Description |
Enjoy a fantastic direct view of the ocean and sandy beach plus enjoy the prevalent southeast breeze. The extra large balcony has a grill with a nice eating area. The second floor gives us a nice overlook while providing privacy.
Beautifully updated condo. The living area floors are Mexican tile, the bedrooms wide plank wood laminate. The living room picture window looks out over the ocean and the triple glass sliders lead to the balcony. It is tastefully furnished with a TV and stereo system and has a dining room table that seats 6 or more. Enjoy sunrise ocean views from the privacy of your king sized bed. Open the glass sliding doors and feel the ocean breeze or step out to the balcony with morning coffee and watch the sun seemingly emerge from the ocean. This Primary Suite includes a king bed and a private bathroom with a large tub. The ensuite guest bedroom has a queen size bed and a single futon bed with private access to the bathroom. The third bedroom has two book case style beds which are great for children. Updated flat screen televisions in all the bedrooms!
Please note: The owner of this condo is severely allergic to pet dander so this condo cannot accommodate service animals of any kind. However, we have many other condos that do accommodate service animals here at !
All the condos are equipped with private WIFI and have TVs in the living room, master bedroom, and second bedroom. The condo is also equipped with a washer and dryer, located off from the kitchen.
Take advantage of the recreational opportunities of this private gated community, including a large oceanfront pool, children's playground, two tennis courts with pickleball court lines, and a basketball hoop. Our indoor amenities include a heated pool, sauna, racquetball court, and fitness center.
The beautiful, white, sandy beaches are just a two-minute walk from buildings 1 and 2 and a three-minute walk from building 3. The beaches are accessible by car with just a short drive north to the Dondanville Road Access.
Only a 15-minute drive away is historic downtown Saint Augustine, where there is no shortage of shopping, dining, or fun activities for people of all ages. Check out the towns many historic attractions or hop on the Trolley’s to see it all on the go! You can purchase tickets to many of Saint Augustine’s attractions here in the office!
Saint Augustine has no shortage of kid friendly entertainment! Check out the Alligator Farm or the Lighthouse and Maritime Museum here on the island or head downtown for the Pirate and Treasure Museum or Potter’s Wax Museum for some good old fashion family fun!
In the months of June and July we offer a variety of daily on-site food trucks by the pool and weekly movie nights on the lawn!

"Heavenly
It was an excellent location and condo. The views from the living room and deck were spectacular. The condo was very clean and beautifully decorated, the washer and dryer worked well, and the sofas were very comfy. There were plenty of wonderful restaurants and activities within a short driving distance. We rented the beach umbrella/chairs set up for a couple days from DRIFTERS Rentals, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Overall, it was a fabulous vacation thanks to Colony Reef. We hated to leave. "

Unit was clean. Nice view.
Unfortunately, the furniture was not comfortable. The king bed was extremely firm and the pillows very flat The queen bed squeaked just sitting on it. The kitchen chairs were not made for anyone without a tiny rear end. The couches were leather or leather-like, and bodies stuck to the material. "

"Colony Reef Club Was Great!
After a rough start and having to change units, we had a lovely vacation at Colony Reef Club. The staff quickly resolved our issue and provided good customer service. The property is incredible with lots of amenities, the location is great, our unit was well maintained and the outdoor patio was awesome. The only downfall is there is no security after 5 pm. There is an after hours number but the person was not helpful with our noise complaint when people were blasting music and being incredibly loud in the courtyard until after 1 am. This was the only issue we experienced. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. "

"A Great Stay in a Fantastic Location
This was our first stay at Colony Reef Club, but I hope it won't be our last. The condo was clean and well-furnished. The view from our balcony was breath-taking early every morning. The front office staff was friendly and helpful, and my young adult granddaughter and I enjoyed the gym. Our family hopes to rent this same condo again. "

Good overall. Issues with the room. Patio door very hard to open and close. Main bathroom smeels like sewage when running sink water. Main bathroom tub drain very slow. Other rooms I rented had issues as well. Some were major."

"UNit 2203-Great view
Great place to rent. Perfect location for view of pool and beach. This unit is new to rental. We have stayed in various units. My only suggestion would be to have a list of amenities such as coffee pot,grill, blender, beach chairs, beach toys, or whatever they have. It just helps us plan what to bring. Would have been nice to have shampoo and laundry detergent starter packs too. One big issue is that the deck floor paint was all peeling off and we had our 2 year old grandson with us so we really had to be careful. It needs redone."

"Dissapointed Experience
We checked in on Saturday Evening and found several things that we wanted to talk to the office about. The office was closed at 5PM and we were unable to speak to anyone. Sunday 3 attempts were made to contact someone at the office between 1PM and 4PM and the office was closed all 3 times. On Monday AM we were able to speak to the Manager in the office and gave her a list of our complaints in writing and she said they would get on it. As of today I am still waiting to hear from anyone with the management team. Just for information we have rented your location every summer in July for 27 years and this year was our worst experience. We also come with our two adult children and their families who also rent a condo. Our daughter and her family were in 2304 this year.
1. The window blinds on picture window facing the ocean were broken and in need of repair. 2. Sliding glass door to porch was very difficult to open and close. 3. Oven could not be used as it smoked due to someone leaving French fries on rack burned and something had also been spilled in bottom of oven. 4. Wash cloth which appeared to have excrement on it was turned into office at the time I spoke to Manager. 5. One bath towel in bedroom bath had 3 holes in it. 6. Pool view was blocked on porch due to palm fronds. Fronds also hanging into porch area that could easily cut someone. 7. No drying dish towels in kitchen/only 1 dish cloth. 8. Clothes Dryer took. 2 hours to dry 1 load of clothes. 8. Handle was broken on cabinet in bathroom located in hallway. 9. When we checked in the floor was so wet we had to use a dry mop to get up the water. Put baby in walker and his white socks were dirty right away. 10. Table on porch was dirty and floor had large accumulation of sand and had not been cleaned.

"Family Vacation
We have been coming to Colony Reef for 10+ years, renting several units eachieve year. The complex is undergoing some much needed improvements. We love the location of this unit, outdoor patio and ice view, the coastal decorations, the tvs, and the living space. But the beds were extremely uncomfortable in both bedrooms and the pillows were dirty, but we did bring our pillow from home. Vacation is a time to relax and sleep in but we were getting up earlier than normal due the beds. We left on Thursday even though our stay was til Saturday, longing for a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. The kitchen needs attention. The icemaker leaks (we told management) and the cookware is lacking. We like to cook while on vacation so this is important to us. The dryer took forever to dry towels. This is rated in the top of rental units. We shared our experience with the office staff and they were wonderful. The management was very concerned and I'm sure they have shared our comments and concerns with the owners. We are hoping that improvements will be made before next year's vacation. I did select yes to recommending the property because I feel the owners and the management will address the issues. Next year I will be calling management for information on the units before booking."

"Beautiful View
Our overall experience with the condo rental and the complex was very positive. I really appreciate that you worked with me on booking our stay and allowing us to book less than the 7 day minimum. Truthfully it would be very hard to afford a full 7 days. The condo was very clean inside and the view was beautiful from this unit! My only criticisms would be that the unit window facing the beautiful view was very dirty. I actual had to go purchase some window cleaner and clean the windows myself. I also was surprised that the kitchen lacked some normal necessities that we too had to go out and purchase (we could have saved money if we would have known to bring the items): kitchen pot holders, kitchen hand towels, dish soap and measuring cups. It might be nice to send the renter a list of items they need to provide themselves. Other than that the unit was great and the pool and grounds felt clean and well kept. Thank you again for allowing us to stay and we hope to book there again in the future!"
