1206 Sea Crest is a spacious 2nd-floor corner villa in the Sea Crest complex where you can enjoy direct oceanfront views. As you enter the front door into a small foyer, you will notice the very nice plank-style flooring. To the left is a guest bedroom with two double beds, a bench seat, and an accent chair. The sliding doors open to a private covered balcony where there are two high-top Adirondack chairs to enjoy the views of the resort lagoons, pool, and ocean. This bedroom also has a private bathroom with a double granite-topped vanity and a large walk-in shower. To the right of the foyer, you have the open living room, kitchen, and dining area, perfect for the whole family. There is a hall bathroom that can also be accessed from the guest bedroom. It has a double vanity, soaking tub, and walk-in shower. The adjacent guest bedroom has two queen beds, and a large walk-in closet. The dining room has a glass-topped table that seats six and a mirror accent wall. The fully equipped kitchen is next and has granite counters, stainless steel appliances, including a flat-top stove, and a kitchen nook where there is a high-top table that seats two plus two additional seats at the countertop. In the living room, you will find a comfortable sectional and two rocking chairs. There are lots of windows to let in the sunlight and provide you with beautiful ocean views. Off the kitchen is the master bedroom, which features a king bed and an accent chair. The sliding doors open to the balcony, which can also be accessed from the living room. This balcony has two chairs and a high-top table for two. a great place to have your morning coffee or evening cocktail! The ensuite has a double granite vanity and a large walk-in shower. The Sea Crest Resort is located just steps from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and offers a variety of amenities, such as two oceanfront pools, a hot tub, a children’s pool, a fitness center, and beautifully landscaped gardens. You are also within walking distance of Coligny Plaza, where you will find over 100 shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Sea Crest is one of the premier Hilton Head Island resorts. On October 7, 2024, construction will begin at Seacrest, running through May 1, 2025. The work will be done in phases, but the site may have a construction feel throughout. On October 7th scaffolding will be erected on the building that 1206 is situated in to repair balcony edges, caulking, and floor coating. Seacrest pond will be temporarily drained. The lagoon was drained and an eye sore. I wish I had been told that the lagoon would be drained during this time. Very poor communication." Part of why we wanted this condo was the view of the property, pool and then the ocean. We were not advised the lagoon and water feature were drained. The other issue was the water coming up from the floor in one of the closets. It was a slow leak. That and bathroom toilets that kept running. We called the property management and they sent out maintenance. Neither the floor nor the toilets were fixed. We didn’t use that closet during our stay. When the amenities state what’s available in the kitchen, that’s it. There were no filters for the coffee maker, no aluminum foil or plastic wrap or things like that. So, pack those items for your stay. The management company was responsive and helpful. The concierge service provided great recommendations. Even when the bike company messed up the bike lock and didn’t fix it, Island Time came and took care of it. The beach is beautiful and clean. The condo is very conveniently located to pools, bar/restaurant and beach. Even better is that it is next to Coligny Plaza where you can find many shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. So they were unaware that the scenic water pools that look so lovely on the website had been drained for repair and that the work still had not been completed by our arrival on May 11th. They were unsightly and disappointing, but the actual swimming pools were open and of course the ocean and beach were still there." The description and photos were accurate, the size and location perfect for our family. It was our first stay with Island Time. Their assistance and follow-ups were professional and timely. We will use them again. The condo and building was clean and well cared for. If I were owning or renting more regularly there I would be expecting a proper foyer and guarded reception area. Why? It is too confusing for self and guests to arrive via the parking area. For the price it needs proper reception and easier entry. The family enjoyed the closeness to Coligny where the teenagers could safely wander and grandparents walk on level ground. We are swimmers and enjoyed both pools, heated or not!" The property description was very accurate. As first time visitors, the location was perfect(an easy walk for all our needs), the view was gorgeous and the easy pool/beach access was great for kids. We comfortably had 6 adults and 3 small kids. We had two 3 year olds that spent every day in the pool. We also had a 6 week old with us, so the short walk to the condo from the pool was very convenient. The customer service was very attentive from start to finish. We had one day of a lot of rain and wind which cause some of the windows to leak and also caused the floor in the master to have water come up from the floor. When I contacted the POC they quickly provided us with additional towels and had the property manager to come out and take a look at the issue. That was the only concern during the entire trip. It was unfortunate the water garden was under maintainance. The whole time we were there, it was being worked on so we didn't get the same view we saw on line. The property is convenient to the beach, the shops and restaurant and to an amazing playground. We also discovered pickleball courts that were free. Each morning we headed out to play. We ate out most of the time but when I did prepare food, I noticed I could have used a few serving utensils. ...a serving spoon especially. The disposal did not work while we were there. On the second day of our stay, someone came out to fix it but it still did not work. It might be time for a new disposal. The bathrooms have great showers. I would not hesitate in renting it again."
