This is one of the smaller complexes on the beautiful Okaloosa Island so if you are looking for a cozy and quiet spot, this place is just perfect for you! With only 3 condos on each floor, this complex will never get overcrowded, the pool area will always have enough space for everyone and the beach will feel more private than ever!
This 2 bedroom condo is on the 2nd floor and offers expansive views of the beautiful sugar white coastline. When you walk out on the beach front balcony, the views will take your breath away! No obstructions, no side views - this is DIRECT BEACH FRONT!
The condo has a nice size full kitchen equipped with all dishes and utensils, there is also a washer and dryer in the unit for your laundry needs. The two bedrooms are just the perfect space to relax after a sunny day at the beach or you can just lounge in the living room and boast in the beauty of the Emerald Coast. Parking is directly in front of the property, there is no fee for parking.
The sleeping arrangements in this unit are as follows: master bedroom - 1 king bed, 2nd bedroom - 1 king bed. Sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit sleeps 6.
The pool is heated the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. As well as the last week of March and the first week of April.

No refund if you cancel less than 14 days before check in.
The 100% cancellation loss can be avoided if: (1) Red Sky rental vacation insurance was purchased and the reason for cancellation is a reason covered under the travel insurance; or (2) Brooks and Shorey Resorts can re-rent the unit for the full term of the original rental period, in which case the guest will be charged 10% of the total paid as rebooking fee. Prior to arrival, if a guest has to shorten their stay or change their unit, normal cancellation penalties may apply, whether they are insured or not. Refunds issued by Brooks and Shorey Resorts will be issued no more than 30 days after departure date of original stay. Refunds are payable to the guest within 30 days after the subsequent re-rent payment has cleared our account.

"Dune Point Ft Walton
Our place at 201 Dune Point was amazing! The location was great and being right on the beach made it even better! The condo was close by everything for either walking and or driving which we did most driving. The condo was well kept and clean with two full bathrooms that supplied bath towels. We were provided with good customer service and phone number for contact in case we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this place to a family or friend because of great of a place it was. So many places to eat at from Rockin Tacks, The Crab Trap, Australia Oyster House, Floyd's! We rode thr pirate ship last year in Destin which was amazing We didn't make it down there this year. But the fireworks on the pier at The Boardwalk were great as well! Overall Ft Waltin and Dune Point were great for us!!"

"The condo unit was clean and had a beautiful view.
We enjoyed our stay. As with most hotel rooms and condos my allergies acted up due to dust. Overall 201 was clean and tidy. If we are able we would certainly revisit this, or any other of the units there. Parking is now gated and the grounds are well maintained. The pool area is beautiful and so is the beach. You may want to bring some extra coat hangers, as there were few in our closet. Overall I highly recommend it and hope to be able to come back in the future.7"

"Love Dune Pointe but.....
I do love Dune Pointe! Our family has been vacationing here for about 20 years and I still love it but it needs some serious TLC. When we walk out of the room, the overhead has concrete missing and rebar showing. I Hope there will be structural repairs done. Also,this was the first time we’ve encountered other guests acting inappropriately. The “family atmosphere” is one reason I love it here. As always, room was very clean and comfortable but could use some updates on the decor. Not giving up on my favorite place to stay at the beach, however, changes need to be made. "

"Summer Vacay part 2
We sent 4 nights in another property managed by Brooks and Shorey, but at the last minute, we decided to extend our stay, the unit we spent the 1st part was already booked so they had Dune point available, so, we took it. The people were very accommodating, they even called me and informed me that we had left a bag of brand-new gifts from the local gift shop and it was waiting for us in the new unit when we checked in (that is almost unheard of in these days). The unit was very nice and decorated very beachy, which I love. It had everything that you would need for a nice vacation. We will definitely go back. The beach was really scary as people were not adhering to the red flag warnings, so we spent a lot of time in the pool, which was very nice."

"Coronacation 2020 ��
Condo was clean and in an awesome spot. Fantastic beach! The only disappointments were the beds. The mattress in the master was so bad I actually had to go buy a mattress pad to sleep on. The “bed” in the 2nd bedroom is actually 2 twin beds pushed together and made up as a king. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely rent again."

We have a wonderful time at Dune Pointe 201. The condo is in a small complex, with only 4 units per floor making it very convenient to get around. We had two babies with us and were able to easily transport babies and gear to the beach and pool. The unit was very clean and the appliances were spotless! With 4 adults and 2 babies we were all very comfortable. Our only complaint is the noise the kitchen faucet made when used."

"Perfect Week Away, Next Year Two!!!
The one and only deduction in an otherwise perfect score was for beautiful tile floors that were not truly clean, they probabltY need a good deep cleaning, or one should wear slippers.
This unit was lovely and had everything we could have dreamt of, well-appointed kitchen, beautiful view, only one flight up, like-new appliances and overall impeccable cleanliness with exception of the invisible dirt on the tile floors (easily taken care of with a bi-annual steam-clean?).
We had no need to call for maintenance, on the last day we noticed a sticking blind cord and my son pointed out a flickering bathroom light; therefore cannot comment on responsiveness/service.
Day 2 breakfast on the balcony brought a school of seven dolphins slowly passing by, we saw a school of pretty yellow fish while kayaking, and a group of five small rays caused a bit of excitement for everyone on day 5 of our stay.
We chose not to rent a car and instead ubered around for dinners out; best meal was at Stewby's near the high school, grilled shrimp and catch of the day.
We hope to return to this small complex again next year."

This condo was great, its located on the second floor and you can see the beach from the room, the condo is spacious and well stocked. The walk to the beach is not a long one, and during our stay (May 2016) we had free beach rental chairs and umbrellas (which we loved)

There were some general maintenance issues. The elevator was out of service most of the week. There is also a pump noise associated with the water distribution system in the building that can be annoying at night. Overall, however, it was a very good experience."
