In the event of a cancellation by Tenant, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by Tenant, less an administration fee of $100.00 if the Premises are re-rented on terms set forth herein. If the Premises are not re-rented on the terms set forth herein, Tenant will not be entitled to a refund of any rent payment made hereunder. Whether or not the Premises are re-rented, Tenant, rather than Agent, shall be responsible for seeking reimbursement of any fees paid by Tenant to Agent for goods, services, or benefits procured by Agent from third parties for the benefit of Tenant that may have been paid out prior to Tenant’s cancellation.

Upon arrival we found the bathrooms so disgustingly dirty I had to clean them before we unpacked. We them looked in the kitchen and when we opened a drawer there was a pizza cutter there with pizza grease on it from the last time it had been used. The silver wear wasn’t much better. I wanted to use a cookie sheet to cook something and it had dried on food on it. In the bar area the glass shelves had so much grimy dust on it I wrote my mane in it. The furniture had so many dirty stains on it we hated to set on it. We arrived on Saturday and expected to stay until the following Friday and we had no Wi Fi until Thursday afternoon. We contacted the Real estate office as soon as we noticed it wasn’t working and we were told the people that stayed there before us had problems with the Wi Fi also. We explained I had meetings I needed to connect into on Tuesday and was to,d come to their office and I could use their Wi Fi. They also told us on Monday they would have a repair man there on Thursday. They would let us know when he was on his way. This was our last day of vacation and we were expected to wait for a repairman! On Thursday, after waiting an hour after what we were told the repairman arrival time would be we called the real estate office and someone from there finally came and waited for the repairman. The real estate office said they would contact the owner and see about compensation for us. We were never contacted. We called them a week after we got home. We were told they would check on it and contact us back. That never happened. Would highly recommend don’t stay here." The value was what drew us to this unit in the first place. We stayed in this unit for marginally more than the hotel room we used to stay in. We have already booked the unit for next years vacation. "Atlantic Beach Vacation 2022 We have been going to Atlantic Beach for many years. We started by staying in the Ramada Inn but quickly changed to the Maritime West condos. We always rented one with 3 bedrooms but this year only needed a two bedroom. Dealing with Cannon and Grubber was easy. Tiana was great on getting our reservation taken care of and always so pleasant to talk with. She addressed all of my questions in a very professional manner and shared information to assist making our stay even better. The unit was smaller than we were use to but adequate for our needs. When I couldn’t open the slat blinds they sent someone over and they were replaced with drapes that made the room look better and framed a perfect view of the ocean. Our only problem was created by a storm which knocked out the TVs and house phones. Spectrum was difficult to work with but we made it through. When I turned the keys in the staff at Cannon and grubber could not have been nicer. The only downside was the sliding glass door to the deck. It was a bear to open--probably needs replacing. The condo is handy to Atlantic beach restaurants, a grocery store, and other stores. It has a very nice, wide beach that is easily accessible to the condo. All the furniture needs upgrade and there were stains everywhere --couch, sink carpet. The kitchen overall is very worn with stains in sink additionally the kitchen utensils, wine glasses, knives and pots and pans were very limited. I would not recommend it for families with small children since there are hazards such as tvs sitting on unstable wicker furniture. The HVAC system was very dirty and several Family members left with respiratory problems. The pillows were very old and soiled. Thankfully Cannon and Gruber brought new pillows and covers. The bathtubs were stained and shower curtains were see through and dirty. We had hoped to receive a discount for our stay since these things disrupted our stay and made it stressful." This is a great spot for the area as the beach isn't crowded at Pine Knoll Shores. The only problem we had was we had no functioning internet service. Cannon and Gruber tried to help, but that didn't work. They contacted me with the internet account information to contact the internet provider, but that wasn't until Thursday afternoon, and we checked out on Saturday morning. Are only 2 disappointments were when he came up from the beach late one morning there was a maintence man inside spraying for bugs. We were not notified by anyone; ttherefore, we had left our wallets, jewelry and cash. I came up first from the beach then my husband. 20/20 hindsight I should have called 911 immediately and let HOA and realty company to handle. I was extremely taken aback that an HOA who are quite aware that these condos are being rented weekly that they didn't post a note on the complex to inform the patrons or contact realty company. What a liability issue this was. The second is there were 3 controllers to TV in living room. Very very confusing. We never did quite figure out how to use or which one went to what. No TV channels were found nor any directions. Only directions to the DVD. " Aug 15, 2016 - , Hurst, TX "2015 Summer Vacation @ Pine Knoll Shores, NC Location - GREAT! Outside of property - Good. Clean - NO - Dishes, pots & pans etc... in cabinets were dirty! Food stuck on them! Yuck!We normally cook several meals while on vacation. The only thing we cooked was a frozen pizza. Master bathroom - hair everywhere from previous renters in tub and in floor. The shower curtain was NASTY! I had to clean before I could get a shower. Lamp shades covered in dust as well as around the edges of every room (baseboards and carpet). The couches were very uncomfortable! I am sure at one time they were nice, but not any more. It was great to be steps from the beach! The view in the morning was awesome. We rode our bikes 15 miles to Emerald Isle each day. The roads are very safe for biking.
