18.) CANCELLATION POLICY- For a refund of moneys, cancellation must be in writing and received 91 days prior to your arrival date. The cancellation fee will be 10% of the rental rate. Cancellations within 46-90 days will result in the loss of the 40% deposit unless we are able to re-rent the Dwelling for the same rate and time period. No refunds will be made for cancellations received 45 days or less prior to arrival unless the Dwelling is re-rented for the same rate and time period. If the Dwelling is re-rented, then a 10% cancellation fee will apply. For this reason, we highly recommend that you consider purchasing the optional travel insurance.

The villa was clean and comfortable, with walking distance to the tennis and pickleball courts, the Salty Dog restaurant, and the beach. Restaurants and shops were also just a short drive away, which made the location very convenient. We did experience a small challenge with flooding in the complex due to unusually heavy rain, but Sea Turtle Getaways provided good support throughout. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely rebook again." The beds were ok but could use mattress pads or some sort of softening and honestly would be more visually appealing with a bed skirt or something over the box spring part. I do think the unit is overpriced for the condition it is in, but it was ok for our short stay. The front door lock needs to be replaced or repaired, it is not in proper working condition. The windows need a good cleaning because nothing should distract from that view. I would recommend the location to a friend but not this specific rental. They did come out and fix the broken dryer, but left the lint on the floor. The location is great, but I wouldn't stay in this condo again." She accused my grandchildren of jumping on the beds and at the time she complained we were all sleeping except me, my husband and my 45 year old son. I dismissed that and my son said I'm sorry but all children are asleep. She came again that afternoon and said the same thing and cursed at my grandchild that answered the door. I spoke with her and told her that she was mistaken I was there and two she had spoken to were playing on their computers. She threated my grandson with calling security and throwing us out. That disturbed him greatly and he was very sad the rest of the time we were there. If we had been disturbing anyone I would have apologized and scolded my grandchildren but it was not the case. I believe that the lady below us just did not want anyone renting that condo, that for us was not cheap. I would not rent that condo again because of her. I was running the washer and dryer a lot. Our villa was spacious and beautiful. We were across from the Salty Dog and the Marina which was handy. But alas, we had to travel about 10-15 min to get anywhere else, although it is an awfully pretty ride while you"re traveling!"
