"Nice location, sub par unit
We really enjoyed the general property. The beach was nice and the pool area was nice. We liked the ice cream shop and the location but our unit 1412 was pretty much a mess. They were towel holder things in the walls. There was peeling paint baseboards were coming off. It seemed like the bare minimum of a unit you would rent to someone. I would consider staying in another unit but definitely not the one we stayed in by some family members of ours rented another unit and it was much nicer for paying close to $5000 I expected a lot more"

"Clearly unwanted property
We hav stayed at Waters Edge many times throughout the years and have never been this disappointed with the quality of our condo. Truly shocked at the lack of care taken in the unit. Drywall sparkling patches, painted over nails, screws and various hardware protruding from the walls. Ceiling mold and water damage. Rusted and dirty furniture, missing cushions from patio furniture, dirty pots and pans, moldy shower curtain. When it rained it leaked in the front bedroom and there was also a 3 inch puddle outside the condo door."

"Family Holiday Stay
Our overall stay was fantastic. The location, view and amenities were fantastic. This particular condo however Is in need of a makeover. The kitchen was nice but the rest of the unit needs renovating. Paint was peeling in the bedroom and everything else was kind of out of date"

"No Heat, No Air Conditioning, No Jacuzzi, Oh My
When we arrived we checked in and went to our room. We found out when we got to the room that the entire place did not have any heating or air conditioning. I went straight to the office and spoke to the girl behind the counter. I asked her why we were not told about the heating and air when we booked our stay (we upgraded a week before to accommodate our son and his family) and still wasn’t told about the heat and air being out. She said we should have been told when we changed our reservation. She said she would refund us if we decided to leave but if we stay she would give us a discount. I told her we would stay that night and I would let her know in the morning if we decided to stay. Again she said if we stay she would give us a discount. We decided to stay since we had family staying there. Went to see her and she said the best she could do was an $85 discount. I was not happy this was $85 for the entire week. We stayed for 6 days. Needless to say I was not happy I was not unfriendly because it wasn’t her fault but I was not happy. Turns out both hot tubs were not working either both were drained and roped off. We were not told about that either. We ended up only getting an email stating we will be receiving a $43.98 discount which is not the $85 we were promised. They were also doing work on the balconies on the other side of the building and that noise on top of everything else was very disappointing. There are a lot of snowbirds staying there and they were not happy at all with the air being out and the noise. Very disappointed with our stay. We paid alot of money for our vacation which should have included heating and air, peace and quiet, and jacuzzi time. "

"Amazing view
My unit was pretty outdated, pictures were probably old. Carpets had stains. Master bedroom you could barely see out the sliding door for the ocean view it was so water stained. Elevator wait is crazy. Room still had garbage under beds. "

"1412 Waters Edge
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waters Edge. We couldn’t have asked for better facilities or location! We were just steps from the ocean and beautiful balcony views. The condo was in great shape and had everything we could have possibly needed. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of bathroom space for our crew and the kitchen was very well equipped. The best part of course was the view from our full length balcony! We will definitely be back!"

"love the beach and hate to leave
the virus made the stay different this year with fewer snow birds. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for several days to fix a leak, and seemed really cold for me when it was open. Repairs on the balconies, were super noisy and lasted for 5 1/2 days a week for a few weeks. My guests were unhappy. Have been here for 5 yrs. and have enjoyed it in the past. Will surely come back and hope for more consideration for all of us who come for the winter."

"Our stay at 1412 Water's Edge for family vacation
My family and I were very excited for our week of vacation at Water's Edge in Myrtle Beach.We had never spent a week ocean front so we were especially excited.The view was fabulous.The unit was clean when we arrived.The beds were very comfortable.I was not as happy with the conditions in the kitchen.I feel that the kitchen supplies were atrocious.There was not a utensil that was free from rust.We had planned to eat meals in due to corona virus conditions so we were upset with the tools.There was not even a usable pan to cook eggs.I took a bowl from the cabinet which had dried food all over the outside.The washing machine is not connected to the water correctly so I ruined two shirts by washing in hot water when I set it to cold It appears the hot and cold are reversed This should be FIXED for future renters.The bathrooms are in bad need of update.The drains ran slow the water ran slow and took very long to empty.The indoor and outdoor pools were not clean.They need to be better maintained.

"check the weather kind of room
big puddle in living room rain blows under middle of sliding door I just mop a lot and collect it in little trash cans, celling in master bed room drips. Get a line of cans for that. 1412 has lots of trash cans you will need them. Not owners fault just that water follows cracks. Had big water bugs in front bed room killed 4. cob webs and lots of baby spiders and momma in living room all around top of wall. the big glass hanging light was so thick with dust fuzz. I killed water bugs. spiders left the webs for them to see, moped water up the whole time it rained and cleaned the light. And the rug in living room had a pee smell. Had to spray Lysol on it,it hasn't ever smelled before. if it doesn't rain its nice but needed to be cleaned better even had to wipe out veggies stuff from fridge. And washer was so unleveled put add booklet under to use. Left my top I was going to wear on road trip back home in master bed room closet called next day about it. but cleaning crew hasn't reported it. I am waiting for that to be mailed to me. Will see. "

"14th floor
The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was a 3 bedroom on the 14th floor with an amazing view and very clean with all we could have needed. Staff was friendly and inviting. Absolutely loved our experience and highly recommend staying here. We will be back!"

"Never Again!
I would not recommend this property to anyone for the simple fact that their elevator has not been working properly since September 2018 according to the permanent residents, the elevator technician and several maintenance men on-site who constantly had too rescue people from the same! We booked a condo several months ahead of the Memorial Day weekend. There was absolutely no disclosure that their elevators were not working properly which could pose a hindrance to anyone in our party that was handicapped. Furthermore, the property’s management, desk clerks and HOA’s byline “there is nothing we can do” is atrocious given that several permanent residents and guests are handicapped and unable to walk up or down multiple flights of stairs in 100 degree heat, thus being held hostage on high rise floors (there are 15 floors). Water’sEdge is not only in violation of their HOA condominium paperwork, they are also in violation of federal, state, county and veterans codes and ordinances. It makes one wonder who is being paid off to allow this atrocity to continue. Not only was the elevator issues non-disclosed, but the check in and check out times advertised on multiple websites as well on placards in the rooms were not honored. The condo we stayed in was certainly not worth the price we paid. The patio doors were in disrepair missing handles, fogged windows preventing one from seeing out, ceilings were damaged and crumbling (can you say lead paint!), multiple light fixtures did not work, towel racks were missing, etc. The pools had ducks swimming in them and were seriously over-chlorinated. One had only to walk by either of the pools to end up with burning eyes from the chlorine. This place was truly a shock to us upon arrival. I never waste my time to write reviews like this but felt that if I can spare one person the nightmare we experienced at this place then it would be worth it. You simply cannot believe anything youȁ"
