Introducing Sun Castle PB221! This 3 bedroom, 3 bath one story unit is spacious, comfy and close to all amenities in Pirates Bay. The open kitchen, dining and living area is perfect for the whole family to gather. The primary bedroom features a king bed with a private bath and flat screen TV. The other two bedrooms both have queens and private baths. There is a set of built in bunk beds in a hallway. Enjoy the nice breezeway for relaxing and an outdoor shower. The complex features 2 lagoon pools with park grills for your use and a playground for the kids. Pirates Bay is just a 10 minute drive to the beach. Sun Castle is great for summer rentals, and Winter Texans will love the one story split bedroom plan. Sun Castle is smoke free, so please step outside to smoke. Pets are not allowed. This unit has parking for 2 cars, with required parking permits. Any additional cars will be towed, per the HOA. We are sorry, this is not a golf cart accessible property.

"It did what it was supposed to do
This was a place to stay. That’s really it. The pots and pans were stained and dirty. The kitchen utensils were old purchases from dollar tree that barely worked. The couches had at least 20 years of wear and tear... felt gross sitting on them. "

"Beautiful Weekend for a Wedding!
We greatly enjoyed our experience at your VRBO. I would recommend it to anyone seeking a restful experience. Parking can be a bit tricky if you have more than one or two vehicles, but aside from that, we found the property to be quiet and peaceful. The pool was a bit smaller than the pictures show, and it was full of kids, but it's summertime. "

"Family Trip for Labor Day Weekend
We arrived Friday evening and picked our keys up from the designated lockbox with no problems. We arrived at our unit to find it spotless. We had 5 adults and 3 children in our family and we had plenty of space to spread out. The beds were comfortable and the A/C was cool. All appliances worked well. The only suggestion I could make would be to have more bath towels and wash cloths available so that renters have clean ones to use each evening. Communication with Port A Escapes was excellent!"

Furnishing in l/r & throw pillows old & not clean. The furniture in living & dining was VERY poor quality. Third br had no tv. Pillows were old, flat & not clean. Had to use ones on bunk beds & extra in closet. No pillowcases for any of those pillows. Towels were worse than from a cheap motel. Coffee maker broken we bought one & left it. Cement floors were dirty. Didnt seem upholstered furniture had been disinfected. No towel bars in master bath. Kitchen was nice, mattresses good & pool was awesome. Would stay again at Pirates Bay and recommend to friend but NOT unit PB221. 3 stars on property condition bc pool & outside area well maintained. Once again will stay at Pirates Bay but never in 221 or any unit with same owner. 4 stars on stay bc we love PA. Parking is way too tight. Hard to get truck in and out due to guest parking along fence. "

"Port A Stay at Pirates Bay
It was a very good experience from the beginning at the office getting our key to drop off. The condo was clean and well equipped. The location was excellent with easy access to the beach. The only complaint I have is that the sheets very rough and not soft at all (I'll bring my own next time) however the towels were very nice, big absorbant and soft. All the staff at Port A Escapes were very helpful, friendly and efficient. Thank you"

"3 Families On Vacation with young kids
This is the second time we have stayed at Pirates Bay. We brought 2 other families with us this time and they loved the condo and the pools. The only thing that is needed in this condo is a bigger trash can in the kitchen. The parking was very limited this time due to construction on other new units in the complex-a bigger parking area would be great!! Other than that, everyone loved the location and the amenities. We will all be back soon!!! "

"Great Place, Poor Management
When we arrived on the island I was called about 30 minutes before check in asking if I was coming to pick up the keys. I told her I could be there before they closed and she offered to put them in a lock box instead. However, when we picked up the keys from the lockbox there were no directions to the site or any necessary information. I had to call multiple times to get accurate directions. When finally reaching the property I was surprised at how beautiful the home was. The only major issue I had is with the home being new construction and we were not told this beforehand. I have a nine month old who was crawling all over a filthy floor and was complete covered in black within thirty minutes. Also, our wifi was not working when we arrived. When we called to get it fixed the lady was rude and uncooperative. She told me I needed to wait until the morning and that the service was not guaranteed. I paid almost $2,000 for this house the least they could do is provide the services they say they offered. I probably will not stay at any house that is managed by this company again. I feel sorry for the owners because it truly is a beautiful house. Although, I would like a closer location next time as well."
