| Description |
In a quiet residential neighbourhood in Playa Langosta, the calming sounds of the ocean waves welcome you upon arrival to Horizontes Del Mar 301. Enter into this gorgeous, recently updated condo and immediately experience the sensation of luxury and complete comfort from the elegant interior design and ample space. Become captivated with the magnificent picturesque scene of the deep blue ocean, trees and white sand on display just outside of your balcony. Pull back the large sliding glass doors to feel the cooling sea breeze and spend some time appreciating the tropical weather on a plush wicker chair. If soaking in the sun is more of what you’re after, head on upstairs to the exquisite rooftop terrace with unobstructed views of your lush backyard. When it's time to take a break from the sun, move over to the shaded lounging area, complete with a TV, bar and grill, perfect for having a delicious afternoon BBQ with your guests. After the great meal, take a refreshing swim downstairs in the sparkling, blue water infinity pool or take a short walk down the sandy path towards the ocean. As the sun makes its way down, choose from 3 wonderful vantage points to watch as it sets into the sea: remain at the beach, cooling your toes in the sand, find a cozy spot up on the balcony or go up to the highest vantage point to take pleasure in the view. When the spectacle is over and the last shades of orange, magenta and purple fade, begin preparing a scrumptious home cooked dinner in the modern, fully equipped kitchen. Pour yourself a cool glass of wine, or beverage of your choice, and enjoy your fantastic creation while sitting at the handcrafted high top wooden table, or while looking out at the stars from the lovely wicker dining room set. Stay out past your usual bedtime reminiscing about old memories while making new ones or opt to watch a great movie while fully relaxed on the cushy leather couch. When you can no longer keep your eyes from closing, retire to your beautiful master suite to take a warm, soothing shower, while your guests select between the second king-size suite or the twin suite with additional bunk bed.
Explore the hidden gems that Playa Langosta has to offer just down the road. The charming little shops and restaurants, as well as the local mercado provide wonderful treasures that will delight all of your guests. To find a little more variety, take a walk to Tamarindo where there are many international restaurants to satisfy any craving, a larger variety of souvenir and clothing stores to buy yourself something nice, as well as new activities going on everyday to keep you and your group entertained. If you're searching for an adrenaline rush, there are plenty of outdoor adventures to choose from, such as a ziplining tour where you’ll soar through the forest while enjoying amazing views of the natural wonders around you.
Whe you book, we offer full concierge service with every reservation so we can help you reserve anything from airport transportation to massages, excursions and more! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions.

"Great Rental in Playa Langosta
This property was great and perfect for our family of four. We would highly recommend."

"Amazing Family Vacation at Horizontes del Mar 301!
This condo is amazing and we had the best time visiting Tamarindo! The condo was perfect with a great master bedroom and bath with ocean and pool views plus two more bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom. It was perfect for us and our two college aged kids. The pool was perfect and the beach access was so easy. The location was great near Tamarindo but outside of the downtown activity. Both porches are fantastic but the rooftop porch is amazing with fantastic sunset views, two grills, a bar and plenty of comfy seating. And Fivestar was so great to work with. They helped us setup all of our activities and were quick to respond when we had questions. The onsite security was always ready to open the gate for us and the cleaning service half way through the week was terrific! We loved this condo, Fivestar and Tamarindo! WE would definitely recommend this to anyone!!"

"Wonderful property
My family of four loved staying here! The condo was clean, comfortable, spacious and conveniently located close to town. The views of the water and sunsets were spectacular. The condo is within walking distance of restaurants and shops, but we most frequently used our rented golf cart to get around. I don't think I can adequately express how helpful Romi (the concierge) was. She set up all of our activities as well as made dinner reservations. And she was incredibly patient as I kept making changes! The whole experience of booking and staying at the condo was relaxed and easy. I would definitely stay there again!

"Awesome place to stay!
This was a very excellent Vrbo experience. The condo had everything that we needed including all kinds of kitchen extras. Very well equipped across the board. We really didnt need to provide/bring anything. One of the best VRBOs i have ever rented!"

"Spring Break Get Away 2024
Our stay at Horizontes Del Mar 301 was Excellent !!!!! The photographs online are very accurate to the Condo. The Condo was very well appointed with accessories to make our stay more enjoyable. The staff was extremely accessible & accommodating. Pool was awesome and the walk to the beach was a breezy. Only issue was the construction noise from the adjacent property. "

"Amazing view and lots of places to enjoy it
My family loved this house. It’s a short drive from the center of town. Personnel manning the property were all very kind and helpful. Everything was very clean and in good condition. We all enjoyed our stay very much. The property management was always easy to get a hold of if we had an issue and very knowledgeable. "

"I Was Hesitant to Book A VRBO in Costa Rica...
It would have been a giant mistake. The place was fantastic. The concierge Romina was very helpful and just a joy. In fact when we moved onto a hotel for the next part of our vacation,we still used her to book things. We were a family of five and there was plenty of room. You can eat in the second floor by the kitchen or on the second floor balcony or on the third floor balcony. The air conditioning is nice and cold. There is a small supermarket close by and restaurants in walking distance. That view is even better in person."

"Horizontes Getaway
Although our vacation was unexpectedly cut short due to a medical emergency, the time in 301 was excellent. Ana and Maria at Five Star were exceptional - coordinating the rental, organizing pre-stocking of groceries, scheduling airport shuttle and arranging our car rental - exemplary support from both of them. "

"Spacious Condo with Gorgeous views and spectacular sunsets
My husband and I and our three teen daughters had a wonderful week at Horizontes del Mar 301. The unit was stocked with everything you might need to make your stay comfortable, from beach towels, to beach chairs, to every pot, pan, and appliance you might possibly need. We loved grilling our food on the roof top deck and enjoying our meals from there. The beautiful ocean view from the master bedroom and the two patios cannot be beat. We loved hanging out, reading, enjoying our coffee, etc., from the rooftop deck as well as the covered patio on the main level. The beach was perfect for long walks and the pool perfect for cooling off. Five star was extremely responsive to all of our questions and very helpful. I highly recommend this unit. It was close enough to Tamarindo for a visit to the town yet far enough away to get away from the crowds. "

"Two Weeks In Paradise
Great location, right on beach, within walking distance to restaurants and short drive to grocery store. Loved the condo, the upper patio was perfect place to begin and end each day. Our group of five had amble room in this spacious, immaculate and tastefully furnished condo. The kitchen was well equipped with every utensil we needed to prepare our meals including grills on the upper patio. A huge thank you to the managers for making sure our stay was memorable. We would most certainly stay here again."

"Dreamy....
Three wonderful days for 4 Adults and 3 teens loving it here! Lots of space, amazing views - 2 private patios - tons of iguanas, crabs, howler monkeys and geckos all around. Walk out to the beach or the comfortable pool. We took a horse ride on around Conchal Beach, took fishing trip and brought fresh fish home for supper. Grilled a couple meals on provided grills. Walked downtown and to eat at "Fish and Cheeses." Attentive property managers. I'm sure you want to stay here!"

"Fantatic Property
What a fantastic place! The condo has recently been upgraded and decorated. It is beautiful. The views from this condo just cannot be beat, the sunsets, the stars anytime of the day you have a wonderful view of the ocean. The property is in Langosta which is about a 10 minute walk into Tamarindo. Langosta has a small grocery store very close, and some restaurants nearby as well. The Surf Club has great food as does Fish and Cheeses. Mario and Natalia were very helpful in getting anything that we needed. I will be coming back for sure!"
