This 525 sq. ft. villa is tastefully decorated and includes a Bedroom, Full Bath, Living Area with Sleep Sofa & a Fully Equipped Kitchen. A Private Oceanfront Balcony is located off of the Living Area. Walk easily to Coligny Plaza which offers more than 60 shops & restaurants & be sure to stop by the ever popular Tiki Hut. Free WiFi. There is NO Landline in this villa, guests are advised to use their cell phones if necessary.

No refunds will be made for cancellations received 45 days or less prior to arrival unless the Dwelling is re-rented for the same rate and time period. "Nice little getaway
The rental was nice and reasonably priced. Clean and generally well maintained. Might want to consider providing some additional pantry space for the kitchen in the hallway closet. Deck and bathroom could use some updating, but functional.
Very close to the beach and fairly quiet. Last time we were in Hilton Head was 35 years ago. We’ll likely come back again, perhaps earlier in the season.
Rental staff were very helpful and friendly."

"Old Worn-Out Condo
Location was great and Sea Turtle Getaways has great customer service. They worked with us when we had to leave early unexpectedly. The unit though was old and worn out. It is not as nice as the pictures show. The owner could invest $2000 and make it really nice. The interior doors are so old the bathroom door would not fully close. The commode is so tiny it looks like it was made for a child. The light switches and plates are yellowed and grimy, I felt like I needed to wash my hands every time I touched the switches. The bathroom vanity and faucet were about 30 years old. The tiny coffee maker barely made enough to fill two coffee mugs. 3 new doors, new baseboard and door trim, new commode and vanity, changing out the outlets and switches would really make the unit more inviting and updated."

"Perfect location on Coligny Beach
The unit was situated on the first floor with a view of the beach from the balcony. We booked a 4 night stay and enjoyed our stay and visit to Hilton Head.
Pros: Central location downtown with an easy walk to stores, bars and restaurants. Beach was just a few hundred yards from the unit, easy access from the pool area. Unit was furnished with all The basic amenities needed for a short stay. Easier and dryer in unit was a definite plus! Great time to visit without the over crowding that typically happens in the late Spring/summer time.
Cons: Older building/unit that could use a refresh. The living room sofa bed was immense but I don’t recommend it for anyone with back problems as it wasn’t very supportive. We visited in March and sadly it wasn’t the warmest of weeks in HHI. "

"Needs a little Help
We have stayed in this rental previously; however it needs a little help. The patio chairs are too uncomfortable to sit on. There are only 2 teaspoons. The toilet plunger is sitting on a Walmart bag. Seriously? The shower curtain liner is too short so the floor always gets wet when used. Invest in a new liner, more silverware, a new plunger, and new patio chairs. The bed pillows are very uncomfortable. You make $45,000.00 a year on rental income, please put some back into this unit. The bathroom walls are filthy. Some deep cleaning needs done. "

"The Breakers unit 109
My husband and I would stay at The Breakers again but not in Unit 109. It is located on the end of floor where outside stairs are so you hear all foot traffic. Also outside light is on all night and bedroom by the front door so light is coming in bedroom window. Even though there were blinds on window there was no curtain and light coming in was bright so we had to hook blanket on nails that were sticking out at top of window. We were constantly kicked out of the internet which was aggravating. Also, there wasn't anywhere to put our luggage except table chairs but there was a large closet in hall that had plenty of empty space in it that 2 fold able luggage racks in it would have been very helpful. Our backs don't allow us to bend to the floor to get in our luggage or we would have put them on closet floor.The place is very small which was sufficient for the two of us but couldn't have put luggage on the floor and still have walking room. So we had to eat sitting on couch because luggage was on table chairs. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient to stores and restaurants so yes we would recommend the Breakers to friends and family. We were only there 3 nights so we didn't go to any activites or attractions because we were there to get some much needed relaxation time. We did enjoy couple restaurants: The Skull Creek Boathouse was very good food and located on the water. We ate in their beautiful outdoor area and enjoyed live musician. We also liked San Miguel for some Mexican food and again beautiful location on water next to the yacht club. "

"Approaching hurricane spoils vacation
We paid for 8 days only stayed 4 days. Business closed last day we were there Couldn’t enjoy the beach due to high winds and blowing sand Unit was in good condition with the exception of the condition of the shower curtain liner. The oven didn’t have instructions. "

"Great location. Needs updating
Location is great. Management/rental company are very professional and great to work with; made the check-in/check-out a very easy process. The rental property has nice flooring and updated kitchen however could use a bit more kitchen furnishings. The bathroom is very old and outdated, needs to be upgraded and a good general cleaning. The bedroom needs window treatments to block the outdoor stair lighting as it hits right in your face while trying to sleep."

"Great Getaway
First impession is it is small. It was just me so this was not an issue. Could be tight for even a couple if spending very much time in the unit. Maintenance of the unit was good. Appeared freshly painted on arrival, so much so that it needed to be aired out for a couple days, not a big problem. Any maintenance issues were handled easily with management (new coffee maker, clock fell off the wall). Found about 5 burnt out light bulbs but there were plenty of spares in the unit so no problem there. There were enough starter items (soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc) but shopping required if you're there for more than a week. Didn't use the stove but lots of dinner and silverware. Nice to have the full size fridge. The grounds are nice, parking looks tight but seems to be plenty, I never had an issue. The pool is very nice (and heated), could get crowded once the weathe gets really warm. Location is absolutely great. On the beach and right at Coligny. You can hear music and party from nearby resort but not too late into the night. The only real issue I had was noise from unit above (209). Lots of thumping at pretty much all hours was very annoying. I would definitely come back but would look for a higher unit."

"My Little Home at the BEACH
This little place truly became my little home at the beach. It had everything that I needed and provided much more than the local over priced local Hotels. I did a little cooking, a little wash and got a lot of sun. Walks on the beach at night and morning sunrise... will be returning very soon!"

"Great Location
We have stayed at The Breakers roughly 20 times over the years. This unit is oceanfront and nice. The only negative would be the bathroom. Could use some serious updating. Other than that, it was fine."

"Tiny, but well equipped
GREAT location, clean and well equipped but know it is very small. My one major complaint is that the mattress in the only bedroom is in desperate need of replacement!!! Ended up sleeping on the couch it was so bad!!! Other than that, it had all we needed and was such a great location, that if the mattress is replaced, would book again."

"Never again
I requested a room that was private, quiet, and had an ocean view. I was looking at some rooms on the third floor. I was offered room 109 with the assumption that I was getting a room with a view etc. etc. The room had no view unless you like palm trees. The floorboards on the deck were all up, splintered ,nails up, an accident waiting to happen. The lint trap in the dryer was disgustingly full and a fire hazard. The noise was terrible. No one told me the property next-door played live music from one in the afternoon until five and six till 11. Also, waste management picked up the trash at least twice at 6 AM. We all know the sound the trucks backing up make. Very loud beep, beep, beep. We had to go out and buy 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. Don’t know why those couldn’t have been at the villa, next to nothing for amenities. Even the clock didn’t work. My first shower already had hair in it, not mine! Not sure the headboard on the bed was attached properly. It squeaked loudly on every little movement. I feel like this unit was dumped on me. It probably never gets rented!"

"Nice location, but overall dissatisfied with this condo.
Nice location for a rental property at the beach, but overall I was extremely dissatisfied with this condo. The only bed was very uncomfortable, the walls were dirty, the condo smelled of mold, and you could hear constant foot traffic all night since the only bedroom is right beside the main stairwell for the building. "

"A closer view of the Ocean.....Coligny Circle!!
After several years of renting in the same location our landlord sold their unit!! What were we to do?? Having friends in life is so key to success on every level, I reached out to my dear friend to inquire about her fathers condos!!! We got together over the phone and she hooked us up with the rental agent, Turtle Getaways. From there we decided on the 1bedroom unit at the Breakers. Upon check in we were told that we might be able to get in a little earlier than the 4:00 check in..from there we were pleasantly surprised and happy with our selection. There were just 2 items that we brought to the attention of Turtle Getaway, a cracked tile on the floor and the freezer making a “straining” noise every so often. This eventually subsided all in its own or possibly after we turned on the Ice Maker?!? Who knows. The view of the ocean on a daily basis was a deal maker!! One other issue outside of the unit was the pool area! This definitely needs better attention. Garbage cans were overflowing and way too many pool “toys” were left in and around the pool area from people unknown!?? These items seemed to multiply from day to day u til one day, someone must have finally tossed them. We loved the closeness to all of the amenities...the pool, the ocean and the Coligny Circle venues!!! I’m sure that we will be repeating our visits."

"Convenience and Ocean View
This unit is in a convenient location right across them Coligny Plaza. You can walk to many shops and restaurants, which was a big plus so we didn't have to drive to all over for dinner and shopping once we checked in. And we enjoyed our ocean view side it was an oceanfront unit!!
The only downside is the master bedroom is facing stairs and you can hear people taking outside clearly. Also you can hear loud music into the night from a bar next to the complex. If you a night owl, it may not bother you, but it was a bit uncomfortable to us.
The unit was clean and had all the basics we needed in the kitchen. The management company was very helpful to accommodate us for arriving after their office hours. Thank you for a great stay!"

Great beach location with ocean views. Heated pool and beach are both close to the unit. Some kitchen utensils need upgrading. The can opener and wine opener are unusable. There are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. "

"Perfect weekend getaway
Hilton Head is a beautiful, relaxing area. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The condo was small but sufficient. The main issue was the bedroom was on the wall in front at the stairs and when people would stomp down at the stairs at 6 AM, it was disruptive. Everything was okay in the condo. Loved the access to the park area beside the condo and access to the beach was the best! Could stay again but would prefer a condo higher up for a better view (they were trimming the bushes and trees as we left). Otherwise, it was great. Great food in the area too. "

"Breakers 109 -- Fourth of July Week
Pictures and description were accurate. Nice ocean view for a first floor unit. Short walk to the pool and beach.
Because of the unit's location on the property, you will hear music from the hotel nearby until fairly late into the evening. We were OK with it, but those who turn in early should be aware. Unit was nicely equipped but note there is not a conventional oven. There is a combo microwave/convection oven.
Unit was clean. Pool area was clean. There was some litter around the grounds and path to the beach.
Parking was very limited, and there were times when a space was not available. We stayed during a VERY busy week, so this is understandable... but still could be frustrating.
Overall we were happy with Breakers and will likely return. "
