Courtside 10 has been remodeled in 2018 with all new furniture, new flooring, new appliances, new bedding and decor, new bathrooms and a brand new kitchen with quartz counters. This fresh update makes this unit one of the best offered at Courtside. Flat Screen TV's and Wireless internet gives you all the comforts of home. This unit is a ground floor flat with no steps. The patio is just off the pool area directly behind the unit. There is also a secondary pool to use across the parking lot. The unit is an end unit which also means privacy and additional light streaming in the extra large window in the dining room. Courtside is 1.5 blocks from the beach and next door to Van Der Meer Tennis Center. A special membership with Van Der Meer provides Courtside guests with tennis privileges up to one hour per day per condo. This community has two on-site pools, a lagoon with fountain, and parking at the front door of each property. Courtside is within 3 blocks of Coligny Plaza, the Beach Market and Park. This quaint downtown area offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. King bed in Primary BR, Bunk Bed in BR 2 with double bed and twin bed on top. We contacted Seashore about several issues we wanted addressed with the property and although they were nice enough on the phone not much was done to address the issues we raised with them. The master bath was tiny, the shower leaked onto the floor likely because the glass doors lacked proper installation. There was also a moldy type substance on the rubber molding which was suppose to seal the shower door. The cleaning people left a used bar of soap. I was glad I brought my own soap. The master bedroom door will not properly close. There were towels left in a bag on the living room floor. The wall behind the kitchen garbage can was dirty with food that didn't make it into the can. When I moved the trash can in the kitchen, the floor was very dirty. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The rug in the guest bathroom was dirty but the rental company did send someone to remove it but didn't replace it with a clean rug. The front door to the unit doesn't open all the way. On the positive side the furniture was in good condition and was comfortable. The beds were also relatively comfortable. Nearby grocery store Harris Teeter was nice surprise and a boon to our home dining plans. As we are COVID-19 cautious we elected to mostly cook and eat at Courtside 10. The property's general condition would rate a 3 or less for maintenance and amenities such as decent pillows, dishes and eating utensils -- 3 soups spoons, and maybe 5 teaspoons of varying patterns and quality. Had to wash all of the dishes and flatware we used, as well as pots and pans before first use. Master Bath had a broken shower door with one of the two doors gone, and the other just set (not hung) in the track. A temporary shower curtain line had been strung on a rod inside the show. Not only not up to the quality of the unit, but potentially dangerous. There was also water damage in the ceiling of the second bedroom that needed attention. On a positive note, the unit did initially appear as it did in the listing on VRBO, Light and bright with updated furnishings and a nice kitchen. It also had 5G WIFI which was a boon to those of us working remotely. Property was fairly clean, but there were dust bunnies under some of the high legged pieces which were visible. Not sure if the owners or the property management had any COVID 19 rules they followed, as both the bathrooms had soft high-napped rugs which were dirty and should be replaced or at least washed after each new set of occupants. Other rugs in the unit all were a flat nap which could be cleaned with a vaccum. Dryer vent was clogged with old lint from many dryings both inside and outside the unit. Property Management rates a 4. The later check in at 4 pm with the office closing at 5 pm does not give much of a window. In its current condition, I would not recommend this unit to a friend.
