"Destin Beach Stay
The property was in a great location and has spectacular views. However, it was not as clean as you would expect. The floors were dirty and the kitchen definitely needed attention. The beds in 2nd room were very uncomfortable."

"One major disappointment
No ceiling fans. We do not enjoy freezing cold AC temps but air movement is a must. We went out and bought three box fans so we could be comfortable. First time ever to be in a unit without ceiling fans. I definitely will not return to this unit"

"Hated to leave
Very satisfied with the way Gibson handles their rentals. We completed all transactions by email and/ or text. Codes, directions and the variety of free or discounted daily activities. They were even able to fairly accommodate us when we decide we wanted to stay over a little longer. The only slight demerit goes to the owner of the unit. Coffee was brewed in an old drip machine (who doesn't use K-cup nowadays especially travelling), the TVs weren't identical in their offerings, and the kitchen utensils were on the sparse side. Needless to day, we were there to enjoy the beach, golf, etc. so kitchen issues are minor, indeed."

"Beachfront
This is a two bedroom condo unit. A king bed that has ocean front windows. The big window in the middle of the bedroom View is severely cloudy. You can’t really see the view through it. They were doing construction on the second floor and it was very noisy. The condo unit is on the 10th floor. Every time we went out on the balcony to enjoy a meal or the view, someone was smoking and made it very undesirable. Also, the people above us were constantly running and banging something on the floor making it for a very difficult sleeping situation. The bathroom has a garden tub with a shower in one. The kitchen had very nice pans and everything you need to cook meals in the condo. We have stayed at Beachside one and BEACHSIDE2 with no previous problems. We were told on Wednesday that the pool for Beachside two was being repaired and not available . We were very disappointed about that. The beach had June blooms with a ton of seafood weed making it look very dirty and every time we went into the ocean, it felt like we were being attacked by air very long strands of hair. Really gross. Please make sure you wear shoes on the beach during the day, the landing with stairs and the actual beach get extremely hot on your feet. The rug in the main bedroom hurts your feet. You will need slippers to wear in the condo because your bottoms of your feet will turn black and the rug that hurts as well."

I was so pleased with this condo rental. The condo was impeccable upon entering. I felt very comfortable knowing I’d be staying there the week. Kudo to housekeeping!! Also, I felt very secure within the complex as you need codes for everything. I did also appreciate that some did soap, fresh sponge and extra bags were there upon arrival. "Beachside II 4303
We enjoyed our stay in 4303 at Destin in June 2021. The condo was clean...somewhat dated. It was in a great location with a beautiful access and easy access to the beach. The sliding door in the master bedroom was broken as we arrived. Management came promptly and taped it up which worked fine for our stay. The condo lost power the first night we were there and didn't come back on until mid day the following day. 2 of 3 elevators were out for most of our stay which encouraged to use the stairs to the 10th floor often. The management company compensated us for the inconvenience...much appreciated. "

Roaches! I saw an earlier review after the fact and saw a similar review. Dead roaches when we first entered the unit. The kitchen had roaches so we did not want to make any food. We had to eat out for every meal. Would not rent again."

"Family Independence Day Getaway
We had a lovely 4th of July vacation at Beachside II. The view is magnificent! The unit is on the 10th floor which was ideal for us; me, my wife and 2 college age children. The kids enjoyed the (very crowded) beach while my wife and I stayed around the pool. The unit is very well equipped although the furniture could use some updating. Nadia at Gibson is very responsive and I give her high marks for checking with us almost daily to make sure all was well with our stay."

"A good place to relax
Spending February in Florida is a great place to be in when you live up north with their typical weather patterns. I like Miramar Beach because of its central location in the panhandle. It is a very easy trip to Panama City going east and Pensacola going west. If you want to be more adventurous Mobile, Ala and Biloxi, Miss are a little further away and New Orleans is 6 hours away. Going north is Montgomery and Birmingham, Ala and Huntsville with the Space Center. The beaches are beautiful with very fine white sand. It's a great feeling to be able to take off your shoes and wade in the water in the middle of February. And if you want to go swimming, which I have when my grandkids are visiting, the water is tolerable in the 60's. There are several miles of beaches which you can walk on. If you are an early morning person you have to go out to the beach, with a camera, before sunrise and just enjoy the splendor of the sun coming up over the horizon. At the end of the day turn around and watch the sun reflect off the clouds and quickly disappear over the western horizon. And don't leave the beach so soon or you will miss the amazing colors in the sky even after the sun sinks below the horizon. If you are a star watcher go out to the beach and see all the stars, which I miss at home because of all the light pollution. If you are a shopper, as my wife is, there are many stores. There are many excellent restaurants. We like baked oysters of which there are many in the area. While it is 10 degrees cooler in the panhandle than in lower Florida, the temperature is usually between 50 and 70 degrees. Sometimes going lower and sometimes higher. But is you live up north that is a very comfortable temperature range. And if you can get a group of friends to come with you the stay is so much better. "

"Making Multigenerational Memories-Destin with kids and grandkids
My wonderful inlaws planned a family vacation to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Beachside II was the perfect destination! From age 70 to 2, our family of 8 had the best week EVER! Our unit comfortably slept all 6 of us, while my inlaws stayed in a different unit. We started each day with a beach walk to watch the sunrise. BB and Pops had a different variety of kid company every morning as some slept in while others woke up ready to go! Then a quick breakfast in our spacious and well stocked kitchen...a real gift on the beach! Daily play in the ocean was just steps away...and the pool was a refreshing transition back into the condo for lunch. We hosted nightly dinners in our unit, as our 6 top table gave us the opportunity to gather all 8 of us around the table together for a family meal of shrimp, crab legs, gumbo from "Shrimpy's" (already prepared perfectly). then grabbed flashlights and went crab hunting before bed. So fun!! the guys cooked streetctacos for us one night. And pizza one. My inlaws treated us to a trip to the gulf-atrium, where my 4 kiddos LOVED seeing the dolphin show and other marine life up close. Fudpuckers is a family favorite lunch spot. And you MUST go to the donut hole for breakfast! The girls went shopping at the outlet mall one afternoon. And we grabbed the Tram and rode over to Bayside one evening for a late dinner and walk down to the boat dock. Spectacular trip of a lifetime with family memories never to be forgotten! This unit was perfect! Beautiful sunset view from the balcony can't be beat! Thank you for a lovely stay in your beautiful and well maintained condo! "

"Nice stay
Overall, a nice stay in a great location. Only negatives were a part in the dryer was laying in the bottom and was not fixed for a couple of days. The sliding door in the master bedroom was extremely hard to open (needs some cleaning/lube in the track). Lastly, we went to print out boarding passes from your office on Sunday morning and were met by a less than cooperative employee. (last year, we had no such problem). "

We are previous guests of Gibson, and have been annually visiting Sandestin for nearly 3 decades. Gibson continues to improve their service every year! The app is simplistic and makes check-in/out a breeze. In regard to this unit specifically, it was spotless and well equipped. While the West Indies decor is not my personal favorite, it was tasteful and comfortable. In my opinion, Beachside II is simply THE BEST for ocean views and layout options, especially with the updates done to the balconies in recent years. Keep up the good work, Gibson! Same time next year :)"

"Best Vacation Rental Ever
This was the perfect condo. From inquiring about and receiving information to check in and check out procedures, Gibson was there. The unit was immaculate and in a perfect location. Wi-Fi was good and everything we needed was there. We couldn't believe how quiet it was. I almost cried when we left. If we had the money, we'd try to buy it. "Perfect Vacation!
We had a great time staying at the condo. The check in and out process was very easy using the App. The staff replaced a coffee maker immediately that I thought was broken, but actually wasn't. The staff found some bathing suits left behind and notified us to mail them back. I highly recommend the place and Gibson. The only negative was the comfort of the twin bed, but I am just used to my bed at home. Great condo and very nicely decorated."

The master bedroom king size bed was not comfortable for me and that's due to the springs and I'm not used to that felt like it needed to be replaced my husband liked it . Go figure !!A little tricky with all their codes theirs a code to get to the beach !!they have a code to drive to the property and you have to have a code to get into your room!! "

Our family spent 4 days in this unit for my daughter's 16th birthday. We were very satisfied. The unit was super clean, spacious, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots & pans-I had everything I needed to bake a cake from scratch. The balcony view is directly of the beach-great view. However, if you like to eat outside, there was no large table and limited seating, probably due to the smaller size of the balcony. Great for 2-3 to sit and enjoy the view. The master bdrm was extremely spacious, large walk-in closet to store clothing, etc., large tub/shower and also a fantastic view of the ocean from bed."

GREAT views from the balcony. It is so easy to book online or via telephone. We look the touch pad key entry. No having to go by an office to check-in or check out. Just steps from the beach!"

"Perfect Condo Rental
We would definitely recommend this condo rental when staying in Destin. Very short walk to the pool and beach. The beach view from the patio is fantastic. Tram was easily accessible to take you to other parts of the resort."

"Ocean Views
We had a family vacation at Beachside II 4303 and found it to be a comfortable place. There was enough space, and the master bed was very comfortable. The twin beds in the guest room, however, were not so comfortable. They were ok. The views and ease of getting to the beach were great. We enjoyed the pool, which was clean and never too crowded. We liked that we were close to most things and we thought it was nice to be able to get free DVDs to borrow. All in all, this was a nice rental."
