Madeira Norte #214 - This is a stunning unit! This completely updated 2 bedroom and 1.5 bathroom vacation retreat has been meticulously cared for, and provides incredible views in a sought after location near all amenities. Free Wifi.
Guests will thoroughly enjoy the modern kitchen, complete with new countertops and matching backsplash, appliances and fully stocked with all utensils needed for your stay. The living room, in soft neutral colors, provides plenty of seating space and large flat screened television. Step out to the large balcony and take in the tranquil ocean views. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the one of a kind Florida sunsets. The master bedroom, with access to the balcony, has one queen bed, television and plenty of closet and dresser drawer space. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and flat screened television, making this perfect for families with children. Linens, extra towels and pillows are stocked for your visit, as well as a washer and dryer. Please note that lost fobs will incur a replacement fee of $250, or the withholding of the equal security deposit, depending on the method of booking.
You will be required to sign a rental agreement with (Property Management) prior to a reservation being confirmed.
Please note the Rules and Regulations for Madeira Norte Condominiums prohibit motorcycles on the property. The Board of Directors has authorized the removal of motorcycles via a local towing company.
There is one assigned parking spot for this condo.
As a SunHost guest, you will have access to office services, including fax, copy, and printing boarding passes. Seven day a week maintenance service is available as well as an after hours emergency on call person. This is a non smoking home.
In a matter of minutes guests can walk to the heated swimming pool, BBQ facilities, and of course, the amazing beaches. John's Pass Village, a local landmark is just across the street. The Pass is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.
Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. It's 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This beautiful Gulf getaway, has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.
Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

Pets Not Allowed ALL cancellation requests must be received in WRITING via email, fax or letter. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Trip Insurance, Non Cash Disount Fees, Certain Service Fees and Condo Approval Fees are not refundable.
Upon written notice at least 30 days prior to the Rental Period, the prepayment less an $85 fee shall be returned for cancellation.
Thereafter, there are no refunds in the unfortunate event of a cancellation prior to the Rental Period. Changes to reservations will be accommodated based on availability. Refunds are not given for unmet expectations, weather, natural disaster, evacuation, personal, or other related reasons. The Management Company reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

"Slightly dated but nice place to enjoy your beach vacation
Overall, our stay was great. As long as the basic needs are met anything with a beach view and easy beach access makes for a good vacation. The main pluses of the condo: Right across the street from John’s Pass so that was super convenient. Everything was in good condition and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need for your stay. Water pressure and temperature for the shower was excellent. Plenty of towels were provided for the week. The side facing balcony was great. Very spacious and clean with good furniture to use. Loved sitting out there every day, hearing and seeing the ocean, even when it rained. Beach accessories that they had available to use was extremely helpful for the week. Although the thermostat was required to stay at 72 or above, the room was always comfortable. There weren’t many issues but to be a true review you have to list everything. The only major complaint we had was, two days into our week, one of the elevators broke down and was still not fixed when we left. The elevators are already small, so only having one made it difficult to get the beach gear down each day and definitely made checking out difficult. A few of the minor issues we ran into: The furniture in the bedrooms mainly is somewhat outdated. It was all in good condition. It just was an older style of furniture. The main TV had no sound. We didn’t need it much but when we wanted to use it, we couldn’t. Tried to work with it, and I’m tech savvy, with no luck. We didn’t contact the rental company because it wasn’t that important to us. The beds are very firm so if you like a soft bed like us, it may not be as compatible as you would like. Overall, I would recommend this condo, but with a few upgrades, it would be five stars all around! "

"Amazing Location
We absolutely loved staying here! You could not beat the views and location. We spent our days at the beach and pool and were able to walk to John’s Pass for ice cream and shops at night! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching spectacular sunsets. Beds were a bit hard but unit was clean. We would definitely come back! "

"Family Vacation
First things first, we had a great time in the Condo. The views from the balcony are spectacular. Sunrise through sunset are truly amazing. With the condo being located right on the beach, it is just footsteps to the Gulf. The location of the condo in John’s Pass and surrounding areas makes it very easy and convenient to travel about by foot or car, and grocery stores, pharmacies, boating and fishing ,etc. are all close by. John’s Pass itself has very good restaurants and many places to purchase souvenirs, beach accessories,collectibles, etc. Location is a key element here. As mentioned above, views are truly amazing. The interior of the unit is very comfortable and accommodating. The entire condo was very clean, well stocked and organized. We would definitely stay in Unit #214 again and would recommend it to others. Thank you for a great summer vacation!"

"Fantastic Experience! Can’t wait to return!
Everything about our stay was great from start to finish. Communication was great and we had no problems checking in. Location is perfect and we loved having John’s Pass literally across the street. (Don’t miss the Sip n Scoop for breakfast sandwiches & ice cream! Bamboo Beach Bar had some fun live music, too.) Unit was very clean and well stocked. The pool was never too crowded and had a lot of chairs. Winn Dixie grocery is just a few minutes away. We will absolutely return. Our only suggestion would be to add reclining beach chairs for guests to use. The “bag” chairs just don’t work for a nap on the beach and the rental company isn’t allowed there. "

"A great stay as usual
We always stay at a sunhost property because for the last 35 years, we’ve had nothing but positive experiences dealing with this company. Our needs are met and service is exemplary. Our unit was one that we’ve stayed in before and always find it clean and comfortable. Of course the beach is a big draw for us and if not on the beach, I’m enjoying the balcony. Fishing is a big draw for my husband . It’s the perfect place for us. "

"Great time!
Condo was clean, modern, well furnished in kitchen, and beds we're comfortable. This was our third time at Madeira Norte and this was the best. Only problem was the bathroom door that was coming off the hinge and difficult to close. Very easy check-in and check-out. Staff was courteous and helpful. Had very bad construction noise next door one day. But overall great. "

"Great place to watch sunsets from balcony
We loved watching the sunset from the balcony almost every evening. This building is in a great location and the rental company was very professional and friendly.
While the condo is older and in need of a few updates (ceiling fan in master bedroom needs replacing, softer mattresses - a matter of personal preference for us at least - and new grout in the shower), it was still great for what we needed. The layout was good and the kitchen was very well stocked; impressively so, we thought.
My husband needed to work for a few days and had no issues with connectivity, which was great!
TIP: If you like it cold at night for sleeping be sure to bring a fan. The rental company makes it very clear up front that the ac can’t go below a certain point. We were thankful to know ahead of time as it let us know to pack a fan."

"Upgrades needed. Good location. Nice view.
Both elevators had issues of not working at all or very slow. Property needs keyless entry to common areas instead of a key. Very inconvenient. Washer in unit very loud. Bed in master extremely hard and was off frame upon arrival. We bought a mattress topper and still hard. Pillows flat and old bought four new pillows. Ceiling fans knock and scary they will come off we bought a fan . Maintenance said nothing they could do about ceiling fans. Front desk did not have toppers available. Hand to shower barely worked to turn on and off . Pool is extremely small. Need a key to enter stairs, pool, beach, elevator etc so key codes would be helpful. Everything i bought, mattress topper, pillows and fan , i left in the room, hopefully they stay for the next person . Carpet in living room was dirty, i would recommend lvt or tile installed . We will not stay in this place again . "

"New Years on the beach
Overall, we had a great time, and would definitely come back. Just a few minor callouts that came up were they were in the middle of outside work on the balconies around the buidling, but nothing that interfered with during our stay, but parking was a little tight if you had a guest. Luckily there is a public lot next door if needed. Carpet could use a cleaning, but it wasn't terrible. Only major callout was there was no screen on the doorwall that opened up into the living room. Luckily, this time of year there are no bugs, but did get some moth's in at night. Screen in the master bedroom was good, and we used it all the time. Couple light bulbs needed changing as well. Property was clean and they had someone daily going around looking for any trash on the grounds. If you could only figure out how to add a hot tub at the pool, that would kick it up to 5 stars!"
