"Our review
We had a wonderful time! the facility was spacious and clean upon arrival. We do have a few suggestions though. Make sure that there are king size sheets for the king size sleeper sofa. Queen size did not fit. My husband was unable to get the T.
v. to work. Stock the kitchen with some washable plastic cups. I was very concerned with all of the glassware that we were using with the glass table and ceramic tile floors. I ended up buying some disposable cups for our use. Another set of 6 forks and spoons would have been nice. Along with a second pot holder and a few trivets. I did not want to set hot dishes on the glass table for fear of cracking the glass. The dishwasher did not seem to clean the dishes very well. That may have been due to low quality of dishwasher detergent though. And, the left cabinet door in the kitchen that closes over the glass drinking cups needs to be fixed so that the door stays closed. A little adhesive velcro on the door frame and the back of the door would take care of the problem."

"Family Weekend Away
Overall a wonderful experience! Beautiful views and spacious floor plan. Great anminities! Old appliances than didn’t work great and an umbrella company took up the entire beachfront. Left property behind and it was not returned costing $$"

"Anniversary Trip
This was our fourth time staying at Tides Unit 1410. Unfortunately this past stay didn’t live up to the same standards as our previous three. The unit obviously sustained water damage as the ceilings showed water stains, incomplete dry wall repairs and painting. There was a couch missing which left exposed cables and broken outlet covers . The cosmetic work should have been completed by the owner prior to renting it out. Hopefully the owner will take the time to remedy this as it is a beautiful condo. Gibson Beach Rentals was very understanding and a pleasure to work with. We will continue to book our vacations through Gibson as they offer great service and amenities with your stay."

Enjoyed the location of this property - away from most of the Destin traffic and hustle and bustle (toward the east). But plenty of everything close by if that's what you want. Close to 30A.
Enjoyed the time of year as well. School was back in. Resort was not crowded. Weather and happened water happened to be just gorgeous, but i don't think that's really unusual."

"Summer vacation
This property was perfect for our group. The unit was spacious and in a perfect location. The pool was great and we enjoyed the bar and grill adjacent to it. The walk from the unit to the beach was short and easy, a plus ! We will definitely be headed back to Tides at Tips'l. "

"Visited Tops’l Tides many times but I don’t recommend this unit
We love Tops’l Tides and visit often. This unit has a beautiful view and we loved the size of the patio. However, the general condition was very poor. A significant portion of the furniture was broken. Most dresser and side table drawers were unusable. One of the loungers on the patio was broken. The coffee maker was missing pieces (we purchased and donated one to the unit). The ceiling fan in the Master had two speeds - rattle and off. The garbage disposal smelled like something died in it. We overlooked most of these things and managed to enjoy our week because we had great weather and it’s a beautiful location but we were very disappointed with the unit itself "

Good experience, except that there was no hot tub on location. A hot tub was important to us. There was an image in the posting and it was listed as an amenity. Also, there was a lack of beach chairs at the pool."

"This is not the place, outdated, filthy!
We were promised many things, like heated pool, fitness center, covered parking, we got none of it! This particular unit the pictures are deceiving, the furniture it old torn rickety, rugs were so old and made of jute, they shed all over. It was left in filthy condition with hair and food everywhere, all dishes and pots crusted with food. Disgusting, will never come back!"

"Nice Unit, Some Issues Need Correcting
The drawers in the dressers just flopped, would not stay on track. Useless so just had clothes lying on furniture.
WIFI password in information and given by Alexa is wrong. Correct password is on bottom of modem. Numbers transposed.
TV system was poor! Remotes did not work well if at all.

"Dream vacation

"TOPS'L Tides 1410 (13-19 Jun 2021)
Generally pleasant and nice but:
The dining room lighting did not work.
When then master BR ceiling fan was on 'High', it would create this periodic 'rattle' that sounded like a couple of loose lanyards smacking the side of a flagpole (not great at 2am).
Also, there was no butter dish to be found in the kitchen but, it has one now :)
Still, overall I will continue to recommend GBR to anyone I know looking for a great beach vacation experience. Thank you - John Forste"

"Great condo
Great condo. Location is perfect. Good restaurants and grocery close by. It’s close to Destin if you want to go fishing, but just far enough east to avoid all the Destin traffic. This unit was very clean for us. Balcony had a great view. Pools were large and close to any unit. Beaches are white powder, like you get in the Caribbean. Gibson rental was good with communication. Example: the internet password was listed incorrectly. I texted Gibson, and they sent correct password in a timely manner. They were great to communicate with all week. Highly recommend this unit and will be coming back. "

"Gorgeous Resort Vacation
My husband, 12 yr old daughter and I loved this condo and resort! The views from the condo were stunning -- largest balcony I've ever been on -- and condo was very spacious. The resort had two pools and easy beach access with chair/umbrella rental, plus delicious food & drinks at the poolside restaurant. We have family in Santa Rosa Beach and plan to stay here each future visit!"

Went on a short girl's trip and stayed here. Everything was perfect! The location was great! The unit itself was well taken care of, had all the things necessary to prepare meals and was very nice! Even had 2 chairs and an umbrella for the beach. I would definitely recommend staying here!"
