1. Damage Protection Insurance – For an additional $79.00, this plan covers up to $3,000 in unintentional damages to the rental unit that may occur during your stay. Report the damage to us, we’ll take care of the rest!
2. Security Deposit - $1,000 is immediately charged at time of booking. If the property is left undamaged, keys & parking passes returned, your security deposit will be refunded within 45 days after check out.

Pets Not Allowed
In the event of a cancellation by Tenant, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by Tenant, less an administration fee of $100.00 if the Premises are re-rented on terms set forth herein. If the Premises are not re-rented on the terms set forth herein, Tenant will not be entitled to a refund of any rent payment made hereunder. Whether or not the Premises are re-rented, Tenant, rather than Agent, shall be responsible for seeking reimbursement of any fees paid by Tenant to Agent for goods, services, or benefits procured by Agent from third parties for the benefit of Tenant that may have been paid out prior to Tenant’s cancellation.

"Great multi family house
This house was an amazing house. Plenty of room for 2 families. Our younger kids enjoyed the bunk bed room and the teens enjoyed the peaceful beach room. With a total of 9 people we never felt crowded in the house. Access to the beach was a right outside our door and access to the pool was a very short walk. We only had one issue with receiving linens upon check in. All in all it was great stay. "

The rental was clean and upgraded and spacious. We like the view of the ocean and garage for extra parking . Having TVs in all the bedrooms was nice. We enjoyed our week at the beach. "

"Always a great vacay!
We've vacationed in Atlantic Beach for many years and have stayed at Southwinds and A Place at the Beach many times. As our family grew, we needed a condo that offered more bedrooms and bathrooms. Tar Landing has been the perfect solution! The oceanfront location and gorgeous view are the cherry on top! (The kids love the pool and basketball court, too!)"

"Enjoyed our townhouse getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was a little bit of a hike over the dune to the beach, but not too bad. The kids loved having their own separate space downstairs. "

"Quarantined covid19-2020 Vacation
I was a bit disappointed in the cleaning. The bathrooms still had hair in sinks, bath tubs and around the toilets. Not sure if the 2 bathrooms on the 3rd floor were even cleaned. Was especially disturbing when my 4 year grandson pulled hair from the drain while giving him a bath the first night. The coffee pot still had some coffee in it. So I felt the need to wash all the dishes before using. I also walked around in white socks and the floors were very clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival. It would be nice if renters had the option of hiring our own cleaning company to ensure that it was cleaned up to my own standards.
The view was amazing from the rental. I have been coming on and off to Atlantic beach and staying only at tar landing since 1987. I like the community and the privacy you experience coming here. Just hire a better cleaning company. "

"Enjoyed the condo
Condo is in a great location with an easy walk to the beach. Lot’s of room for group of ten. When we arrived at condo used bed linens and towels were still there which surprised us during these COVID times. The clean linens were no where to be found in the unit. We called C&G and the linen folks were there within an hour to remove used linens and deliver clean ones. "

"Sweet Spot near Fort Macon
We had a lovely week at this condo in early July. The layout is very efficient as well as comfortable and roomy, the beds were great. You have everything you need in the kitchen for cooking and space for all the things you bring. Beach access is a short walk down the boardwalk and over the dune. We loved having the pool for those afternoons when you just want a take a dip. If you have teens you'll appreciate the large bedroom on the lower level. Be aware that there are stairs to get to the main level ( there is a bedroom on that floor). Great location by Fort Macon, we enjoyed visiting the park and liked that there was less traffic at that end. We'll recommend this place to others!"

"Sea, Sun, Sand and Family....The Perfect Vacation
My son and his family were flying in from Brussels and we needed a place to sleep 10. As soon as I saw this posting I called Cannon and Gruber and spoke with Vickie. She was so helpful and answered all my questions. I rented the unit immediately. From start to finish she was there to answer all of my concerns and questions making the procedure effortless and worry free. I will rent from them again!"

Overall was a great weekend. We did have 1 issue when we first arrived. The beds in the basement were not made nor were the sheets off, so we weren’t sure if someone had slept on them and they had just forgotten to be cleaned. We did not use those beds."
