EL CONSTANTE COMPLEX FEATURES -Heated, saltwater swimming pool (heated to a max temp of 86 degrees in winter months) -Hot tub -Poolside loungers, chairs and tables -Designated golf cart parking -Laundry facility on site, $2 for washer and $2 for dryer (Quarter exchange at front office) -Gazebo with gas grills (Due to our frequent droughts, high winds and burn bans -No other types of BBQ grills, pits, or outdoor cooking equipment is allowed on the premises; including parking lots, patios, or balconies
CLEANING -CLEAN BED PROMISE: (Property Management) launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME! -After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations. -Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom. -These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge. -We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION -A two-night minimum stay is required. -A signed Rental Agreement is required prior to check in. Contracting guests of (Property Management) must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. The ID must match the guest’s name on the reservation. -DOG FRIENDLY PROPERTY: MAXIMUM OF TWO DOGS/ WEIGHT RESTRICTION OF 50LBS OR LESS. -Dog breeds not permitted at El Constante due to HOA guidelines: Pit Bull-type, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Malamute, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow, Wolf-dog hybrid, or Husky-type (including Siberian). -$100 per pet fee (7 days or less), $200 (8-29 days), $300 (30+ days). -$50 pet cleaning fee (7 days or less), $75 (8-29 days), $100 (30+ days).

Reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee and tax. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to check-in will result in full forfeiture of payments made. Applicable refunds will only be issued to the guest by the same form in which it was made, even if a credit card has since expired or canceled. The above applies to moving dates or switching units as well. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures or late arrivals. If a guest does not show up for their stay the total amount paid is non-refundable.

"Great location, property needs some work
Overall we had a great time! The unit itself was very nice and comfortable. Proximity to the beach is great and getting to Corpus was easy. The grounds were dated and there was trash piled up. I think this is mainly to the people partying in the pool and area. I have to say I was not happy with the pool, it was cloudy so you didn't know how clean it really was, and the people there were drinking, eating and smoking in the pool. I also saw people using glass containers, beer bottles, in and around the pool which made me worry about my little ones. Overall, it met our needs but the amenities need to be looked at. The property management were VERY slow to respond. I understood I had a 4pm check in, however, I texted and emailed in the morning as we were heading out just to be sure everything was in order and didn't receive an answer for several hours, made for an uneasy ride wondering if your unit was available and if we could check in early."

"Nice place, great location
Right on the beach, nice large swimming pool, plenty of space in the unit. Very clean with nice updates. The sofa and the master bed are worn out and should be replaced. There was no hot water in the kitchen. We asked maintenance to check on it but they could not get the hot water to work in the kitchen."

Wonderful! This is our second year returning. Always a great experience at El Constante! The receptionists are delightful and welcoming. Easy access, wonderful heated pool and hot tub and right on th ocean. Could not ask for more. Place looks just like pictures. A hidden gem! "

We had a great time. It had been years since we had made the family trip. Back then kids were in elementary/middle school, now they are college graduates so it was nastalgic. It was important family time. We had the beach and fishing area access. Never enough time when trying to have family relaxation time. We did some touring and eating in the short time there. Thanks being a part of facilitating that. Our kids are now are in positions to tour the world but nothing beats "close to home getaways". Hopefully and prayerfully we will do it again. Again enjoyed it. "

"Very disappointed
Let me preface this review by saying that we've stayed at El Constante a number of times below and were always happy here. This time things were different. My advice to anyone is to avoid 235K. There was a leather futon on the first floor instead of the advertised sofa sleeper. The other beds were old, uncomfortable and creaky. The place was not kept up well and was dirty. The refrigerator shelf was broken and couldn't be fixed so we had to pile everything in the fridge. Two burners on the stove didn't work and had to be replaced. The lights flickered all night as if there were some problem with the wiring. The dishes and pots and pans were dirty. There was no broom for clean up. One morning we were locked in the condo because the dead bolt wouldn't open. It took a long time on the phone to get to anyone who could help us, and while we were waiting, just for safety sake, we disabled the deadbolt with some silverware because we had no tools. I was surprised to hear that the unit was owned by someone other than El Constante. I hope something is done about this condo because I wouldn't want anyone to have the experience our family had here. It's too bad because we have always enjoyed our stay at El Constante until this visit. "

the cops came out first night loud music at pool after 10:30 close time still kept on yelling etc till about 1:oo. 2nd floor too hot had to buy box fans, only one towel per person and no exchanges 1 towel for 3 days in the sand ????"

"Very Disappointed
We have been staying at El Constante every year for the past 13 years and will not be staying here again. We stayed in Unit 235 which is poolside. We had the hardest time unlocking the door as the lock is warped. The sliding door leading out to the balcony in living area was broken and the door would not slide. The futon in the living room was propped by books and wobbled so much it was unusable. The AC upstairs was nonexistent yet downstairs it was freezing. Water in one of the bathrooms only ran cold (no hot water) so all 6 of us had to take turns using one shower. After we checked in it looked like the floors hasn’t been swept in the kitchen and bathrooms so we swept them. overall very disappointing. Unit needs a good cleaning and updating. i regret paying extra for poolside since we couldn’t even get the door opened. "

"Great location but Maintenance issues
I have stayed at El Constante many times and I love the location so I return quite frequently. This unit was no exception for the location, but we had other issues. It was clean; however, there were several maintenance issues that should have been addressed before we checked in. We were informed of one maintenance issue upon check-in for which the front desk people told us to expect a maintenance guy the same day (Friday). The issue was the back sliding door to the unit balcony was off track and very hard to open or close properly. The issue was not fixed until the late afternoon on our last day of stay (Monday)... 3 days later and then only after I had sent several emails and phone calls with other issues. Three out of four of the burners on the stove did not work and the refrigerator had two broken shelves which collapsed when we put groceries in the fridge. It was also missing the bottom shelf on the door of the fridge, making room for groceries scarce. I made several maintenance claims, but again the stove wasn't fixed until late afternoon on our last day.. after we no longer needed the stove for cooking. The fridge was never fixed because parts needed to be ordered. It seems that all these issues were quite obvious and should have been addressed upon inspection of the unit and prior to our stay. Otherwise, a discount should have been offered. We checked in on a Friday and checked out on a Tuesday. On Monday, we did get a visit from a very apologetic front desk manager who said she had been off the previous three days. She did get maintenance to visit later that day, but as I said, it was a little too late for us to enjoy the amenities of our unit. I also had an issue on Friday with a very rude front desk person who didn't want to allow my 2 year old grandbaby to use the bathroom in the office by the pool. My grandbaby is recently potty trained and needs to go when she needs to go!! "

I have come here almost every summer with my family for the past couple years. We usually love it, however the room we stayed in had roaches. The shower head was barely working in one bathroom. The stove top burners didn't work on the left side of the oven. They also required wristbands for the pool which was highly inconvenient. They were also doing construction of part of the Of the property and the workers were blocking off walkways to the beach, so we had to walk completely around the building to get to the beach. All these problems combined made for a very unsatisfactory trip. When I told this to the receptionist at the front desk she offered no incentive or accommodation for my stay. We were there 4 days and 3 nights and over the weekend the office was not open as far as we could see. Also, after your stay, you are sent email upon email to complete a survey on your stay. It's unlikely we will continue to have our family vacations here. "
