Accommodations include a king bed in the bedroom, two twins in the guest bedroom, a sleeper sofa, , offering space for up to six guests total. The bedrooms are a great place to relax with newly updated bedrooms! Other features include a full-size washer and dryer in the utility closet, a full kitchen, a counter area in the hallway, and of course the wrap-around balcony. Refunds issued by Brooks and Shorey Resorts will be issued no more than 30 days after departure date of original stay. This property is very well maintained, clean, & comfortable. The description is accurate regarding the amenities and how easy it is to get to activities. Daily, long walks on the beach were amazing. The Boardwalk at Okaloosa Island is about a 1.5 mile walk via the beach. A great way to start the day! The kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of clean bath towels available, plenty of hangers in the closets, as well as a hairdryer in each bathroom. We will definitely use this same unit again when we return for another reunion. We loved it! For future guests, just be aware this isn’t the type of rental that has spices & oils available for cooking. You need to purchase all of that as well as dishwasher & laundry soap if you plan on doing more than a load of each. We were fortunate enough to meet the owner of the property and tell her in person how much we loved her place and how well she has kept it updated over the years. Also, one of the occupants of Dune Pointe on the first floor played loud music all day and into the night (past 11 p.m.) The pool filter wasn't running for some reason and the water needed it. I could just live on the balcony but the beach is easy access with two chairs and and umbrella ready for your lounging pleasure from about 9-4 each day. The longest part of your journey to the beach from the unit is getting down the five stories to the ground then a short boardwalk ushers you onto the sugar like sand for a total transit of 2-3 minutes tops. There are maybe 18 units in the whole building and so it has never felt crowded during our two stays here on the beach or in the elevator/stairs of the building. The rooftop pool is great, but the outside breezeways on each floor between the doors and the elevator get sandy/wet really easily and you will track all the dirt/water/sand into the condo. Location was great,access to the beach could not of been better. With two very small kiddos it was so nice to have beach chairs and umbrella set up each day. Beaches were beautiful and never crowded. It was great to sit out on porch each evening and enjoy site and sounds of the ocean. The roof top pool was fantastic as well. The biggest disappointment to the property was how dirty it was upon arrival. Floors were horribly dirty, all "clean" sheets to all beds had to be changed due to hair and dirt. Bathrooms were a site as well. We really are not "that family" that complains about things, actually we are very laid back about things but this was not acceptable. We needed up cleaning the property ourselves upon arrival. We contacted the management company upon leaving just to let the owners know that they may need to find a new cleaning service. If this issue has been resolved we would return.
