Surf Song #347 - Great opportunity to rent a beach view property in popular Surf Song Resort in Madeira Beach! This 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo provides views, prime location, and everything you need to enjoy your stay at this sought after vacation resort. Free Wifi Please note this unit does not have a phone. You will be required to sign a rental agreement with (Property Management) prior to a reservation being confirmed.
Upon entering, you will notice a spacious living area, with leather furnishings, television and access to the balcony overlooking beach. The kitchen includes granite countertops, nice appliances, and is stocked with utensils for your cooking needs. A dining table that seats up to six is the perfect place to play games, enjoy a nice dinner or relax after a day at the beach. The peaceful master bedroom offers a king sized bed, attached bathroom and television, offering privacy. This is a highly popular rental for couples due to its nice layout, and desirable location at Surf Song Resort. The heated swimming pool, and BBQ facilities are all within walking distance as well. Linen for all beds, extra pillows & sufficient towels for your stay are always provided.
When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (copy, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person.
Just a short walk away is popular John's Pass Village. Located directly across the street, The Pass is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's number 1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination.
Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

ALL cancellation requests must be received in WRITING via email, fax or letter. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Trip Insurance, Non Cash Disount Fees, Certain Service Fees and Condo Approval Fees are not refundable.
Upon written notice at least 30 days prior to the Rental Period, the prepayment less an $85 fee shall be returned for cancellation.
Thereafter, there are no refunds in the unfortunate event of a cancellation prior to the Rental Period. Changes to reservations will be accommodated based on availability. Refunds are not given for unmet expectations, weather, natural disaster, evacuation, personal, or other related reasons. The Management Company reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

This was our first time to Madeira Beach and we loved it. The resort was clean and had easy access to everything. The pool was nice and the beach was even better. We were in walking distance of Johns Pass and had spectacular sun set views every night. Highly recommend staying here. "

"July 2023 Vacation
We have been coming to Surf Song for a years. The location and check-in process is perfect. However, the property is severely declining. The carpets on each floor are terribly stained, the paint is peeling off the trim, door frames and discolored on the walls. The ACs are struggling and the stoves are shot. We were unable to use the pool for 2 days as the water was milky, the cords from pool lights were hanging in the water and there were bugs lining the walls. I understand these are rentals and it's hard to keep things pristine with high turn over, but it does not make guests feel worthy or of value. It was truly disheartening because we love Surf Song, we rent 4 condos with all of our family each year and this year was tough! "

Our stay at Surf Song was very relaxing and enjoyable. Our condo was very comfortable and the sunset s were beautiful. Overall the property was well maintained. The grills need to be maintained better and grill utensils would be helpful. Would like to see more chairs available. Don’t always want a chaise lounge. "

I have returned and stayed at the Surf Song many times over the last 35 years, and my parents, siblings and my son all have also visited many, MANY times. It was the place we considered to be our home away from home, and we have many happy memories there. It was a yearly Mother's Day trek for us, and hence I have stayed in all most every unit there, but unfortunately I was very disappointed this time.
Room 347 was not at all what I was expecting. The decor, window coverings and furniture was very dated, the toilet paper holder kept falling off, the bathroom sink leaked, and to top it off, the property next to us was being sandblasted, so we could not even sit on the balcony during the day :( The noise and bad music from John's Pass was also a deterrent to us being able to enjoy the balcony and sit outside. I realize some of that is out of your control, but I can't say I remember this kind of stuff being an issue from other times I stayed on the Surf Song property, so I was extremely disheartened with the experience.
I had expected to be in the end room, #348, so when we opened the door I was immediately unhappy. We tried to change our reservations and would have forfeited our stay in 347 and paid for another Sunhost rental altogether, but the girl in the office rudely brushed us off stating there was no possibility of that.
I can't say that I will never return to another SunHost property or room in the Surf Song, but I can say I will never recommend room 347 or return there. I apologize for saying negative things about this rental, but the truth is it was just plain awful."

Great place to stay, very quiet and wonderful location. I would suggest a little more info be provided ahead of time concerning what is included and what to bring (like coffeemaker, filters, etc.) Also suggest a couple of light throw blankets as folks are unlikely to pack them and they come in handy. Also wash all bedding each time a guest leaves, not just sheets. "
