"Unit 122 Ocean One Overall unit was great however kitchen lacked impt items such as hot pads or lifting mats, measuring cups of assorted sizes and very few forks were available. The condo was clean and in a great location! It is walking/biking distance from Coligny Beach Park and shopping area as well as many great restaurants. Ocean One is one of our favorite places to stay. Seashore Vacations Inc. staff were friendly, professional, and took care of anything needed in relation to the rental in a timely fashion. This year however not so much , the unit itself was actually not very clean , light bulbs blown over showers , broken glass in lighting fixtures, the washing machine broke while trying to wash our towels . It was not very well equipped for cooking at all . Then to top that off they are doing construction which were told would start after our stay they put scaffolding right outside the door of our unit ! Also parking to load or unload anything was quite difficult . Plus we were charged basically like summer rates for this in September , rather disappointed . On a positive when I called about some of the issues they did send someone to address them. Walking distance to food, 2 min walk to the beach and a place for bikes to be dropped off. Silverware drawer was broken, light bulbs burned out, screen for patio broken. I Sent 3 emails to management with no reply so I drove back to their office. They sent a guy with a screwdriver and some light bulbs. My wife used a mop to scrub all the tile. Received a 10% refund. Not sufficient given ALL the issues ans lack of response from Seashore Vacations. Would never rent another property managed by this company. We had a leak in one of the bedrooms and the washer was broken but when we called seashore vacations, they were quick to send someone out to fix both issues and even offered to pick up and do our laundry for us while we waited for it to be repaired. The dishwasher was not screwed in to the countertop and kept falling forward which I repaired while there. A piece of the washer kept falling out, I could not fix. The carpet needs replaced, lots of stains on the carpet. The maintenance man the worked on the property was super nice and greeted us every morning and worked very hard on the property. Air conditioning vents have visible mold on them. 2. Underneath beds and sofa there were things discovered – candy wrappers, pencil, etc. 3. The sofa bed mattress was dirty and had stains. 4. The dishwasher was not screwed to secure it to the counter and tipped forward. 5. The formica countertop was very old – we had this same formica in our new home built in 1989. It needs replaced because of scorched places and chips. 6. The exhaust fan in one of the bathrooms didn’t work. 7. Several pieces of furniture had broken handles and drawers. 8. When we arrived the vacuum cleaner was not picking up anything. I requested a replacement, whereupon when I vacuumed the master bedroom it picked up approximately 1⁄2 cup of sand. This is unacceptable considering it had been cleaned prior to our arrival. 9. The linens supplied had noticeable stains that could not have been missed by the cleaning staff or linen supplier; this is incomprehensible that you would serve guests damaged towels and washcloths. 10. It could have used a deep cleaning. Base boards really needed to be cleaned , floors could have been cleaner, and the kitchen faucet was broke but still useable. We loved the pool and beach area! We ate at several restaurants and all were excellent except Wild Wings! That place was terrible. Bad service and the chicken fingers were not cooked completely!"
