It was perfect close to everything. The only thing I didnt like is it has a strong smoke smell even thou it says no smoking and my daughter got locked in the restroom to left of the kitchen and was screaming for help. The door is jacked up and its hard to get out of , other than that the location is perfect and a nice house "

"Cute home, great location
The home was nice and is in a great location convenient to everything. You can even walk to the beach if you choose. It had all the basics including lots of cookware. Areas for improvement were: lack of kitchen ventilation so everytime we cooked the smoke detectors went off and it became veer smoky in room. Ceiling fans in bedrooms would be a great addition as the rooms get very warm and the fridge did not cook much. Other than that the place was nice. "

"Great porch, close to beach, but needs exterminator.
Good = split bedrooms each with their own private bath. Cottage has a very nice covered porch which was great to get fresh air but stay out of the sun. Porch includes a grill! Extremely close to beach, restaurants, grocery store, drugstore, etc. Management responded quickly to my ? about the coffee maker before our trip (drip, standard filters). Lots of nice dishes & excellent cutting knives. Well stocked kitchen with appliances. Grateful for washer & dryer in the cottage with washer pods! Nice sample sets of bath toiletries, kitchen soap, kitchen sponge, dishwasher soap, paper towels, plenty of toilet paper for 3 days. Rental price was decent. Management company extremely accommodating when we had to reschedule our vacation due to my mother's emergency hip replacement surgery.
Bad or so/so = multiple roaches in kitchen and bathroom. Baseboards and doorways are scuffed & need repainting, furniture layout isn't great, living room sofas are incredibly uncomfortable. Left pocket bathroom door very hard to close. Right pocket bedroom door will not close or latch, slides right back open. Water pressure in right bathroom is weak. Blinds in right bedroom are broken at the bottom. I knew from the pictures the pavement jutted up to the coytage but I had no idea it was going to be a cottage park with lots of other cottages & vehicles in the same area. Blessing was it seemed to be well insullated/sound proofed; we could not hear anyone else inside our cottage at any time. We couldn't get the dishwasher to turn on. Nowhere to hang hand towels or face cloths in either restroom. Shower rod pulled down & hit me in the head as I was trying to hang up my bath towel ��. Not enough facecloths or hand towels.
If it wasn't for the roaches, nothing else was a real deal breaker for us and we would have probably stayed there again on our annual beach trip."

We enjoyed our stay with friends. Outside deck privacy was wonderful. It's well arranged for the space. We will definitely consider returning. The only cautious thing we experienced was the shower floors felt like they weren't supported. But it all held up. "

"Great little house and perfect location
This was our second time renting this property and we love it. Perfectly located to be a two minute drive to everything. The place was clean, had plenty of cooking pans, dishes and utensils. "Perfect little spot!
Perfect two bedroom two bath for a fun weekend with family or friends. Check in was so easy, place was very clean with all the necessities available. It was a good distance from the beach and was very easy to get to with the golf cart we rented, you could walk to the beach but it would take a little so I recommend renting a golf cart, most people do anyway. We really enjoyed being able to grill on the available patio with our friends."

Overall we had a good stay (even though it rained nonstop the whole time we were there!!). The home was pretty clean, parking spot right in front of home and was convenient to the main shops and restaurants. Some attention to detail is needed: no coverlets or bedspreads on any bed (only sheets on bed), stacks of plywood were visible underneath beds and living room couches, one bathroom was missing a mirror over the sink and no ceiling fans in any bedroom."

We were very pleased with this cute cottage. It was just as described and very clean. A surprise was the new wifi. The weather on Thanksgiving day was rainy and a bit chilly so we did appreciate and enjoy the TV and wifi. Everything we needed was there except for a light blanket or quilt. I gladly recommend this cottage. "

"Not a Happy Experience
Was advertised as smoke and pet free. The place reeked of cigarette smoke and my eyes react to cat dander in a horrible way. I was in the property for about 10 minutes when my eyes began to react to what could only be cat dander. Giant roaches about 3 inches long skittered about the place at night and in my sister's room some kind of creature was scratching between the interior and exterior bedroom wall. The batter cover for one TV remote was broken and the batteries were dead. I improvised. Outside of those complaints, the place had a fairly well appointed kitchen and the location was great. On first look the property did appear very clean...but after walking in and experiencing the swollen eyes and poor air was not clean enough for me to enjoy my stay."

Very clean, bright. Air conditioner worked great and they even had an extra fan to stir the air. Office staff was very helpful. They had quick responses to our requests. Definitely will stay here again. You might want to bring extra towels to shower with. There is no washer/dryer."

Quaint cottage. However when you cook the fire alarm goes off. Beds were comfy. However the bedroom with the TV has a vent above the bed that leaks water onto your head. The mosquitoes were terrible. We had to go and buy mosquito spray to be able walk out to the vehicle. We moved the table and they hadn’t swept under the table. The dish rack had mold in the silverware holder. "

The condo unit was clean and was decorated very nice. The fire alarms would go off every time we turned on the stove to make our meals. During our stay we had rain and in the bedroom with the TV drops of water fell from the air vent. The other room without the TV ants were noticed by the window closest to the bathroom.Although I read on the website to bring laundry soap, no washer and dryer were available. "

"Just Beachy
My husband, two year old and myself enjoyed a week in Port A. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this cottage was perfect for us. The place was very clean and comfortable. We did awaken one morning to a few ants in the kitchen which was addressed very quickly by the property manager. The location was perfect. We were able to rent a golf cart and travel to all the places we wanted to visit on the island including the beach on the cart. We would definitely stay here again."

Enjoyed the cabin. The view isn't much but just 3 blocks to the beach. One of the twoedrooms did not have a TV although it was advertised as having one. A bit of a disappointment but all in all the unit served us well. "
