Luau 6209 has been completely renovated and is very relaxing with the grey and white decor! The living room has plenty of seating with two couches, one of which pulls out to a sleeper sofa. There is also a bonus half bath off the living room! The kitchen comes fully equipped for all your cooking needs. The bedroom has a comfy king size bed and flat screen TV. This end unit has a HUGE wrap around balcony with plenty of outside seating to relax after a long day at the beach!

"Great stay!
This condo was one of the best I have experienced through VRBO. Great location on the 2nd floor. The unit was nicely decorated and updated. We enjoyed having the 1/2 bath so my wife and I didn't have to share a bathroom all the time. The managing service was very quick to respond when asked questions. I would highly recommend this property if you are thinking about staying in the area."

Our stay at this condo was great! We were impressed with how clean and cozy it was. The bed was so comfy, the AC can also be adjusted to however cold you want it (This was a huge deal for us), and we also loved the shower. The half bathroom was a great addition off of the living room. It's also very convenient being on the second floor of the building, as it is easy to get to the ground floor for the pool and parking garage. The huge wrap around balcony was also great.
There were a few things that bothered us, but we are easy going and just dealt with it. On our second day, we had lots of sugar ants running along our countertop, where the sink is. Also, the dryer does suck, which I've read in previous reviews. I had clothes drying for over two hours and still had to check out of the condo with damp towels. With a four year old child, I also didn't like that the resort had a pathway to the beach that had steps to go down - it was a bit difficult to haul our wagon that was loaded down with everything that we had to haul. Overall, we had a great time and I would definitely stay here again. "

"excellent location
The GPS coordianates took you to the Bayside of the road where there was line to ask about whether Luau 2 or 1. Then the desk staff said they could not tell us since Through Gibson rental. The security gate keep was able to explain. The shower drain was stopped up and no response on the Vrbo message board about correcting the issue."

The condo was beautiful. It had everything we possibly would have needed. The bed was not very comfortable for us, at all. It’s a stiffer mattress than we were used to. Other than that, we had zero issues. Love the location of the Luau. The pool area is gorgeous, staff is friendly, and the area is perfect. You don’t have to go far at all for anything! "

"Best Long Weekend Ever!
We can't say enough good things about this rental. The bed was sooooo comfy it was hard to say goodbye to it!! We loved the setup so much, it was so homey and comfortable for the two of us! We also just loved the location overall - super close to Baytowne wharf, was so easy to head over on the free tram! We also loved how easy it was to get to the beach from the path behind the pool - so convenient!!
We're definitely looking forward to our next stay in this unit for sure!! :)"

"Holiday weekend stay in Sandestin
My wife and I were in town for a friends birthday celebration over Memorial Day weekend. They chose the Sandestin resort in Miramar for we looked for a unit that would accommodate our needs. We chose 6209 as it had a king bed where many others only had a queen. As for the unit, it was really nice. Updated interior and a nice comfy bed. Great wraparound porch where we enjoyed our coffee and breakfast in the morning. There’s really no view to speak of (other than the parking lot), but the proximity to the beach and short elevator ride back and forth from beach/pool to your room made it nice. My only negative about the room was the towels provided. The bath towels they provided were cheap and wouldn’t even wrap around my 10 year old. Just one of those little shortcuts they took that was noticing e for me. But all in all a really nice condo.
As far as Sandestin as a wouldn’t be my first choice, or fifth. While the beach and the water were beautiful, it really isn’t that relaxing as you are packed in like sardines. And since we flew in from out of town, we were without a car and there is ZERO stores or anything nearby to get provisions. You kind of feel stuck there. If you need anything...it’s basically a delivery of an Uber ride away which can add up. To each his own I guess, but I just felt that there wasn’t enough there to assist with our stay. "

"Perfect for us!
It was just what my two kids (10&12) and I were wanting! I’m a single mom and was a little nervous since this was our first time staying in Sandestin but this place was great! It was big enough for all three of us. Had everything we needed. A short walk to the beach. The pool and hot tub was a huge hit since it was still kind of chilly while we were there. Definitely going to put on the list of places to stay again!"

"Beautiful 1 Bedroom Condo
Very comfortable, beautifully decorated unit with the space I needed to care for my 7 month old grandbaby while the parents attended a conference. Clean, great AC, comfortable bed, awesome shower, comfy sofas, and a great corner balcony. The extra 1/2 bath was a perfect space for the baby's pack & play. Rented her gear from BabyQuip - Wendy was awesome. Kitchen was fully stocked, frig was spotless. Washer and dryer helps keep up with towels but dryer takes a long time. The Luau facility needs upgrades with hall carpet so don't judge the unit before opening the door. Everything in the unit looks new: floors, paint, drapes, furnishings. Check in and out was so easy. Loved the keyless entry too. The app works seamlessly to handle everything. Just wish there was a ramp on the beach side of the property that would allow for easier beach access for a wagon. "

"Great Stay at Luau 6209
We sure enjoyed our stay at the Beach Resort. The condo was extremely comfortable for two people. It was tastefully decorated with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. There were plenty of pots, pans, and utensils to use. The bed was so comfortable that we slept much better than we do at home. We would happily stay at this condo again. The only drawback for me was the walk to the beach. It was difficult for me to walk that far since I have lung issues. However, we solved the problem by driving over to the parking lot right by the beach, so the problem was easily solved. It was overall a great stay! "

Luau 6209 is the cutest condo I’ve ever stayed in...the owners did a fabulous job with decorating this unit! The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was wonderful!
The location of the Luau condominiums could not be any better! It’s an easy walk to the beach on the paths/sidewalks and the pool is the best I’ve ever seen! The little tiki bar and soft, relaxing Hawaiian music playing made for the perfect vacation day!
The Sandestin community is equally fabulous! I rented a bike (Bikes R Us) and enjoyed riding all around the area! This is clearly a well planned community and I loved being able to walk or bike everywhere!
Gibson Rentals was also great to deal with...very professional and available to answer any questions in a prompt manner!
