"Our Happy Place
We have stayed at Watersedge many times over the past 30+ years- with extended family and without- perfect for all ages. Easy walking distance to pier in one direction ( And Sams!) and to the Conch going the other direction. We like being in the quieter area away from the strip. "

We have been coming to the locations for year. The only bad thing I can say about this stay was that we had 2 lights go out and nobody from housekeeping called and told us if we needed to light bulbs or would they replace them."

"As Close To Perfect As We Could Imagine
This Condo was perfect for us, being on the 2nd floor we could just park and walk to our door! It took a long time for us to go on a vacation again due to the pandemic. Our daughter is disabled and our family has some immune issues so this has been really scary for us but a much needed vacation won. Lost my brother to Covid early on. I explained to the reservationists and was assured that everything is disinfected between guests. So that helped me pull the trigger on booking it. This condo was beautiful and clean, now for peace of mind I did go in first and disinfected everything again before my family came in. We loved our stay here and even stayed an extra night. The view is the best, the beds were comfortable and the place just felt wonderful with all the convenient extras. The shower in the master bedroom was great for my daughter which is something hard to find. My daughter loved this place, have never seen her happier and I would not take any amount of money for that smile! The balconies gave her a sense of freedom that she loved.. Everything worked as far as appliances are concerned and we have stayed in places when that is not the case. All in all Waters Edge Resort is as close to perfect as you can get with the view and amenities there. There is a gift shop, restaurant, bar, 2 pools and 2 Hot tubs inside and out. If you don’t want to go anywhere you don’t have to. That was very appealing to us because of the pandemic. The one thing that bothered me was there were too many people there and too many without masks, I wasn’t comfortable with taking my daughter to the pools or beach there and so we went to a less crowded area. I’m sure this wouldn’t have bothered me as much in a different time. We thought not many would be there this late in the year."

"Needs Updates/Dirty
Could not check in on time due to condo being dirty. Pool was cold and filthy with black stains. Pool equipment area very unorganized and dirty. Room had outdated bedding and not enough dishes etc. Condo building very old and needs major renovations. Inside hot tub did not work and was roped off. Front desk staff was rude and overwhelmed. Stairway disgusting and needs to be cleaned and painted. Condo unit needs a detailed cleaning and plumbing fixtures were gross. Bathroom seat kept coming loose from toilet."

"Wonderful and relaxing vacation
We had a much need vacation at Waters Edge. The condo was very clean. Kids loved the indoor heated pool. I was pleasantly surprised by the Christmas Dinner from Cracker Barrel in the fridge when we arrived Dec. 26th. It was so appreciated because we were not able to have Christmas dinner on Christmas day, my husband worked and we were unable to gather with our family. Thank you for a perfect stay. "
