"Family Spring Break
We loved our stay at Beach Manor 1005! The view is the first thing you notice when you walk in! The unit faces the East, so you get great sunrises but you cannot see the sunset. The unit was spotless and so tastefully decorated! The kids loved the bunkbeds. The resort itself was wonderful as well- the elevators are fast, parking was easy, its beach front with its own pool & hot tub, 2 nice gas grills next to the pool, beach service for chairs and a cute little poolside bar/grille next to the main pool(you have access to 2 pools). We had all we needed in the kitchen to cook several meals, just remember to bring all your own condiments/spices. Gibson Rental provided a small box with a couple dish and laundry pods, a small dish soap and sponge. So if you’re staying more than a day or 2 you’ll need garbage bags, pods, storage bags, etc. We would definitely stay again! "

"Beautiful Condo!
We are very picky... and this place ticked all of our boxes. Beautiful view of the ocean. Easy walk to the beach. Minimum of 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. Now many condos probably could check the boxes. But this condo is beautiful! Everything has been updated and the aesthetic they chose is what we have chosen. Would definitely stay here again!"

"As a "Beach Manor" of fact
This was our first time away from kiddos and only adult vacay since our honeymoon 7 years ago and it surpassed all expectations! It was the most perfect location, close to great restaurants, spectacular views and meticulously clean. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone coming to this area! Hope to come back soon!"

"Gorgeous views, would rent again, great condo!
Excellent! Gorgeous views! Beautiful unit, comfortable beds. 2 minor issues, the floors seemed to be a little dirty upon arrival. The master bedroom door sticks hard. You have to really pull to open it. It needs adjusting. It is very loud when opening and would wake our kids in the morning.
Overall, we had a fabulous stay and would rent again! Thanks for a great get away!"

"The best yet
We have stayed at Beach Manor 5 times in the past 7 years and unit 1005 is easily the nicest condo we have rented. Everything was exactly as shown and described. Gibson rentals has always been very easy to work with. Beach Manor at Topsl is a nice resort with nice amenities without being over the top or too crowded. The location next to the state park makes for really nice strolling on the beach. "

"Beach Manor
Awesome rental! Beautiful view. Great, peaceful location. Comfortable and just as represented. We enjoyed the visit. Easy and convenient rental experience. Just a couple things that would have made it perfect: Balcony and chairs were covered with cut hair that I cleaned up. It had also been tracked inside. The secondary bedroom is by the elevator. Thankfully it was quiet but lights in the hall kept the room too bright. Room darkening blinds would be beneficial. Sofa could use some steam cleaning."

"Nice updated condo
We had a great stay. Condo was clean and updated and was close to elevator so it wasn't a bad walk to pool or the beach. It wasn't busy when we were there so the pool was rarely crowded and it was quiet even being close to elevator. The condo had basic dishes etc but no grill tools or basic spices like salt/pepper. That was fine for us but something that's nice to know. They did have starter packs of soap and detergent and kitchen sponge. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. It has a great eastward view for sunrise but you cannot see sunnset from the condo. "

"Great Get-AWAY
The whole experience was wonderful. Everything was ready when we arrived. The condo was very well outfitted for an enjoyable time. The kitchen was well equipped and the appliances are up-to-date. Having a full size washer and drier was very nice and came in extremely handy. We did enjoy the wonder view from the living room of the beach. I also worked while we were there and the desk work area work out very well. The wi-fi connection never failed. We all enjoyed the chairs next to the window for which we were able to look out at the beach area. Of course the location is ideal. When down at the beach we notice that it was not crowded at all, like it was at the properties next door."

"New & Comfortable Feeling with a Naturesque View
This was a generally good vacay rental experience. It was easy to rent and to access the unit. The balcony is tiny - not really large enough for two and it is on the side of the building - as opposed to directly facing the ocean. Sheets on the top bunk were dirty and drains in master bath sinks were stuck closed. Service showed up quickly with fresh sheets (but did not make bed.) The dining room table and dishes could be cleaner (maybe if there was more soap for the dishwasher...) Beautiful view of the sand dunes and partial ocean view. Kitchen had very nice cooking wares, dishes and utensils.Bed was comfortable. Nice view from the master bedroom. "

Had a few maintenance issues but all quickly resolved. Furniture very old. Bad sofa and bed. We were there a month. Prob fine for a weekend. Location is wonderful. Deck is small but lovely view. "

"Wonderful Resort, even better Beaches
We booked our stay last minute because of an hurricane that was going to hit our original rental on the atlantic side. The process was really easy and Gibson made sure everything was taken care of in such a short period of time. The grounds are maintained very well and our particular rental in the Beach Manor building was amazing. We couldn't get over how great the view was. We WILL be staying here again the next time we travel to Destin, FL. I would highly recommend this rental!"

"Beautiful View
Got a call before we even got to the property saying we would be able to get into the room by 12:00 which was wonderful, once we arrived at the property we did not have to check in everything was already done and we had our pass code for the room. Once we got in the room it was beautiful had a great view of the ocean from the large side windows. We was so well pleased with everything. We saw several deer driving in and out of the property each day and it was so quite and peaceful the beach was very secluded on our side which we also loved. We had a wonderful stay & everything was so close we did not have to go very far to get to most of the places we normally visit. Most definitely would recommend to anyone. We loved it. "

"Beach rental
The rental was very nice. We were very impressed with the condo. The location was very close to the beach. My daughter & her boyfriend had a condo rental up the road from us and when she came she was upset that they didn't get the little goodies that Gibson Beach rentals left. We did not access or use the free activities that was included in our stay. We would definitely recommend this rental company to our family & friends. We had a wonderful time."

"Wonderful views
The condo was clean, comfortable and had amazing views. The building is in the best location in the private resort if you want easy beach access and away from the large crowds. Go to the beach and turn left and you walk past a few large homes and then hit the state park with undeveloped beach. Go right and you wade through the crowd of people from the nearby condos and hotels. Best of both worlds. The condo building itself is well-maintained, pool is nice and maintenance staff were very polite and friendly to guests. We could here footsteps above our bedroom, but no voices and it did not negatively impact our stay. The balcony is small, but the view is absolutely beautiful. Beds were comfortable. The beach chairs and umbrella provided with the condo are a good addition, we used them."

"Wish we could have stayed longer.
We have stayed in other Beach Manor units in the past, but enjoyed this one more. The view was outstanding. I just hope that they don't let the nature preserve get developed any more. We did struggle with getting the fan working in the kids room with that different switch, but figured it out. God willing we will be back, and hope this unit is available. "

"First Time Visitor To BM 1005
There are several excellent things I can say about Beach Manor 1005. The description of the condo is accurate regarding the location, layout, and amenities. We loved the size, especially the living room and the view was incredible. The beach area was beautiful and we loved each day on the sand. There are many good restaurants and activities in the area. The condo was clean when we arrived. Tops'l is a great resort area. Only thing I would improve on is the mattress in master bedroom. It needs to be replaced. It does not afford you a good sleeping experience. You sleep in dips on both sides.
Gibson Beach Rentals was great to work with. They keep you informed of items you need to know with their app. Check in was fast and easy. I would very much like to rent this unit again I would just hope that the mattress issue would be corrected by then."

"A Relaxing Getaway
We really enjoyed our time at Beach Manor 1005. The location was perfect. You can't beat right on the beach! Our view was gorgeous and the condo was nice and clean. The weather stripping around the front door needs to be replaced to prevent wind from whistling through at night but otherwise, we loved it! I'm sure we will be back."

This condo was beautiful. Newly renovated, the place was clean and well designed. I think it has the best view in San Destin, as you can see from the Bay to the Gulf, and the san dunes in between, and easy beach access. Pools, restaurants, and bars at the resort were all nice. "

We had a great time. Weather was perfect and the condo was comfortable except for the tiny useless balcony. It did not enough room for even 3 people. The Tides has much larger balcony with more useful outdoors furniture. So, if you are the type who sits in the balcony in the evening to enjoy the view, rent a condo at the Tides."

"Homey cottage experience with a killer view
Instead of the cookie cutter vacation rentals we have had in the past, this was a pleasant surprise. Ceiling moldings, lovely paint colors throughout, all sorts of art works on the walls---oils, old prints, plates, etc., great kitchenware, pots and pans, and utensils, decorator materials, unique furnishings, comfortable seating. I've saved the best for last---the view. This building stands along side a natural preserve so no tall hotels buildings to obstruct your view for miles. (our unit was on the east side of the building.) Another huge benefit over properties further down the west side of the beach is this long line of concession beach chair and umbrella in front of which you are prohibited from setting up your own beach stuff. Here there is a designated spot to the east of Beach Manor's concession where you can spread out and get as close to the ocean that you want. Gibson had some nice touches too. We liked the unique bundling of towels on each bed, the plastic cups, cuzzies, and small insulated bag. Oh, forgot to mention, 3 TVs---one small, 2 extra large. If I have to mention a drawback, it would be that the patio was too small. We would like to have been able to dine outside."
