"Great Weekend Getaway
The unit was perfect for a weekend getaway. It was just steps away from the pool and fitness center. It was also just a short walk to Baytowne Wharf. The patio area was quiet and relaxing. The communication with the rental company (Gibson) was excellent. We would stay here again!"

"Wonderful Week in Destin
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Pilot House 330. Although my wife would have preferred to be closer to the beach, and I would have loved for the pool we were at to have been heated, we really enjoyed the short walk to Baytown and the Explorie package that came with our room. Ragatta Bay is a championship style course and to get to play that each day was fantastic. "

"Love the area
First of all I would like to say that the rental company was wonderful. We had several issues such as cable connection and a heating issue and they responded within minutes and fixed the problems. We love the location of this property. Close to everything. On the negative side, this rental was very dirty. Black mold on window sills and on bottom of bedroom curtains. Also most of the cushions are stained. This condo was not deeply cleaned. "

"Quiet and close to the activity
My family of 4 had a great time. The unit was clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. The unit was steps from the pool and fitness center. It was nice being within a quick walk to Baytowne Village. Something to take note of, there is a garage door entrance near the unit and you don't have to walk to the other end of the parking garage and then back down the long hall to the unit. Before our visit, the rental company called to let us know our washing machine was broken, which was nice of them to notify us. They brought us extra towels for our stay. During our stay, the unit did have alot of fruit flies in the kitchen and bathroom areas. I notified the rental company and I am sure they will address that. Overall it was a great condo. "

"Perfect getaway
We absolutely love Sandestin and have been going for almost 10 years. We’ve stayed in many areas and the Pilot House area is our favorite. We like having a condo because I like to cook and live like a real Floridian. But if we want other food it’s great to be steps away from the restaurants and shops of Baytown Wharf.
This particular rental was nice because it was on the corner and secluded. "

"Great location
It’s really a great location. End/corner unit. Walk right out Your back door into the pool or down to Baytown wharf. The walk from the parking garage to the room is a bit of a hike. Grab one of those luggage carts in the garage. Trust me on that. Bed was medium firm, clean and comfortable. The living room furniture was nice also. We would stay here again, no doubt. Epic place to stay for baytown wharf events also"

"A Great Get Away
Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Everything is right there for you. The Pilot Hoise is in the middle of the resort and steps from the pool. The beach is a short tram ride away and food is all around the resort. Absolutely made it easy to have a good time. "

"Beach trip
The Condo was great!It was very roomy and had everything we needed. We arrived and parked our car and we did not move it again till we left. Walk out the back door to the pool and work out room. Down the stairs to the Village. It had everything we needed. Restaurants and plenty of activities for the children. The tram ride to the beach was very convenient. We really enjoyed the Condo and all the amenities and will return again."

When searching for a place to stay on VRBO after hurricane Michael we sent an inquiry to management at Baytown Wharf. Brittany replied almost immediately and coordinated the stay with the greatest of care, concern and understanding. It was a most comfortable and restful stay with every need being met. "Awesome Vacation
We had a AWESOME vacation! The unit was great very clean. The pool was right out the back door. But with the little court yard it made it very private... Very close to all the amenities, restaurants and shops. Tom fished on the pier every morning caught some red fish for dinner. Tram to beach was great. If I were to change anything it would be. I would love for it to be pet friendly and to have a couple rugs one in the bathroom I slipped on the bathroom floor on the first day and one in front of the sliding door coming in from the pool and bigger TV in living room. It's the little things. We will definitely be back!!!"

"Recent family getaway
We had an excellent time staying in the Pilot house. We had never stayed in that part of San Destin before. I loved the proximity to a private pool and access to the weight room. We never had a problem getting to the beach or finding parking. The room we stayed in was perfect for a family of four. Although the couch bed looked rather uncomfortable, my little boy had no problems. The king bed in the bedroom was very noisy to get in and out of. Other than that no complaints. Spacious, clean and very charming. "

"Sleeping in? Forget it. Noise x 10!
Inside very nice but the noise outside our bedroom window was horrible!! Sleeping in is not an option in this unit. By 6 am the trucks are slamming around and beeping. "

"Private, clean, spacious & convenient condo in Sandestin
This condo was exactly as pictured & advertised. No complaints, other than the bed is somewhat hard & the pullout sofa is not comfortable at all. Being an end-unit on the ground floor, it has a private side patio & is very convenient to the fitness facility & pool. The location is also very convenient to the Baytowne Village area. Additionally, if you need extra space to get ready while someone's occupying the bath, the fitness/pool bath is just a few steps away right outside the unit's patio 's almost like having two bathrooms. "

Overall a very good resort experience. Great beach, clean well maintained property overall. The unit is very good for a couple or a small family. Generally well maintained. There is some noise from the AC units and driveway next door but it is tolerable. The furnishings could maybe use a bit of an update but are clean and functional. "

"Excellent condo
I booked this condo very last minute and was thrilled to find it was very well maintained, with everything that a family of three would need. The kitche was very well stocked with all equipment I needed ( I love to cook, so this was important to me). It is a little difficult to tell from the photos but the condo has a very nice sized L shaped fenced in patio, with a gate that leads directly to the pool and gym. The pool is beautiful, and so convenient when you have little kids. You can't beat the location for shops and restaurants as well as plenty of activities for kids and adults alike. All in all a great stay and a very nice condo.
The only negative I would say were the extra fees added for "mandatory home insurance" and fees to the property management company which added approximately $250 to my total bill. I felt this was excessive."

"Destin Soccer--perfect place for kids
Love the quick and easy access and web app. Cannot believe how much time that saved. Great location, very clean, very quiet. We all loved the open fenced area and walk through the gate straight to Baytown. Would definitely stay again."
