Prior to arrival, if a guest has to shorten their stay or change their unit, normal cancellation penalties may apply, whether they are insured or not. Refunds issued by Brooks and Shorey Resorts will be issued no more than 30 days after departure date of original stay. Refunds are payable to the guest within 30 days after the subsequent re-rent payment has cleared our account.

However the beds were the most uncomfortable I’ve experienced in one of the condo rentals. The master bed was so hard we had mostly sleepless nights all week. The bunk beds had a very strange cardboard type of box springs that was so loud every time you moved and I can’t even describe how uncomfortable it was. We had to buy a mattress topper to try to get some comfort and sleep. Believe it or not the hide a bed in the sofa was the most comfortable, snd that’s not really a compliment. The only chairs are the balcony we’re tall pub type, again uncomfortable. The condo was clean with nice furnishings. I really think some attention needs to be made to the beds for future guess. There was also a chair with a leg bent so we were scared to us that chair. Overall the condo worked for what we needed, but we did feel like we overpaid for what we got. The condo was clean, but would recommend having a hair dryer in the unit and investing in a new mattress. The owners had family pictures set out, which was weird. The maintenance around the outdoor shower was lacking. We actually pulled the mat up and tried hosing off all the sand that had built up so when rinsing off, you wouldn’t splatter more sand on you. It would have been nice since the weather was gorgeous that chair service was offered like other condos we’re doing. Overall, we had a great and relaxing visit." I know they don't have control over other units, but the walls are pretty thin so we could hear nextdoor neighbors. Also, other guests were smoking marijuana so that was off-putting to smell on the patio. But, the umbrellas on the beach were a wonderful addition and the beach itself was beautiful! A heads up though--this unit is not in walking distances of any restaurants (closest is 30 minutes away) so plan to get a rental car or uber." Only one slight issue, the cleaning crew evidently forgot to leave washcloths! There was only One in the unit so I just bought a cheap bundle of washcloths at WalMart. Have stayed in other units in this condo before but prefer to try and reserve unit 4003 as it is so tastefully decorated from the inside furniture and features to the outside balcony furniture. We were then told that there were no other rooms they could offer us and that it would be ready in another 1 1/2 hours. We left and irritated and annoyed that they were so unorganized and made no apologies for their mistake. We would have been fine checking in at 5:00pm orignially but for them to call us and tell us the room was ready and then go back and forth was very unprofessional.We will not be using this property management again!"
