The Jiggy Getaway LCV34 is a fabulous home offers 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and is just a short walk to a secluded beach. The main living area offers a wonderful open living room and kitchen area. The spacious living room has a queen sleeper and a full size sleeper sofa. The first bedroom, has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a queen, as well. The primary bedroom has a king size bed and an attached bath. The downstairs is connected to the upstairs by an exterior staircase. Downstairs, you will find a game room apartment. There is king, a twin over full bunk, and a sleeper sofa, along with a half bath. There is a fabulous pool table. Lost Colony Villas offers a community pool, a boardwalk to the beach and miles of secluded beach. Come enjoy a day at the beach and a perfect sunset at the Lost At Sea beach house. This home can accommodate a maximum of 4 cars. (no garage access) All vehicles must be parked in driveway. No parking in the grass or street. NO garage access. Towing enforced by the HOA.

- A 2-3 night minimum stay is required.
- Contracting guests must be at least 25 old, have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID, and present throughout the entire stay.
- This is a PET-FRIENDLY RENTAL. Pet fees are an additional $20.00+tax, per pet, per night. A maximum of 3 pets are allowed. Additionally, a pet-cleaning fee is also charged, which is $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days, and $100 for stays of 30 or more days.

"Great Property but not for 13 people
The house is great and the location is amazing. However, the first floor had awful smell, it was very hard to be / sleep there. Also, someone left a note on our car windshield saying that they would like to step in to get their things from the garage. They claimed that their aunt owns the property. We thought it was inappropriate."

"Very nice stay
Very nice house, with only a few minor problems. First off, the house is no longer blue as in the pic, its white (we drive by the house a few times without realizing it was ours when we first arrived). Also missing a few balls for the pool table. Other than that its a nice weekend house. Its about 8 miles from the Port Aransas. Price was right, and the area was very clean with nice neighbors. Relatively close walking access to the beach, and drive on beach access is only a few miles away if needed. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. WI-FI was off when we arrived, but maintance came quickly after they were called and got it fixed. Overall very happy with the weekend. "

"Pretty Much As Expected
There were differences between that which was described, and that which we found. There are only two Queen bed size bedrooms on main floor. One King bed size room above main floor, and "Games Room" on floor below with a Queen, and lots of single, pull out, and bunk beds.
Slight roach problem in kitchen and living room. None in bedrooms nor baths. Also, not greater than you have to expect in TX. Deep cleaning needed such as base boards, books and crannies. There are LOTS of steps that made me nervous with our 7 to 15 y.o. guests but no falls though (phew). Plenty of kitchen gear and sheets and towels. Biggest problem for me is proximity to the beach. Way too far. "

"Lost Colony 34
Pros:
Atheistically nice (nice furnishings, nicely decorated). 10 mins walk to beach. Kitchen had plenty of pots/pans and two nice coffee makers but very little dish soap, no hand soap.
Cons:
Smelled like cigs (gross!), weird smell when use ice maker (grosser!), saw few roaches during stay (grossest!), HORRIBLE old mattresses. The bottom floor with pool table was cool in theory. It’s a converted garage - there’s a giant water heater in the bathroom (needs to be framed off) and the door kept getting stuck. This is the room with the bunk beds - I wanted my kids in here but with the stuck door and open water heater, didn’t feel safe so didn’t use. It’s the first house in Lost Colony so you can hear road noise (didn’t bother me but may bother light sleepers).
Overall was ok. I thought a 10 min walk would be close enough but it was too far for my elderly mother and lugging everything to beach was bit of a pain. Also while you can technically see the ocean, I wouldn’t call this “ocean view” (I don’t recall if claimed to be). Depending on what you’re looking for this may suit your needs if you consider the items above. However the smells and the roaches really need to be addressed. "

"Lovely
Only negative is we would like to have known the gameroom/bedroom is not connected indoors. You have to go outside to get in. We planned it as the kids room but it was unnerving to not have direct access. "

"Not Worth $600 a night!
There are many issues with the house. Somethings are annoying like: no batteries in the remote control for main living room TV, sound/audio not working on the Game Room TV, no TV in bedroom #3. Some cleaning issues like: Smoking smells or mildew smells in the Game Room, beer cans and litter in the grass when we just arrived. Safety issues like: splitting wood from a rotting door frame in the main living room, broken door knob that had rusting metal sharp edges on the Game Room entry door. The rental should be listed as a 3 bedroom. The game room is a garage conversion that wasn't comfortable for adults, and unsafe for kids at night. The game room is on the bottom floor, only accessible by existing second floor, where the true 3 bedroom house is..."

"Family Christmas vacation
There was 10 of us that came to visit Texas for the first time. We had all adults. The downstairs had a very musty smell and had to call twice to get it fixed. It was never fixed but became tolerable. We had to change how people slept since we have several with asthma and they could not tolerate the basement. It was a good location to spend time as a family but a drive if you wanted to do anything. Easy walk to beach. We enjoyed our visit."

"Family Vacation
Booking was easy. Checking in process did not go smoothly at all . Called after we got to rental with a question and was told it was after hours call back in the morning. Not enough supplies. Had to go buy Toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and trash bags. 14 people 5 days 2 trash bags and 4 rolls of toilet paper was not enough. Especially the price we paid for the rental. All in all we had a great time. The bunk bed room -the bed was awful. If you moved sightly it squeaked. Loved the deck. "

"Company Get Away
There were 9 of us. We had a great time. There were a few things we would recommend for a large home like this. Add a few extra trash bags, some extra dish washing soap, extra dishwasher detergent, paper towels and extra toilet paper. With our large group we went through all these things quickly in the days we were there and had to go buy them. Otherwise, this home was great. "

"Lost At Sea
The house itself was great. The whole group loved it but I was disappointed (I was the one who booked it). It is 3 bedrooms with extra space on the main floor. IT IS NOT 4 BEDROOMS! The floors were incredibly dirty but the mgmt co said they could have had someone clean them. The bunk bed in one room was SO squeaky our kids had to shared the extra mattress on the floor. The house was nice and the bonus room in the bottom was great as well. Take away the fact that it is advertised as a 4 bedroom and the squeaky bed and it was great.
The haul to the beach is a bit much. You CANNOT drive through the gate at the end of the road. That is private property. You CANNOT park their either. So you will have to walk from the house down the road through the other houses and down the boardwalk to the beach. Probably wouldn't have been to bad except the mequitos were so freaking bad. Walking back from beach I have at least 20 on me sometimes. There are little ponds on either side of the property that really doesn't help with it. The only time we were able to sit on the balconies was one evening when the wind was really blowing. Otherwise you get eaten alive with the mosquitos. I said I would say again because my family loved it. Despite all my griping above. "

"Nice house
Overall nice place to stay. The kitchen was very small and didn't have a pan large enough to cook bacon or have a dustpan with the broom. Also no dishwasher detergent or dish towels just washcloths. It also lacked mats at the doorways to wipe your feet. They didn't provide enough towels for all the guests but were very responsive when I called the office. I was disappointed that the patio furniture was so rusted and broken although there was a nice wooden picnic table to sit at outside on the nice patio. The cable was turned off after our first day but they mailed new boxes the next day. There was plenty of room for all 18 of us. We brought some twin air mattresses so no one had to sleep on the sleeper sofas in the living room. The downstairs smelled a little strong after they cleaned so we had to air it out. The house was very clean overall except the pans in the kitchen. They were stained. The location was within 5 min walking to the beach but up against the main highway so you could hear road noise. Plenty of room for 6 cars in the driveway. We would stay here again but hopefully they will correct some of the minor issues."

"Great Fun Had
The picture must be an older picture. I’m always amazed at how different the perception from the pictures and real life are. Driveway is twice the size now and there are other houses, as this one is the very first one in the neighborhood.
It’s a good size, perfect for our family of 17 that was on Spring Break together. A couple of things that need improvement is the mattresses on the sofa beds, they are very dingy and brown. Also a vacuum type floor sweeper instead of a broom.
We had an awesome time and think if you have a large family that this house is perfect!"

"Great stay
It is in a good location from Port Aransas. You can walk to the beach and you can see the beach from both decks. Very roomy with all couches folding out to sleeper beds. My family had a great time overall. I didn’t see the grills until day we were leaving, they were in garage and we didn’t go in there. But will look into renting from here again. "

"Beautiful house but plan on cold showers ! Also ....
The game room is not accessible to the inside of the house . You have to go outside to get to it and it smelled BAD like chemical or paint. The house was gorgeous but plan on cold showers . The hot water ran out quick even with taking quick showers in our group. Coming in from the cold beach and trying to warm up the kids with a quick shower wasn’t possible . Out of 4 days I got 2 hot showers the rest were cold . Also the HOA lady at the corner house was not very friendly. . Long walk to the beach and it’s NOT accessible with a car which was disappointing. Pool is very small. "
