Welcome to Schlitterbobs Hideaway at Waterwheel condominiums, the perfect spot for you and your guests to relax and float the day away and spend your nights exploring all that New Braunfels has to offer. It is walking distance to downtown New Braunfels, Schlitterbahn and only 3 miles to historic Gruene. The private balcony, which is perfect for sipping your morning coffee from the Keurig coffee maker or a glass of wine at night, has a table with seating. This balcony opens up into the cozy living room with smart TV, and free WIFI. The kitchen comes stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils. The master bedroom has a king bed and cable TV as well as a private bathroom with a walk in shower. The guest bedroom has a queen bed, and the guest bathroom with a walk in shower is located conveniently just outside in the hall. The third bedroom has 2 twin trundle beds (sleeps 4). All bathrooms come with hotel size amenities, bath towels, and two rolls of toilet paper. High quality linens are provided for all beds and bathrooms.
It is an easy walk down to the river! Rockin' R River Rides is less than one miles away. The complex has 2 pools, 4 hot tubs, communal charcoal grills and an amazing amount of beautiful green grass and beautiful trees. It's a perfect place for a picnic!
2 vehicles allowed. This condo is on the 2nd floor and does have an elevator. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. No pets allowed. You will receive 2 parking passes and 8 wristbands (max amount allowed). This condo has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.
**WRISTBANDS & PARKING PASSES REQUIRED*** These condos are individually owned and the owners graciously allow their "second homes" to be rented out and enjoyed! The HOA of the complex had laid out some policies to ensure everyone staying at the complex can have a wonderful time. Because of the fabulous location, we can have trouble with trespassers. The security guards on premise are there to ensure only renters are using the grounds and that guests are parking in the correct parking spaces. Please do not be offended by the wristband and parking pass policies, they are really there to ensure that you have a fabulous time!
WINTER MONTHLY RENTALS - if you are interested in renting monthly in the winter months, please contact for pricing details. This property is $2000 per month.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival will result in a $50 administrative fee and the return of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival will result in full forfeiture of payment. On monthly reservations the cancellation policy increases to 30 days. We require 25% down at the time the reservation is made. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures.

This is my second stay with the Grandkids at this location. 1st at this room. Very clean. Nice location. Nice pool. We always love the River behind the hotel. Didn't get to get in the River this year due to the rapid moving water. Maybe next year. Always love staying in New Braunfels and this Rental place. "

Lovely park-like grounds where we set up our camp chairs and picnicked by the river. Great pool and hot tubs gave us plenty to do for the day without even leaving the condo. Very convenient location within walking distance of tubing and attractions. A very short drive to historic downtown square and wonderful German food at Alpine House!"
