The Captains Walk Villas offer sensational oceanfront views plus
an oceanfront pool and baby pool right on site for the guests of
Captains Walk & Captains Cove. This villa provides an oceanfront
view from the kitchen to the master bedroom and is just steps to
the beach.
415 Captains Walk, located on the 3rd floor, has a panoramic
oceanfront view from the private balcony that is accessible
from the living room of the villa. The villa is comfortably suited for
up to 6 guests. The kitchen has been remodeled in 2022-23 and
features all the main appliances along with all the things you will
need for your vacation to cook and eat in if you so choose. There
is a dining area that will seat up to 6 guests and the comfortable
living area with a flat screen Smart TV to enjoy.
The villa has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The oceanfront master
bedroom features a king bed along with a private bathroom. The
walk in shower has been completely renovated in 2023. There is a
dressing area and plenty of closet space for your use. There is a
flat screen Smart TV in the master bedroom also.
The 2nd bedroom features 2 double beds. Great place for another couple
or for up to 4 kids! The 2nd bathroom is accessible from both the hallway
and the bedroom directly. This bathroom features a bathtub/shower
combination. The 2nd bedroom also has a TV for your enjoyment.
This oceanfront villa is comfortably furnished & offers FREE WIFI.
Captain Walk's guest can easily walk to the PD Racquet Club for a
tennis match or pickleball game, the famous General Store (known for their
breakfast & lunch meals!) and/or to the Palmetto Dunes Outfitters where you can
rent bike, a kayak or canoe to go explore the 11 Mile Waterways that winds itself
throughout the Resort. Highly recommend renting a bike as their are numerous
bike trails inside and outside the resort to enjoy. Shelter Cove is located just
across from Palmetto Dunes and features Tuesday night fireworks during the
summer months (Mid June-Mid August) and is full of shops, restaurants and
marina activities that are easy to access.

18.) CANCELLATION POLICY- For a refund of moneys, cancellation must be in writing and received 91 days prior to your arrival date. The cancellation fee will be 10% of the rental rate. Cancellations within 46-90 days will result in the loss of the 40% deposit unless we are able to re-rent the Dwelling for the same rate and time period. No refunds will be made for cancellations received 45 days or less prior to arrival unless the Dwelling is re-rented for the same rate and time period. If the Dwelling is re-rented, then a 10% cancellation fee will apply. For this reason, we highly recommend that you consider purchasing the optional travel insurance.

"Beautiful landscaped, wonderful views and well maintained
The unit we stayed in was nicely decorated and well furnished. The proximity to the beach was fantastic. My only complaint with the actual unit is the commode seat in the master bath was broke and someone tried repairing it versus buying a new one. Please, splurge the $40 in a new seat. It literally takes 2 hands to raise/lower the lid. Also, the secondary bath tub drain is slow. You end up standing in a few inches of water when showering. Beyond that, the unit was great. Those are. It’s easy fixes. We did notice sand in the sheets prior to us ever getting in the bed. Kind of an uneasy feeling.... As far as the complex, the groundskeepers do a wonderful job at maintaining the property. The complex needs to stay on top of the pest control for the actual building though. We did observe roaches in the stairwell (as we seldom used the elevator). That has nothing to do the actual unit though! The deer grazing out back was a nice surprise. "

The view from the condo was great, the space was smaller but fit our family of 4 just right! Everything was there that we needed. My only recommendation would be to have higher chairs on the porch do you could see the beach without looking through the railing!! "

The condo is beautiful, has great views, was very clean at arrival and is convenient to many things on Hilton Head Island. We would certainly stay here again. The property management company was just great! Arrival to pick up parking passes went well and when a minor issue came up, they came and addressed it within hours."

Overall a great place to stay! Great location. Easy pool
And beach access. Unit was clean and pleasing to the eye. Plenty of drawers and closets to store items. Palmetto Dunes is great for running or biking along fully shaded trails. WiFi throughout the resort is weak. Was difficult to sustain phone calls, or use internet without it lagging. "

"Vacation 2022
Location is fabulous. Rental company does outstanding job. However owners needs to do some serious updating to this unit in both bathrooms and return vents in living room. The tiles in both bathroom showers have mildew in the grout and this cannot be removed by just cleaning. The faucet in the master bathroom tub is worn out and ready to fall off. The return air vent will n living room is rusted and full of dust/dirt. There isn’t a pizza pan or pizza cutter in kitchen. If I was rating this on just the location and rental company I would give it a 5 but owners need to update if they want top dollar for their rental."

Beautiful condo. Wonderful location, great pool, and steps from the beach. The condo was very clean and I had no complaints at all. I would suggest maybe a couple of rugs on the way in to catch some of the sand I brought back with me. I would rent this unit again!"

"Much needed updates
We always stay at captains walk, this being year 13. This was the worst property we have ever stayed in yet the pricing was the same as much nicer units. The unit is very dated. There were no rugs not even one inside the door to collect sand. None of the bedding stayed on the beds. We never did get the tv to work well and we are very techy people. The bathroom door does not fit properly and made a loud noise anytime you used it. The toaster does not work. However, the staff at Sea Turtles was very nice and helpful. We did enjoy the use of the beach chairs. For that price we will stay in a different unit next year. "

"Disappointed
We arrived to the condo just after check in time and ready to hit the pool. The pool area had been under construction with plans to be completed by end of March. Come April 15 the pool was still closed... We did not receive communication that the date had been delayed. Had we received that we would have made other arrangements. We found the condo very dated and just clean enough. It was very obvious that the floors were only cleaned with swiffer pads rather than CLEANED. The showers are almost impossible to turn off and on. New handles needed. The children could not get them going alone. On a positive note plenty of bathroom towels were available. "

"Condo was very dirty
The showers had black mold, the floors were dirty, the washer was dirty, table in livingroom was dirty, washing machine was dirty. Company offered to send cleaning crew. I didn't want people back in the condo, so I asked for new shower curtain liners and cleaning supplies Company brought supplies and we cleaned ourselves. Company stated that it was because it was the end of the season and deep cleaning needed to be done. This was so satisfactory. The only plus was that there was a great view of the ocean and very close to the boardwalk and pool."

The ocean views from this property were amazing and we loved the very short walk to the beach. The unit was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The bathrooms were in need of updating but were functional.
The Palmetto Dunes location is so accessible to dining and attractions on Hilton Head and we are already talking about renting this unit again."

Was not our first choice as Shorewood was but they were doing construction there at the time. We enjoyed our stay at 415 again this year. We hope to be able to return next year. The only problem is that the ceiling paint was peeling. "Captains Walk 415 - Awesome vacation location
Wonderful vacation spot. Very convenient short walk to the to the beach. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. We saw dolphins every day. Clean and comfortable. air conditioning worked well! My only complaint was the stovetop burners did not all function and the kitchen sink water pressure was very low. Overall great vacation experience. "

"Fabulous Ocean Front View
415 Captains Walk is in a great location and has a wonderful ocean front view and pool. The management company was very pleasant to work with. The only thing that would have made our stay better is if the kitchen and bathrooms were updated. They need a facelift - formica countertops and old appliances, no granite. It was very clean, but a bit dated. We were told this when we made the reservation, so it was not a surprise. I would recommend this villa."

The location is perfect for beach activities, biking, kayaking the inland waterways or strolling through the large and beautiful resort area of Palmetto Dunes. We were so happy with this rental. The view from the private balcony was superb. The beach and pool was perfect, not crowded at all. The building was quiet. The location was great. You can walk to a store, to dinner, bike rental, etc."

"Gorgeous View
We have stayed at Captain's Walk before and were excited to come back. You just can't beat the direct, oceanfront view that every building in the complex enjoys. The grounds are beautiful; the pool is very beautiful at night. The only suggestion I'd make is ceiling fans for the bedrooms."
