"Home Away From Home
We love WaterEdge have been coming for a few years now. We appreciate Garden City. Our family appreciate the unit that rented for the week and was very pleased and they said it was excellent it was everything we told it would be. The one thing that our unit had was small amounts of water leaking through the floor and we had reported it to the office and they responded quickly and we were told that this had been on going problems since May 2025. With a pending storm and state emergency alert we were trying to reach someone in the office and was unable. Did end up reaching Emergency Management if Horry County who gave me the answers we needed. Having an emergency number in advance would be helpful. Everyone has been wonderful through the years we have been there. Thank you so very much.

The condo was very cute, up to date, nice amenities. They didn’t skimp
on kitchen supplies. It was very clean and the view was spectacular!
The beach chairs were a bonus!
The condo is in a great location to the surrounding area.

"The best getaway
We got away for a few days and this was our first time staying at Waters Edge. We fell in love with our condo and the surrounding areas. We will definitely return and would love to stay in the same condo. 10 out of 10 recommend. "

"The nicest condo
We have stayed at a number of units at Waters Edge. This unit was by far the nicest we’ve had. The furniture was also too nice for a rental. The condo was completely stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. It did lack a large pot but other than that very well accommodating. Even the balcony furniture was well appointed and heavy. The only drawback was the tv did not get local stations. The tv’s did have a number of apps but it would have been nice to have the local news, etc.
Still would have to rate it 5 stars.
We will certainly request it again."

"Disappointment at the Beach
It was great till we had to leave 2 days earlier because of the hurricane. We only stayed 5 out of 7 days.
We know this area is flooded after a lot of rain from experience and we knew we could not get out.
We also used to get 10% off the price because we were coming every year till COVID, so only 3% was a disappointment."

"A nice place
This used to be our favorite place the unit we stay in 407 is super cute has been remodeled qnd is very comfortable however staff wise has changed we usually book as we leave for the next year and have done this for 11 years and leave them 100 to 250 to hold it and make payments throughout the year and when we show up it's all paid for or only owe like 100 dollars notbad..this year we tried to rebook and they wanted almost half up front and we said we just spent 5000 for our time here because we do 17 days we have always re booked with no problem no almost half up front .. I don't know why this has changed and to speak with the property manager who knows us is a no go she is never there we call we speak to her she says she will get back with us never does we call back she does not remember us and it's been ongoing.. 3 kids call this place their favorite place and second home because they love our unit unfortunately if we can cone up with the money to put it all down and if the unit is still available we will book however if the unit is not available we will he looking elsewhere..which is sad.. "

"Winter preventative maintenance
We have stayed here before and will again, however, this time we were disappointed because there was maintenance being done on the balconies right outside our apartment. The noise was so severe we were not able to stay in the apartment during the day while the drilling was going on. I understand preventative maintenance and appreciate it must be done, but we should have been warned that it was so close to the apartment. We could have chosen one further away from it. Thank you"

"Great Stay!
We are repeat customers to Water's Edge. We have stayed at other condos at Garden City, but we always return to Water's Edge. The amenities they offer, the location, and the price are all perfect for our yearly family vacations to Garden City Beach. The condo we stayed in was very clean, and well maintained. We rented directly through WE this year and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We love that we can rent umbrellas and chairs from the lifeguard at the beach directly in front of the condo. It is perfectly located close to the pier and Murrell's Inlet, where we frequent to have some good food and drinks. We will be back and definitely recommend Water's Edge to friends."
