"Beach TRIP
It was a very clean and nice room we were very satisfied. The only complaint i would have is we were only allowed 1 parking pass as we came in 2 cars. We observed alot of cars with no passes as we went by the rules.We were in a 2 bedroom condo.I think you should get 2 passes for 2 bedroom condo"

We love staying at Water’s Edge Resort! The ocean front location is beautiful and close to sites we enjoy visiting such as Brookgreen Gardens and restaurants at Merril’s Inlet.
The condo was clean and well appointed with kitchen basics. Management was available and always helpful."

"Family vacation
We have been staying with Water Edge for at least 25 years. We brought our girls here with their friends when they were young now bringing our grands and brought youth groups down from church. We have always had good trips. I do appreciate the security around the pool keeping others from coming in off the beach that dont stay there. I do not like parking one car allowed to park is very hard there is no other parking the road is dangerous to leave a car on. We do love our visits "

"We Had a Great Time!
This was our first time in a two-bedroom unit at Water's Edge Resort, and we absolutely loved it! It was great to have the extra, full-size bathroom right beside the second bedroom. We were especially happy with the refrigerator in 0511 because the ice maker was convenient and right on the door. We had a great time and will be back to visit and stay with you again!"

"Keep looking. Should be advertised as budget motel.
This condo along with the resort common areas needs a MAJOR update. Our room #511 was clean but needed updating. The kitchen and living area was fine but bedrooms and bath were very dated. Bath was clean but chips on toilet seat, very old fixtures and chipping paint and dropped ceiling yellowed. Years of wear and tear. Grungy carpet in bdrms. Balcony walls do not extend far enough to make private. This wasn’t the case at neighboring hotels. Smoke from Nextdoor balcony was disappointing. Elevators had air fresheners to try to cover some horrible smell. All exterior surfaces need cleaning, paint and spruce up. The outdoor pool area was nice though. I would not recommend. This was not a discount hotel. You can do better somewhere else. "

"Different this year
We have been staying at Watersedge for 25+ years. We love it there!!
My only complaint is that this year all 3 rooms we booked were not clean.
I realize there is a shortage of workers but I was disappointed . The thing that has changed is the deposit required when you book a room. It was 10% last year but going up to 40% this year. I might start looking at houses. "

"Really enjoy this location and the layout of the pool/beach area.
We enjoy this location close to Murrells Inlet. It puts us in close proximity to our favorite restaurants and away from the heavier traffic areas farther North. We have stayed in three different units there and each had their own attributes. The one we stayed in this last time was definitely our favorite so far with tiled showers and nice heavy curtains to keep our room dark in the morning. Our only disappointment was that our room was not up to any standard of what I would call "clean", but in today's world I can't imagine how difficult it must be to accomplish the monumental task of finding enough staff to clean all those rooms in the little time they have between visitors. Happily, I brought Lysol wipes and quickly touched up all the surfaces and vacuumedthe missed sand piles and we were ready to start our vacation. We won't hesitate to stay again when we return to Garden City. "

Not that good! The beach was awesome however the condo was very dated! The living room & kitchen wasn’t to bad but the bedrooms & baths were awful. The unit wasn’t very clean especially the bathrooms! Would never stay there again!"

"Condo 511
The unit was just ok. The water pressure in the master bath was just a stream. Both bathrooms need updated. I’ve stayed in other units in waters edge where some amenities were in the room, such as beach chairs, basic kitchen condiments...this unit literally has nothing. The pillows are very hard and need to be replaced. I don’t think we will stay in this unit again unless there are updates. "

My family was very pleased with our choice to stay at Waters Edge Resort this fall and plan to return in the spring. Nice, clean and large rooms, comfortable furniture and a beautiful view. Very convenient location, 5 mins from Murrells Inlet and 15 mins from Myrtle Beach. "

"Overall Great Stay
We enjoyed our stay at Water's Edge. The only complaint we had was the beds were hard as a rock and very uncomfortable. Other than that our stay was great. The condo was clean and comfortable. The pools were nice and being right on the beach was perfect. Some more communication regarding the beach chair/umbrella rental would have been helpful. "

"Unkept
This was my seconded time at Waters Edge. My first time I had a one bedroom. While there the first time the building was under construction.
My return to this building the second time and this time took a 2 bedroom. The condo was okay, not great. The building however I will never stay again.
Dirty pool area, indoor hot tub was no longer in use. The pool outside had debris in it and the indoor is connected to it and looked dirty. So we did not use the pool. I could have rented anywhere cheaper. Shame how this building is maintained considering the amount they charge the homeowners."

we have stayed here for years on end and took a break in 2018 as we thought that the resort was not up to par, but coming back this year made it all better. we received a 20% discount. the room we originally rented was still being redone and we got to pick and stay in the room we wanted. room was awesome! received my deposit from pool bands quickly. have recommended lots of friends and family and many have stayed at this resort for their vacations. "

We stayed in room 511 which was excellent and clean. This place is amazing during bike week. Second time staying here and I would not stay anywhere else during bike week. Easy access to road and close to everything. Great parking garage for the bikes. Rooms are roomy that makes you feel like you at home. Will be back to stay here in May 2021. See you all then!!!!!!"

Very pleasant stay. We enjoy the amenities of the Waters Edge Resort. Have stayed in several different condos. 0511 was nice and clean. Loved the balcony furniture. Ample linens. Comfortable. This condo did not include any beach equipment that some other units have contained (boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, toys, etc.) We would stay here again. "
