It comfortably fit 5 adults and 1 kid and could have easily held 1 more adult and 3 more kids based on available beds. The only downside was the pool was on the small side with limited space if you have a large group and no real lounge chairs to lay out (more just Adirondack chairs). It also is shaded in the morning so we did luckily pay extra for the heating option as it would have been cold to use otherwise in October. It is centrally located in Grayton with easy walks or rides to the beach, dining and shopping. The property itself easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 teens. I did feel it needed a refresh. The entrance was a bit annoying because no matter how hard you tried you were going to track in sand. It needs something to mitigate walking through sand. Also I felt it was a bit overpriced for the location and condition but a lot of that is the ridiculous fees. Not unique to to rental company as they are all charging over the top fees on top of the rental price. Personally I would shop around to find a company that isn’t doing that. The house was very much the same as the first time with the exception of a couple of things. 1st: love the grill outside with new table and chairs poolside, however, the grill only had half the burners working so needs to be replaced. 2nd: 1 of the 4 bikes had a tire that needed to be replaced. We called management to no avail except to fill with air....did not hold air, needed replacement which we knew when we called early in the week. The bike was finally exchanged 4 days into our stay which was disappointing. Our family does alot of our meals at home so we would have appreciated more casserole dishes, tupperware for leftovers, etc. Definitely not deal breakers, we will definitely come back!" Management company was super responsive and the best I have ever experienced, and we have come to 30A at least once a year for 10 years, so pretty impressive. Overall, house was clean with good floorplan. Living room furniture needed some love or replacement and kitchen pots and pans were not really usable, but otherwise well equipped inside. Lack of good seating on porches and pool patio, but we really enjoyed the pool area. Good proximity to beach and local restaurants. The house was plenty big for all of us. It was clean and decorated in beach-happy decor. I cooked a lot, so the nice open kitchen was a plus for me. Although the weather was a bit chilly, the ocean sand and sounds were memorable, the heated pool was a hit and the home (especially for the kids). The house is in walking distance to everything so that was ideal. Still for ease of parking, going to and seeing the dunes and beach transportation we rented an 8-passenger golf cart which made parking, beach pick-up and drop-off so much easier. The management company was very helpful and prompt with any questions that we had. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. As a side note: I am not sure I would come in the spring or summer because traffic would be less than desirable, but most people going to the Beach in this area expect traffic." The pool worked out great for the 5 kids to splash around in and we enjoyed the private backyard. The location of the house is walking distance to the beach and Grayton Beach is fantastic! We also rented a golf cart and I would recommend that. It wasn't easy to find parking by the beach, but we used the golf cart to haul the kids and beach stuff down at times. We just loved the area. Nice big walking/running path along 30A and you are between Sandestin and Seaside for more entertainment. Lastly, 30A Luxury Vacations was great to work with. We have stayed at many homes when we wanted to do a beach get away - this was our favorite stay at one of our favorite local beaches. The home is absolutely beautiful - the pictures do not do it justice. The bedrooms are all very roomy and there are 2 master suites. The home was extremely clean and well supplied with anything guests may need. The outside area was just as exceptional as the inside - the pool was beautiful and large enough to be enjoyed by a larger family - there were bikes to utilize for guest and were easily accessible. This property is close to everything - you can walk to bars, restaurants, shops, etc. Management to this rental was very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. I could not recommend this property more - if you choose Fish Bait as your vacation stay you will be very very happy. We would definitely stay at Fish Bait again when back in Grayton."
