There is a sleeper sofa in the living room, perfect for the littles. A perfect condo for the entire family. Enjoy the refreshing beachfront community pool after a long day at the beach.
Please note: There is no patio access from the living room door, access is only through the king bedroom. Parking for 2, permit required. Sorry, no pets, golf carts or views.

"Good Space, Well Stocked, but work needed
There’s lots of room, beds are comfy. Kitchen is well-appointed and nice and has a great pantry. Good location as far as being close to the beach - that was our priority.
Our problem was mostly with the doors. There’s STILL a crack in the master patio door - I assumed it would have been fixed by now. The main patio door is VERY hard to close without slamming. I have five kids ranging 14-21, and we all had trouble. My husband had to close the door each time bc you need strength and gentleness. It’s ridiculous. Also, there are notes ab not tearing up the blinds but they are cheap and flimsy and one panel was missing in master. I was dumb and didn’t realize this was a first-floor rental. The lights from the pool shone right into the master at night and they’re kind of bright. Hard to block them out with the ****** blinds. Also the master bath has been recently updated but water pressure isn’t great and it won’t spray all the way to the back of the shower.
Overall the unit has good bones but needs some work."

"Always a Grand Time
This was our 3rd time staying at this condo and we’re already looking at dates for next summer to come again. Due to the hurricane they allowed us to change our dates for any day of our choosing as long as the condo wasn’t already booked for no extra charge and we can’t even say how much that was appreciated, as coming to Port A has been tradition for over 20 years!! It’s always very well kept and the pool and boardwalk are the best thing about it as it is so convenient to walk right to the beach every day!The rental always has the basic amenities and we always feel right at home here. Very family friendly "

"1002 Review
Room was well equipped but needs blinds especially in master bedroom. No privacy because blinds were broken and let it way too much light. Same with other bedrooms very bright in there. Very hard to sleep with that much light in room. Dining table is broken and wobbly. Seating is difficult at the table. "

"Great Location! Good pool for kids!
The rental was very spacious and the convenient location near the beach was great. There were some minor maintenance issues such as a cracked window in the Master Bedroom door and a stuck Freeezer drawer which were disappointing. The office was very responsive to our concerns however the broken door was concerning."

"Fantastic vacation
Second time in this condo, first in this particular unit. We LOVED this one! This unit was probably the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen, it was so comfortable, and very clean! "A great beach trip!
We stayed for 5 days at a 3 BR/ 3 ba Grand Caribbean condo. Very comfortable beds, AC was fine, Dining table had seats for our large group. Pool was clean and refreshing. Beach was quickly accessible via boardwalk. Management quickly responsive to any problem or question. Would definitely stay here again! "

"Great location don’t count on sitting on your balcony!
It appears the owner has locked both sliding glass doors limiting the ability to go out on the balcony. We contacted maintenance, they walked in looked at it and left. The location is fabulous- steps away from the ocean. However- I couldn’t honestly tell you if you could see or hear the oven from the condo- even though it faces the ocean due to an inability to walk out on the balcony. The condo itself is nice. If you have no desire to sit on the balcony with a cup of Joe- this is a fabulous condo- 5 stars all the way."

Outstanding. We love GC. The security gate on boardwalk is nice but sometimes didnt work. We love the pool...there was a bit of algae on the side. The unit we stay in is so nice and has become "our family" condo for 1 week each summer. We appreciate Port A Escapes helping us out every year and returning calls and emails. "Perfect location!
This location was an A+. Very few condos on the property and most of the other buildings were father away, allowing you lots of room to stretch out on the beach. Loved it! The boardwalk is not as long as it looks in the pictures. The condo is very spacious. I loved drinking my coffee on the patio and watching the sunrise every morning. The only recommendation I would make it to add a lock to the top of the door. The door is similar to a hotel door, you simply turn the handle and it opens. Our 4-year old took off once. I would add a sliding lock or hinge - something simple. We will be back for sure!"

"Great Room
Room Was in a great location. clean and very nice, only thing we noticed there was some damage to the room as we checked in. The door going to the patio from master bedroom handle was broken so we count not open to feel the breeze, called property manager they never fixed it. It was chilly out side and pool was not heated. other then small details and cool weather the room was nice, you would think for the price maintenance and management would of been on top of the damage to the room."

"Love the building but this unit not so much
I always love this property but not this unit. We had issues but the management company did resolve them. I made the best of my stay but the unit owner should pull this down and really finish her post hurricane updates beyond the bare minimum. Dont rely on the pictures for this unit as they are taken before the hurricane hit is 2017."

"Family vacation
#1002 was nice , however beds in 2nd and 3rd bedroom were listed as queens and there not. There smaller and the one was very hard. The oven in this unit was very slow to heat up. Took 40 min. To get to 400 degrees. And the carpet which is all rooms but the kitchen, hall, and baths had stickers in it that we kept getting in our feet. They did gave xtra chairs etc that we could use, that was very nice and it was convient being on ground floor. Over all we had a good stay and will come back. Please fix or get a new oven. "

"Family Weekend at Port A
The condo was great for our family weekend get away. The first floor location was perfect for this trip with my 8 month old grandson. It was close to the pool and easy for back and forth trips throughout the day with the baby. The living space was a little tight with 6 adults but the 3 bedrooms and 3 baths were great!! The condo was very clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have the blinds replaced in the living area; they are broken and do not work. Overall it was a great weekend in Port Aransas!!"
