This condo is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a weekend of fun with the kids. No pets allowed. Boat parking available, for an additional $20 per night plus tax. "Birthday celecbration
The condo was beautiful and spacious. The balcony had the best view of Port A. Sitting outside whether by the pool, cooking, or fishing on private peer, you really cannot ask for a better weekend. The down side is the stairs."

"My Mother’s Day getaway
We really love the place we stay at it felt nice and welcoming the only thing wrong was that we only had 2 pans an 18inch and 14 inch pan didn’t have other pans to cook and two small pots and also 3 large plates we had to cook and wash on the pans and cook again just have our food ready and only one was an non stick pan and also there was no ice nor had ice trays to make ice other than that we love the stay but had to work around those issues "

" Channelview Condominiums
I love love love this place. If you love to fish at all hours of the day or night and be steps away from your bed, this is the place to stay. This is my third visit to this property and I enjoyed myself just as much as the first time I was here. Such a beautiful view of the channel from the pool. So relaxing and comfortable. We like to come in April and October because there are fewer people on the pier at night but I’m sure it’s nice during hi season also.
This time, there were a lot of owners at the property bc of an hoa meeting. I think next year I will try and schedule a week when they are not there. They were nice but it made things a little more stressful. Not the managements fault. I just didn’t know the meeting would be happening when I scheduled my stay. I stayed in 217. So nicely decorated and very comfortable. I really appreciate having a washer/dryer at my disposal. Patty ( I think her name is Patty) is always helpful and sweet. GREAT PLACE TO STAY!"

"Very happy with this rental
We rented this on short notice and were a little worried it would be cramped, but it worked out great for me, my wife and our three kids. Living room is spacious. Very nice kitchen and appliances. You do have to walk a couple flights of stairs but the parking garage is right under the building. Only issue we ran into was the door code resetting on the second day, but the mgt company was responsive and solved it within a few minutes. Good location, you can walk to get ice cream, doughnuts, or coffee if you like. "

"Dose of the Coast
When we vacation to the coast, we look to check a few "box's" on our list:
*LOCATION!!!
*Clean/Modern Room(Momma's request - Men/Boys can tough it out)
*Pool on site
*Fishing Pier in a GOOD LOCATION(off a main channel or gut; kids have minimal patience to catch fish so I like to give them the best opportunity to catch!)
*Access/Drive-time to beach
When vacationing to the coast - We primarily focus on the above items. The rest is hit or miss but for the most part, I'd have to say this stay was one of my favorites by far. We paired it with the sun rays, some blue skies, and pretty clean looking beach water to made a great escape before the summer rush hits! I definitely plan to stay again in the future sometime."

"Wonderful stay at Channel View Condos
We really loved our stay at Channel View while in Port A. The condo was very nicely decorated and very clean. The pool and grounds were well kept and the fishing pier was large and very well built. The location to the beach and restaurants were within walking distance. We will always book our stay at Channel view every time we visit the island."

I had another great stay in the nicely restored condo. Love how it's off the beaten pass and still close to beach, grocery store, restaurants and boat charters. Private fishing pier is awesome. Just a little too much bug spray vapors in the condo. "

"Perfect spot to fish and convenient to local restaurants & beach.
Everything was great. We choose to stay here even though all 5 of us were in the same room with one bathroom because it is on the channel with a dock for fishing. The beds were comfortable and the condo was nicely renovated. It is a great spot! My 16 and 20 year old daughters wished there was a full length mirror somewhere ��. Would definitely stay here again. "

Love Channel View for its size and location. One disappointing thing is this unit has NO elevator. Makes hauling luggage and supplies taxing. The check in information says it was professionally cleaned but food crumbs were on the chairs/furniture as well as the dining table top. Refrigerator had hand marks on it as well as we found used Kleenex tissues under the bunk bed. Toilet is loose or something so every time you sit it makes a noise. Both sinks in the bathroom were slow draining. The rug in the bedroom has yard stickers intertwined in the carpet so I had to make sure I had on house shoes on in the bedroom. Then on a personal note the sheets were very scratchy (just a personal preference). Love the location, privacy and property of channel view though!!!"

"Fall fishing and time with the grandkids
We found everything to be really nice and perfect for us except a few things missing in the kitchen for cooking purposes. During Covid 19 we ate almost every meal in our room. TV s worked great. 2 senior adults and a 5 and 8 year old. Sleeping arrangements were great. Climbing the stairs was a challenge."

"Not worth the price we paid.
Was told right off when I made reservation that the pool and elevator was out of order for maintenance that weekend. When we arrived, people were splashing and yelling FROM the POOL. I had 19 people TOTAL in my family, and NOT one of them had a bathing suit. My g grands are 7 and 5, what do I tell them?? We had rented a golf cart, It went down. Was told battery dead due to key not turned off. WRONG. New battery, Still DEAD. Internet worked maybe 1/3 of the time. Was it worth 1500.00 NO WAY. Not with all the LIES and problems we had. We had 2 6 person, one was 398, the other over 500. Paid 85 Cleaning fee.for EACH unit. Then told to take out trash, fill and wash dishes, and turn thermostat up to 80??? Husband asked why we were PAYING cleaning fee?? Will NOT go back, or recommend it. "

Don't stay in this condo! Needs MAJOR renovating. Fridge leaked constantly. Oven thermostat waaaaay off. No hangers in any closet. The owners literally do the bare minimum for their renters. Have stayed at Channel View many times before..I think this is the WORST unit to rent."

I've stayed here last year & it was great, this year not so much. The condo was dirty, the furnishings were cheap & filthy, the closest in the bedroom was full of junk & I couldn't even use it, the carpet was gross, the a/c wasn't working properly so I told the maintenance man & put in a service request, someone did come out but all they did was lock the thermostat so it wouldn't go under 70.The drapes were stained, nasty & didn't close, the refrigerator was not clean basically whoever owns this unit is a slum lord & we will not be back. We did find some condos right down the road that are really nice & cheaper....."
