Island Time Hilton Head is not the policy provider, Red Sky Travel Insurance Services is the holder.

Before 45 days of arrival date we will refund 90% of initial payment
Between 31 to 44 days prior to arrival we will refund 50% of initial payment
Inside 30 days of arrival date all payments are nonrefundable
The reservation fee is nonrefundable.

Before 60 days of arrival date we will refund 90% of initial payment
Between 46 to 59 days prior to arrival we will refund 75% of initial payment
Between 31 to 45 days prior to arrival we will refund 50% of initial payment

"The Good, The Bad and The Ugly The Good: Let's start with the positive - accurate pictures, comfortable spaces, great having the pool, nice to have access to the garage to store bikes and golf clubs, etc, loads of dishes and glasses and pots and pans. The basics are covered very well! The Bad. This rental unit has been well used and is showing its age. Not that we were any less comfortable but the worn out look and feel takes a certain enjoyment out of the stay. Wooden floors are worn, carpeting is worn and dingy, doors and gates need replacing, etc. Being right next to a green on the golf course, plan to wake up early listening to the maintenance workers and their power equipment every morning starting an hour BEFORE sunrise. With 3 of the 4 bedrooms on the side closest to the course, you may find yourself fighting for the 'kids' room with the two single beds. The Ugly: The house has a distinct and strong smell to it upon entering - dank and musty. I think most of it was coming from the washing machine - keeping the door closed to the laundry helped, but there is also a blackish mold-like film on both sides of several doors that made me suspect it was more than the laundry. Most pronounced, however, was the vent screen for the pull-down stove-top vent in the kitchen. Literally dripping with old grease and gunk. I am quite sure it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. A very unpleasant look and we clearly did not want to use the stove vent after that - which made it almost impossible to use the stove top without triggering the fire alarms. Needless to say possibly unsafe given it is a gas range. Overall, I felt like we overpaid for the condition of the house and the numerous detractors (I only hit on the highlights - you wouldn't want to see the rest of my comments). I think the ownership has gotten their money out of it and needs to reinvest in the property to fairly market it as a vacation rental." All the staff were so helpful with all my questions. They worked with me on specifics to accommodate our family of 11 and even found a bed converter for a twin bed situation to help us. Sue was especially great to work and got back to me with ALL my questions. She even sent me some information of sea turtles on the island for my grandboys! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. Our family has been getting together for HHI trips for 25 plus years and I’ll Have to say we customarily have used VRBO or Airbnb but Island Time was the best with less hassle, better rates and more personal touches! So thankful i found them and will be reaching out to the again for future trips. Palmetto Dunes is one of our favorite resorts and the house was perfect for our grown children and 2 grandboys. It was clean and kitchen well stocked. We cook a lot while we are there and loved the amenities esp. the pool. Adults could enjoy the pool while grandkids napped! I will say the kitchen cabinets need to be organized a little more. Things were mismatched and stored in an unorganized manner....hard to find items as you may find parts to things in different drawers or shelves. House was clean and spacious! Only disclaimer I have is they charged me a VayK Life fee ( notice Your line items when you pay ) and then they give You a VayK Life allowance for beach gear rentals but the difference in $ ends up Being greater for the renters? I asked about this but never got a good explanation? Overall will definitely be asking Island Time for assistance on rentals as our family continues to grow and we will be vacationing in HHI again in the future. Brenda and Sharon answered all questions and got us the extra car pass last minute. House was super well stocked. Labels for cabinets were very helpful. Cant say anything bad about the place. Great location as we played golf everyday, went to the Hilton Head diner almost every morning, and had our favorite restaurants (Ruan Thai, Smokehouse, San Miguel, Hudson's) all close by as the house was in the middle of them all inside Palmetto Dunes. I am getting better at streaming tv and their written instructions in every room definitely helped. Would, without question, reserve this house again. Great value. It was a little early in the season for us to enjoy the pool and the hot tub was not turned on yet which may have been fun but we were going strong all day on the golf course and dinner locations so we had very little time for it. Note: the chairs in the living room picture recline. We didn't figure that out until the third day, BONUS. Thank you Island Time HHI for a great stay.
