Islander Beach Resorts have access to one of Okaloosa Island's largest gulf-side pools, a shuffleboard court, and a barbeque grill area. A quick stroll across the boardwalk puts you right on the beach! All guests have Free High-Speed Internet access in their unit, as well as wireless Internet access in our lobby.
Islander Beach Resort has a two vehicle limit.
The pool is heated the week of Thanksgiving and beginning the week of Christmas until March 31st.

No refund if you cancel less than 14 days before check in.
The 100% cancellation loss can be avoided if: (1) Red Sky rental vacation insurance was purchased and the reason for cancellation is a reason covered under the travel insurance; or (2) Brooks and Shorey Resorts can re-rent the unit for the full term of the original rental period, in which case the guest will be charged 10% of the total paid as rebooking fee. Prior to arrival, if a guest has to shorten their stay or change their unit, normal cancellation penalties may apply, whether they are insured or not. Refunds issued by Brooks and Shorey Resorts will be issued no more than 30 days after departure date of original stay. Refunds are payable to the guest within 30 days after the subsequent re-rent payment has cleared our account.

"Excellent Condo for a Family
The condo was as advertised and exceeded some expectations. Everything we needed was provided. The wifi was strong and the air conditioning was nice and cool. We had plenty of room to enjoy family time and the view from the balcony was amazing. The management company stayed in touch throughout the stay and made us feel very welcomed. Beach access was perfect and the pool was large enough and the kids enjoyed. We would recommend this place to anyone. "

Overall a wonderful location and unit. I called as the ceiling above the King bed had the popcorn pieces peeling off and dripping on the bed throughout the stay. I have not heard anything from the company once I let them know about it. Hopefully no one else will experience this. Otherwise, the unit was clean and welcoming, with minimal amenities. Wonderful view of the Gulf and great balcony! "

We were so happy with our entire experience at this condo and Brooks and Shorey! The communication with Brooks and Shorey was great! The condo was very clean. It definitely met my expectations in cleanliness. Everything in the condo worked properly. We have stayed in other condos where the upkeep/ maintenance has not been attended to. But, this condo has been taken care of. We were so happy with every thing! We will be renting from Brooks and Shorey again! Thank you for the wonderful stay!"

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The guest room bed was quite comfortable. There could have been more implements in the kitchen. The master bath exhaust fan was quite dirty and moldy. The rest of the condo was clean and well appointed."

Very clean, spacious condo. Brooks and Shorey always is in communication, great management company to rent through. Every thing is great from the cleanliness of the condo, to the pool and grilling area if you want to grill out and stay in. Perfect location to the beach, not crowded. The view is amazing from this 6th floor condo."

"Great location and would stay again.
Overall, we were happy with the stay. The location is great. The pool is great. The included beach service is nice. The kitchen has new appliances. The room is ready for a refresh. There was mold in the Keurig water compartment and lipstick on the first glass we pulled out of the cabinet. We had to wash all the dishes we used because there was a film on them or they were dirty. The pillows were not comfortable."

Excellent trip! It was our first time visiting here! The condo was clean and in a great location. Check in was extremely easy! Linens were all new and clean! Kitchen was clean with fairly new appliances. My only negative was having carpet in living area and bedrooms at the beach. Carpet was fairly new and was clean! Our family would absolutely stay here again. "

Beautiful condo with perfect view. Quiet and private. Would definitely stay again. Only complaints are cookware needs upgrade and the elevator was out of commission last 2 days and had to lug all our stuff down 6 flights. Everywhere we went people were friendly and ate some delicious seafood. First time to this area and would love to come back."

"Anniversary trip
We come here every year for our wedding anniversary. This condo was great and spacious. Only thing and this is no deal breaker the couches were not that comfortable to sit on. And the master bathroom shower head was to strong for my liking. Felt like it was beating my sunburn skin. The view is amazing and beach access was great. Loved every minute of it. I will be staying at The Islander for every future trip. We love the location and never have any issues staying here.

Our condo was the perfect home away from home! Our family enjoyed the beach and location so much we ate every meal in our condo so they didn’t miss anytime on the beach! I have always been pleased with any condo I have gotten through brooks and Shorey We were warned about elevators and construction but were not ready for what was happening at this resort the condo itself was nice and clean the second elevator tore up (with folks in it) therefore we had to use the steps which was okay for most of the group except seniors there were at any given time during the day dozens of workers and noise of the jackhammers was unsettling I know work has to be done on the condos but it was more than an inconvenience "

My family and I had a wonderful time, the condo was perfect for us. The kitchen was well appointed. We decided to purchase fish from a local fish market in Destin so we could cook in a couple of nights. Access to the beach was easy and it wasn’t crowded. The beach service was great. Not having to carry chairs down to the beach saved us time. We saw dolphins everyday, both from our balcony and the beach. We watched the Wednesday night fireworks, launched from the pier, from the beach. I would definitely recommend staying here. "

The unit was just as pictured and was beautiful and well decorated. It has an awesome kitchen that is well stocked. Beds were comfortable. The balcony is large and has a gorgeous view of the beach/water and you can easily hear the waves. We would definitely rent this unit again!"
