San Souci GW109 offers sprawling decks that give amazing views. The open floor plan offers a gourmet kitchen and enough living space for the whole family. There is wi-fi, smart TV, all the amenities that you expect in the kitchen, and a large deck for watching the surf. There are 2 bedrooms with full bath on the 3rd floor, with 1 queen and 1 king. The primary is on the 2nd floor and looks straight at the beach. It has a large bathroom with a jet tub and separate shower. There is also a queen bedroom on the 2nd floor with a full bath. There is 1 bedroom on the 1st floor with 2 sets of full size bunks, television, and a full bath. This room is perfect for the younger crowd in your group. Monthly rentals available in January and February only, $7,500/month Effective 8/12/23
Per HOA: Per HOA: No boats, trailers or street parking at the home. There are a maximum of 4 cars allowed at this property. If you choose to rent a golf cart it must be rented from Port A Beach Buggies at (restrictions apply, see below for more information and details)

- A 2-3 night minimum stay is required.
- Contracting guests must be at least 25 old, have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID, and present throughout the entire stay
- This is a PET-FRIENDLY RENTAL. Pet fees are an additional $20.00+tax, per pet, per night. A maximum of 3 pets are allowed. Vaccination records are required to be presented if asked for by the HOA. Additionally, a pet-cleaning fee is also charged, which is $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days, and $100 for stays of 30 or more days.
- GOLF CART INFO: Gulf Waters charges $3.00 a day per golf cart for a golf cart pass. Port A Beach Buggies offers special rates for guests staying at Gulf Waters RV Resort. Call Scott at.

We expected better than $60.00 a night hotel sheets and towels. If your gonna have tall beds, you should let people know they will need a stepladder. The main burner on the cooktop was inop as was the toaster oven. View from the deck was amazing. Place just needs a little upgrading/tlc. "

Our family vacation was awesome. Although the weather forecast was for 3 of the days to be raining, turned out it was beautiful & overcast. The house was a great setup for all 4 generations.
A few things would be helpful to have: ie more kitchen towels, a few blankets as the A/C was very cold no matter the setting. Also all the A/C vents & bathroom vents need cleaning. Port A Escapes is very easy to work with to make the reservations as well as very responsive to all inquiries."

On a scale of 1-5 I would give San Souci a 3.5 but I wou rent it again because of its size, location and amenities. Needs a new BBQ pit badly, grass needed cutting,no soap in bathrooms , hose faucets in back broken,dishwasher not working well"

"Port A Trip
This property was very comfortable and the view was just exactly what we were looking for. The home was generally clean inside. The outside could use a little TLC. It was well supplied in the kitchen for all our needs. The beds were comfortable. The only issues we encountered was the washing machine, which was finally taken care of. The dryer's front panel was loose and made some noise when running. We had some "alerts" that went off in the middle of the night. The refrigerator didn't seem like it kept things cold enough and we followed the instructions upon arrival. We did not use the dishwasher as the racks were pretty rusty. That did not pose a problem for us. We have rented this property again for next year so are happy to recommend. Thank you. "

Our family enjoyed a get together after Christmas in Port A at this clean, roomy, beautifully maintained home on the beach. We enjoyed the beach, the heated pool and shops in town along with evenings of games with the family. Make the trip, well worth it!"

"Very Disappointed is the under statement of the year
To start with the house is at the end of a RV park which requires you to drive through the park to go anywhere. This certainly wasn’t disclosed. I have never written a negative review but feel compelled to do so here. I won’t go into detail about the sinks that drained slow, the screwed up ice maker, the obvious deferred maintenance, etc. I will leave you with this, if someone offered to pay me to stay here a week, all my guest and I would 100% decline the offer. This was the biggest waste of money in all my years of vacationing."

"Great Vacay Stay
Beautiful views of the gulf, close to beach access walkover, roomy for our large family, the grandgirls loved the bunkroom, Gulf Water facilities were enjoyed - the pool was a hit! Large equipped kitchen! All very clean! Over all it was a great place to stay and make those memories. Only thing to make it perfect is to have more comfortable seating that accommodates everyone in the main living room and dining area. "

"Not very impressed
My family books a house in Port A every August. This year we didn’t book as earlier as usual and there wasn’t much available. This house was more expensive than just about any we’d rented before especially with fees (over $6000 for three nights!) We were told that check in would be at 4, but when we got there the cleaning lady was still cleaning. The house is at the back of an RV park, which was a little weird, but the park was nicer than a typical rv park. We had to wear wristbands and register our cars to park there, a little annoying, especially since my daughter drove over from another town to visit and we were immediately reported for having an extra car at our house, even though she didn’t stay the night. Other things that were a problem: light bulbs out throughout the house, the yard was in desperate need of mowing, trash in the planters by the front door. Only one bedroom was a tv. The other two are in common areas. The internet went out for long stretches while we were there. Then coffee maker and the Keurig were both broken. Over all the house seems to need some TLC.
On the positive side, the house is a close walk to the beach. Be forewarned though, if you wish to drive a car to that spot behind the house it’s a very long drive to a beach access road in either direction.
I wouldn’t stay at this place again unless the rates dropped considerably and the place got a facelift. "

"What a great time and experience!
We had an excellent vacation getaway with the whole family and this home was perfect for handling the 12 of us. Great memories were made and the home contributed to that with its close proximity to the beach and ocean views. The house has all you need to keep everyone comfortable and happy!
The management TEAM was friendly and helpful. They were quick to respond to WIFI connection issue which was a quick and easy resolution.
My Mom and Dad, brothers and sister along with their families thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. I recommend this property to anyone in search of great memories to be had!

"Great house very bad house keeping
The house was great. Well equipped with anything you would need. But the house was not cleaned properly by the housekeeping. Even the linen was not changed on all beds. We had to find extra linen and change it. The bunk bed was broken on our arrival and when notified to the management they didn’t fix it that night and we had to sleep on floor. They fixed it the next day. With cleaning fee of $300+ we expected a cleaner house."

"Amazing Home, Stunning Views!!
We had the best time at San Souci! The home is spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. We appreciated that all bedrooms have a bathroom either en suite or adjacent. The kids enjoyed the huge bunk room with adjoining patio and yard. We spent a great deal of time on the back covered deck taking in the 180 view of the Gulf, but the view could also be equally enjoyed from inside. Even the kitchen window offers a sunset view of palm trees and the Bay. It wasn't a chore doing the dishes! We were definitely spoiled by the views and beach proximity that this home provides, and we'd love to return! "

"Awful Experience-Our Children Were Scared to Death
All was great until the kids were driving the golf cart around the RV Resort Complex. They were stopped by a man towing another golf cart in the complex, whose teeth were falling out and he was in a dirty T-shirt with “STAFF” printed on it. He wasn’t wearing a badge or ID. He stopped my nephew and told him he couldn’t drive the cart, then made him get in his cart and left the other children on the cart alone. He refused to let them leave, or come back to the house. He drove my nephew back to the house and left; he didn’t come to the door or notify us that there was a problem. Terrified when our nephew came in without the younger children, we ran to find them. The man was setting in his cart, watching our children; he was filthy. My brother and I addressed his behavior, said he was a stranger and how dare he put any children on his cart, or hold other children. We immediately started calling management, etc. This man then reported our children as driving as reckless so he wouldn’t get I to trouble. We do far have. Or received any money back and the home rental alone was over $2,000.00!! Horrible experience."

"Beach getaway
Overall our stay at this house was a great experience. The floorpan is large and comfortable. The house has beach access over the board walk that also accommodates a golf cart. We highly recommend renting a cart for quicker access and ease to carry beach gear to the beach. Closest beach access by car is about 3 miles down the road. We would suggest owner add basic cleaning supplies to the house such as a broom, mop, bucket, dust pan. We had a hard time keeping house clean and did the best we could with the small vacuum we found. Also, house is missing an all essential wine bottle opener. "

"Gorgeous home and view
Very spacious home, great location for 5 couples brining in 2016. Dining table was nice but more chairs were needed to accommodate 10 adults. The bottom bedroom is spacious and nice but there were no blinds on the Windows. The house was very very nice furniture and the kitchen was well equipped. Location was wonderful! "

"Wonderful stay in Port A!!
This house was great. It was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The beach view was amazing! The walk to the beach was a little bit longer than advertised (you have to walk down about a city block to get to the boardwalk, and then it's about a five minute walk down to the beach. It was too much for some members of our party, so we found a drive-up access that took about twice as long, but at least it didn't involve as much walking. For the young and fit, the walk is absolutely nothing!) We had a problem with the air conditioning the day we arrived, but the rental agency had a maintenance person out there within 90 minutes, and he stayed until the problem was fixed. Other than a few very small issues (living room windows with no curtains, which caused the main floor to get pretty warm during the day, and some basic kitchen appliances that we thought should have been included in a "furnished kitchen"), the house was wonderful. "
