideration for those planning a stay."

"An amazing hidden gem
We found this place by accident and couldn't have been happier. Tucked away in the trees gave us the reset we needed. Absolutely perfect and we WILL be back. And the restaurant at the end of the road had some of the best BBQ we have ever had. "

"Charming house in the Redwoods!
The house is tucked back in a neighborhood within Rio Nido with a nice walk if desired to the local restaurant and pub. The state park was also an easy 5 minute drive away and well worth it! The house itself is in great shape, we chose not to pull a car in the driveway luckily there is parking along the road. I would suggest adding curtains or blinds to the bedroom windows for more privacy."

"Perfect Location, Comfortable Home
This three-bedroom, three-bath Home nestled in the trees was perfect for our friends’ getaway. Allowed us space, privacy and proximity to redwoods and wineries. It was very clean and well equipped. The one addition I would suggest is the option of lowering bedroom and bathroom blinds."

"Modern redwood gem with a great kitchen and forest view
Modern, clean, lovely house in a cozy redwood canyon. Best part of the stay: the expansive redwood views out the tall front windows. Well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Would recommend, and return.
The only quibbles: noise carries through the thin bedroom doors quite easily (we could hear full conversations happening in the upstairs bedrooms while sitting in the living room). And with no A/C, it would have been nice if all the bedroom windows had screens and there was a fan for each bedroom."

"Excellent stay at the Wood Chalet
The Wood Chalet was a perfect fit for our family of 6. We all had our spaces and enjoyed the terrific views out our windows. The home was sparkling clean and very well maintained. The kitchen was better stocked than our one at home. A full range of spices and kitchen tools. Our 3 y.o. granddaughter even had her own mini-kitchen to use to help us with dinner. The hot tub was so great at the end of the day. To sit back and look up at the towering redwoods above was truly unique. The location was ideal. So close to the Armstrong Redwood preserve, close to wineries. The neighborhood was very quiet and offered a surprise during an after-dark walk with so many homes lit up at night with special lighting features. Management was very responsive to our one request. We would gladly return."
