Visitor Reviews (41) Write a Review! "Nice place to stay We really enjoyed ourselves. I loved the spaciousness of the unit. I love that it was adequately equipped. I loved the location relative to the beach. If I had to make a suggestion I would suggest that you put more trash bins around. It would be great to have a trash can in every room so that people could adequately dispose of things and at the end of the visit we would just have to put all the trash together and take it out. The other thing would be to cut back the foliage from the trees so that we could enjoy the deck. There was too much hanging in order for us to enjoy the deck and definitely could not enjoy the grill because of the tree limbs hanging. And keeping the deck full of pollen. While the staff at Seashore Vacations were very nice, I think they could have done a better job at selecting a more suitable vacation home for their vacationers ! Living in NJ, we don’t have the advantage of inspecting a home until after our arrival, which we would hope the realty company might do in choosing the home rentals which they represent! I have been coming to Hilton Head Island for the past 30 years staying at various properties throughout the island, unfortunately I must rate the unit which I shared with 3 other roommates as very disappointing! Beachwalk 210, left little to be desired! Although it has a nice layout, 4 baths 3 bedrooms and outdoor deck, we could not fully enjoy the space. The bedrooms had carpet, which must be the original since the unit was built, as it was dirty and smelled of mildew! The shower curtains were also dirty with mold! We witnessed several ants in the unit as well! The dishes had to be rewashed, as they too were dirty! We had to return a bed pillow that was stained, clearly the maintenance is lacking in the place! Additionally, all of my previous stays have provided courtesy condiments, salt, pepper, coffee, teas, etc! This unit only provided 2 packs of dish powder & 1 packet of detergent! Beachwalk is a beautiful community, however it’s unfortunate we could not fully appreciate the inside of our unit as we had anticipated we would!" Aug 21, 2024 - "Enjoyed the family time We rented a 3 bedroom 3 1/2 bath condo and it was exactly what we needed for our family time at the beach. We had plenty of space to relax without being on top of each other - 4 adults, 2 teens, 2 toddlers. The toddlers were able to take their naps without being disturbed and without others having to be conscious of them napping based on volume and space. The kitchen provided most of the items that we needed and was very user friendly. The walk to the beach was easy - a little longer than we anticipated but worked well for our family. We enjoyed sunsets and a sunrise. We also enjoyed grilling out back and utilizing the beach gear credit to have bikes for our trip." The home had a musty smell upon arrival and foul odor from garbage disposal. kitchen is not adequately equipped with pots/pans . Shelve in fridge was broken as well as broken shelves in pantry. Tubs very slow to drain and mold on all the vents which made my week miserable due to allergies. Even if this is an investment property with an absentee owner I would think the Seashore management would of ensured the upkeep of the condo . We will not be renting here again but it won’t keep us from returning to HHI in the future . The last thing you need on vacation is to have to fight for a parking space. Each unit needs 2 dedicated parking spaces with additional overflow parking. Also,I live in SC. I know how to operate a 2-unit AC system. The AC did not work correctly from day one. What's more important than AC in SC! Positives - sorta close to overcrowded Beach, 3.5 bathrooms, very roomy." There were no instructions and tricky to use. We had some rain our week so we spent some time in the condo. The main TV had a large red line down the middle of the screen. I would suggest upgrading to smart TVs. Most people have subscriptions to streaming apps like Netflix and Disney Plus." We had an issue when we got there with air conditioning not working on second floor. Called management and they were there within minutes. Only negative issue was that the place was supposed to a a queen size bed in one of the rooms. It did not. It had a queen size head board with full size mattress. My daughter and son inlaw had to drag another full bed from another room to that room, so that they could sleep comfortably. We would book this unit again if the queen size bed issue was resolved." This condo was one of the nicer ones with updated finishes. Although, not beach front, Beachwalk is the shortest walk to the beach in Shipyard. Even so, the unit comes with a beach parking permit so it's easy to drop-off and pick up beach chairs/tent, etc. Everything was great, except the G. Foreman BBQ grill didn't work and the exterior trash cans weren't adequate to keep out the raccoons. The view off the deck isn't very nice, but investment in the updates to the interior and the close proximity to the beach make up for it." A huge plus were the 3.5 bathrooms - each bedroom had its own bathroom. The beach is just a short walk down the path adjacent to the condo. No busy streets to navigate! Everything seemed modern and recently updated. Our only complaints were missing or not being able to find a couple of kitchen items we needed and a leak in the atrium glass. It was clear the owner did not know about the leak and that it was believed to have been repaired previously. We enjoyed that fact that linens, towels, and other supplies were provided.
