Cancellations within 46-90 days will result in the loss of the 40% deposit unless we are able to re-rent the Dwelling for the same rate and time period. No refunds will be made for cancellations received 45 days or less prior to arrival unless the Dwelling is re-rented for the same rate and time period. Some of the furniture could use an upgrade but still fine. The room with the queen and two twins worked out well for our kids. I liked that the management company mailed us a packet in advance with the car passes and information so that we didn’t have to stop anywhere to pick it up when we arrived. One thing we noticed the condo lacked which we typically get at other rentals is a closet with leftover toys/beach supplies. The condo is a bit of a walk to the pool but not too far that you’d need to drive. We typically drive to the beach when we stay in Evian but it would also be an easy bike. Things they could improve on 1st floor mattress needs to be replaced as you roll to the center! First floor carpeting needs to be replaced or switched to some other non-carpet option. They could use more kitchen items. I think it's time for inventory & new replacement items in this unit. New couches would be good too. Appreciated having 2 coffee carafes. We reported 8 lights out. They came right away and replaced 5. The ceiling fan light issue over the dining room table was never addressed by an electrician while we were there. We were missing 2 pillow cases in the first floor bedroom. Didn't realize it until later the first night. They dropped some off when we reported it that next day. The unit could use a deep cleaning. There was a resident alligator in the back by the water to just be aware of. No real threat since we stayed away. We enjoyed our stay!" We have stayed in Sea Pines in years past and believe the location was as good, if not better. We liked that it was pet-friendly and came with free tennis, unlike some condos in sea pines. However, the tennis code given to us was incorrect. Luckily, another renter gave us the correct key code. The home was also in need of some upkeep. (Dings, Knicks, clogged dryer vents, and stained carpets.) The furniture was dated and the beds were quite uncomfortable. Also, a grill was offered, but no grill utensils. (Something easily rectified, but still inconvenient.) If the place was thoroughly cleaned and freshened up, I would not hesitate to stay there again. There did appear to be a pet odor in the condo upon check-in, our dog is fully trained and he definitely was as able to sniff out the remnants of the prior furry friends. Despite the lack of cleaning, we really enjoyed the location and our stay at HHI. Evian had everything we wanted except for a heated pool. We are tennis players and loved the accessibility of the tennis courts. Courts were never full so slew had no trouble hopping on whenever we wanted. We had an awesome vacation and was sad to leave 240 Evian. The villa was clean when we arrived and decorated beautifully. It was in a great location and my whole family enjoyed watching the wildlife from the back patio along with the golfers across the lagoon. We named the gator Jethro and he kept his distance as did we. Every dealing I had with Sea Turtle Getaway was extremely quick, efficient and kind. I hope to use them again in the future. Our villa was ready on time even though there were no vacancies left. The cleaning crew didn’t do the most diligent cleaning carpets but I was happy to get and unload. The villa hasn’t been updated in while. Scuff marks on paint, indoor and patio furniture a little older, stove top aged, no lights in ceiling fans, charcoal grill, no plastic spoons for cooking, no blender and lacking any storage containers, lack of dish sponge and basis cleaning supplies. Their were some bugs as advertised in literature but they were dead or dying. Good vacuuming on a rain day, blender and food storage containers dropped off, purchase of dish sponge and additional garbage bags definitely improved experience. The wifi worked well the TVs were adequate but did not have ESPN in package, master bed was a little hard, A/C worked great, ice machine was efficient, stairs to second floor will give you a decent work out. Location was great for not being on beachfront. We were able to ride bikes to Shipyard beach access. The Shipyard beach parking is very limited get there early or you are better off leaving vehicles at Villa. Collapsible wagon was great pickup before left. There are deer that are always on hole around corner. Plenty of alligators in main ponds to ponder at. The walking/bike paths are excellent way to get exercise and are for the most part all shaded and flat. Garbage and recycling bins are very close. All and all the 240 Evian wasn’t the most elegant place we have stayed but proximity to beach, dog & budget friendly, with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms was enjoyable experience for first timer. When I did laundry, the dryer took 3 hours to dry. Tub in the master bedroom does not drain. There are approximately 14 stairs to go upstairs that are SO steep. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and plates. Laundry room was good addition to the unit. Beach was close. 10 min with bikes, 20 min walking. This unit is in the center of everything. Pool, tennis very close by.Bike to the city was a breeze. Totally recommend it ! We enjoyed our stay! Gave 4 stars for Clean Property because unit had fault smell. Since it is pet friendly unit we can't really complain. But seemed that maybe someone before us had untrained puppy. This had plenty of room for each of the kids to have their own bed and plenty of space for all of us. Kitchen was well stocked with all utensils we needed to cook breakfast and dinner each night. Beach is easily within walking distance although we rode bikes or drove due to all the stuff we carted with us for the beach. Bike riding within Shipyard is fantastic and easy to get to Coligny Square. Nice little patio out back overlooking the golf course. There was no clean-up of debris in Evian, while the rest of Shipyard had bike trails and roads cleared by the next day. Trees were down, limbs, etc all over Evian. Unsure why clean-up wasn't done there, but bike paths were unsafe. The condo is well located, close to the beach access and centrally located within Shipyard. We loved the view of the lagoon and golf tees from the 2nd floor master bedroom. Enjoyed the festive lights on the patio. Each bedroom felt private and quiet from other activity within the unit. Parking was ample. Decor/furniture was dated and 'used', but ok. I would recommend it to friends traveling with pets who are looking for great location at reasonable cost. We didn't have time to use the pool or tennis courts. Issues: AC didn't work the first night, but was repaired the next day when we reported it. Dead cockroaches and ants behind the TV cabinet, bathroom doors, behind other furniture. So we were careful to clean the kitchen counters, eating utensils, cooking pans before using. Towels and sheets are very thin like cheap hotel quality. Kitchen supplies could use a handheld electric mixer. Had trouble getting the downstairs TV to display cable, but worked fine in all bedrooms. Would suggest a door mat at each backdoor as debris is easily tracked inside to carpet.
